Bit by bit, she is making progress on her way over, but then again ... not quite so. Humming happily over having caught the unusual Horsea, she continues to venture with Lunatone and Solrock until ... Her smile widens at the sight of multiple Miniors, playing in a field, and for a while, Morrighan simply watches as she sits down nearby, sketching the scenery. She also observes how her own two Pokémon are quietly moving to join the stellar assembly, being greeted happily by those ... fleeting, fleeting existences. It strikes as wonder how they can survive in this kind of atmosphere, but the secrets of the Pokémon world are a mystery forevermore. Maybe those aren't those that typically fall from the sky? Interesting ...[break]

A generous time must have passed before Lunatone and Solrock return to her side, and Morrighan contemplates to move on with two remaining safari balls when she notices a singular Minior following the two, a bright smile - as it seems - on its face. "Oh? Do you want to come with us, little darling?" She doesn't quite get a response, but it doesn't resist when she gently clicks the safari ball against its rocky surface, engulfing it in bright light.

Luckily, even as she takes her time to reach the Chatot, she doesn't seem keen on flying off again any time soon - if Morrighan isn't hugely mistaken, it even seems like ... "Now, are you sunbathing or sleeping?" she muses with a smile, shaking her head briefly as ... well, actually, a sunbath doesn't sound too bad right now. She lets herself float on top of the water before diving back in, a moment of respite amidst the water's hold.

Beyond The Way.

In a bustling city as Slateport, it seems quite difficult to find a quiet moment after the noise - or within the noise, to be more precise, leaving to wonder if the city would ever sleep. Perhaps, in those hours blending night to day, where only a few rise to the occasion, driven by insomnia or their profession ... perhaps then. But as people would say, the night is still young. Morrighan only left a concert venue a mere hour or two ago, trying to see if she can find a quieter place to reminisce over the experience. It feels like it's been quite a while since she went to a concert per se, that wasn't a musical or opera in that sense. Simply music, with no narration to be told. A refreshing experience, one could argue, as she also hasn't quite so heard the performer's music before. Though, something about her strikes familiar, it's hard to tell from fleeting glances on-stage, not enough to dig for in her memories.[break]

Sitting down in some park near the venue, it's almost frightening how little populated it is, but it seems that other concert goers might prefer to prolong the buzz of the concert, flocking towards busy bars and well-lit restaurants. Perhaps, she'll grab a bit for herself later? But for now ... Releasing Lunatone and Solrock, she simply walks, notebook in hand as she scribbles a little until-[break]

"Oh my - I didn't see you here-" she comes to an abrupt halt as she notices a figure in her near proximity, only hoping that perhaps, a crash is to be avoided ...

Perhaps a little to be expected, the tea made from dried calendula flowers isn't quite to the other's taste, something that she notes with a smile as he comments on it. "Fair enough - perhaps I should find a different blend that'll suit your tastes better, unless - of course - you are not inclined to tea to begin with?" Which would also be a fair statement - Morrighan doesn't quite intend to change anyone's opinion on tea per se, but it worked as a good-enough excuse to sit down and see what Josh has to tell about the various stories and tales of the world that she might not be familiar with just yet. And as it turns out, the other has even more Pokémon to show that aren't quite a common sight. "By any chance, do you like to ride?" she wonders out loud.[break]

Nodding as he explains the lorekeepers, it does feel like a similar venture, although her own focus isn't necessarily on the legendary Pokémon themselves, exclusively. There is much more to be told in the whispers of the world, after all, gnarly tales and wondrous keepsakes, but she can't deny the fascination that divine mythology has. "I see ... they sound like quite interesting people. Certainly worth a talk ..." Maybe she can see when she finds the time to find one of those, or maybe she'll run into one by mere happenstance, just like now. Tilting her head, she looks at the other - and his possession - with curiosity as he mentions a particular inclination towards Johtonian mythology. "Oh? Why is that?"

As the three of them continue their venture throughout the Safari Zone, a most interesting sight catches Morrighan's attention. Though she has seen Horseas before and finds an interest in them overall, she doesn't think she has seen a colouration such as the one that she's looking at right now. Gesturing for the two rock types to follow her, she is quick to write more notes in her notebook, observing the Horsea, before deciding to try and capture it.[break]

"Chamomile, use confusion - Chrysanthemum, would you be so kind and use psychic?" she is quick to command both of her Pokémon to attack the unsuspecting individual, ensuring that she would have little troubles when throwing a safari ball towards the shiny Horsea.

Morrighan probably hasn't even made it that far away before catching sight of another Pokémon - a Baltoy, idly standing around and not quite minding much, but ... for some reason, it evokes a sense of flight in her, something that makes her shuffle quietly away, further and further ... Well, it's too bad that there seem to be a few of the kind lingering around, but she heeds it no mind (or tries not to), leading her own steps towards a different part of the Safari Zone.

Promises are made for whenever they would return, as Morrighan nods in accordance - the certainty that they would be able to leave draws a question mark in their mind, for surely, if this is their second trip towards this strange place, they definitely were able to leave before. But how - and why? But before they can add much else, new adventures are found - and a head that pounds more and more relentlessly, subtly ... until they are swept away in a performance of its own kind.[break]

Though her movements are rusty, there is some memory to the way the ballet dancers move - not quite what she once used to witness every now and then when it was the season of such performances taking place, or the amateur-ish way that she used to practice before turning to different shores, but perhaps ... the slight sense of imperfection as the statues - dolls themselves display is just enough to make her fit in a little more. She hasn't noticed how she held her breath until the last note fades, until the caretaker of an automaton disappears to wherever it might have come from.[break]

"... quite so," Morrighan agrees after taking careful breaths to even out her lack of breathing from before, although the air is - as Lutgarde pointed out before - indeed a little ... strange. Maybe? Or it is something else that makes her feel discomforted, yet it is unable to curb her curiosity - and the desire to know more. She looks around at the statues falling back into motionlessness, wandering cautiously between them as she finds a small corridor-of-sorts, calling over to the other. "There might be - something like a room? It seems quite narrow, but we should fit through." And with some luck, nothing else ...

Fortunately, the other seems kind enough to indulge her sudden request - it is only pitiful that she is on travels all the time since years now, with no quiet place to settle. It makes such tea parties more a thing of chance and improvisation, without their proper protocol and etiquette. But well, she has to make-do with the life she chose, over the one that she couldn't envision for herself, simple as that. "Very well - I'm honoured," she replies with a curt nod, following the other towards the nearby picnic table that surely is host of stories itself. Perhaps she should ask one of the children what kind of adventures they had while sitting here.[break]

Carefully ensuring that her clothes wouldn't suffer from the roughed-up surface, she only hums in reply to his words. It's a self-chosen thing, really, though it's true enough - she isn't a 'writer', much less an 'author', after all. Perhaps, if the medieval terms of 'poet' would still apply, she might be one of them. But in such terms today? Not quite so. "I've been enjoying the work that comes with it, quite so," Morrighan remarks towards the other with a smile, allowing her notebook to rest on top as she brings forth a thermos flask and two enamel mugs - simple, yet somewhat carrying a sense of elegance, and soon, the pre-brewed tea's fragrance would gently linger in the air. "I'm afraid I have not heard of the lorekeepers before - what does their story entail?" she prods as she places a cup of tea in front of Josh. "It is a slightly bitter brew, but a soothing one."

Morrighan has arguably not come far on her way towards the Chatot, but she also decidedly does not want to hurry. The sun is still glistening off the waves in a playful banter, back and forth the rays are going ... so why should she hurry? Instead, it's nice to let loose for a moment, just enjoying the water as she tunes out the world by going under.
