The headache seems only to be getting stronger as time passes on, but it's still - ignorable. She has had worse during the times that she wrote on her doctoral thesis and all that, so this shouldn't quite bother her as much. Still ... it leaves her melancholic in a way, as she releases the Chatot to keep them company. "Hm? Oh - yes, you are right," she agrees with Lutgarde as she moves into action again, looking around to see what could be useful and carefully dissecting and ordering things. It gives her a sense of peace, even as it also feels like she is disrupting someone else's belongings. But why is that? It doesn't look like much anyone passes by here if ...[break]

There is the dreadful feeling, explained - a reason for the same. Pushing a finger over the surfaces, nothing stains the white fabric of her glove. "How peculiar," she can only comment with faint amusement, shaking her head. "The whole - kingdom is in ruins, and nothing reaches this place ... as if time stopped."[break]

Joining Lutgarde by the window as they are winding down on their preparations, she takes a look outside, too, a forlorn feeling clutching at her heart over the wreckage. Just what kind of war or catastrophe of a different kind prevailed this place? What is its story? But before she can muse over it for long, she notices something that stands above rust and debris. A heart that drops, and a sense of urgency that arrives. "Let me briefly check out the perimeter - would you kindly have my back?" she mentions to Lutgarde, though doesn't wait for an answer too long as she brings forth the Lunatone, nodding as it uses Psychic on its trainer to levitate it out of the window and towards that flicker of something she saw-

One could say that her attire fits little into this curious place - a stink of fish that never fades, and a busy crowd where some wear their working clothes, others are dressed in their casual Sunday outing attire, and then there is ... Morrighan, ever-dressed as if she herself just left a sort of fairytale. She probably has to deepclean this particular set of her favourite outfit later, but it's worth the goal of being dressed at any given moment.[break]

Fortunately, however, before she can muse further about her choice of clothes, she notices something approaching - and moments after, a figure seemingly levelling out of the shadows to greet her alongside a Houndstone. She momentarily leaves her seat to greet him with a small courtesy bow and a handshake. "Mr. Solokov, then? It's a pleasure to meet you," Morrighan gives the other a graceful smile, though his question raises the edges of her lips in a more amused manner. "Why, a change from the ordinary every now and then keeps the mind afresh. Now, I believe I have promised you a story of mine, in exchange for one of yours? Money does not have value for me, so I hope you've come a little prepared," she gestures towards the small table she claimed for the meanwhile, as a silent invitation to sit down also. "Oh, but why don't we try one of this market's famed beverages while we're at it?"[break]

Beyond The Way.

Such a mishap felt a little like a punch in the gut when she was usually careful of her surroundings, but there is something about the night air, perhaps, the sight of the night sky, a deeply blue sapphire reflecting its specks of cosmic dust - shallow excuses for her inattentiveness for sure, but she makes-do with the present for now. Fortunately, none of them find themselves tumbling down to the ground, but the other's hat still manages to fly off, revealing ... something nearly familiar? But she can't quite pinpoint it just then.[break]

"My apologies - are you hurt somewhere?" Morrighan asks as etiquette would demand, even though it seems like the other seems just as fine. There is just some ... out-of-it that reminds her of herself, in a way, though she doesn't dare to speculate as to why this might be. There are aplenty of reasons after all, and it would be quite a coincidence if theirs overlapped.

It feels quite fitting for the self-made, self-claimed, self-sustained storycollector to immerse herself in simulations such as this, one that veers on the border of impossible - but ever since coming to Hoenn, she has been exposed to curious sights, and it doesn't seem like such a thing is going to end quite soon. But ... that's all part of the fun in the end, not?[break]

Only that - her ears feel like bursting. Or whatever virtual version of ears she has right now - it's difficult to say what exactly is going on with such simulations. Still, she is too prideful to cover her ears, even as her partner for this ride is ... starting to scream, too. In no quiet way, either. Is this some sort of ritual? She barely understands his words over the Scream Tail's response to his screaming, but she remains perplexed. And, honestly, screaming this loudly is just so inelegant - but - fine. It doesn't seem like she will manage to convince him otherwise.[break]

"Alright, it's your responsibility, then," Morrighan manages to say calmly in between a brief moment of no screaming until she, rather unimpressingly, 'screams', "aaaaa."

To be honest, she doesn't quite know what she quite expected, but ... probably not necessarily this. Although the tales and stories painted an interesting picture to begin with, there is hesitation in accepting a bath-robed, Jiggypuff-patterned-pajama-ed person as the one she's supposed to seek out. Yet again, people come from all walks of life and what isn't a little surprise every now and then? She gives the other a graceful smile and a small nod with the head. Granted, if she really arrived at the right address. It's not like she'd be any less odd, however, dressed like she's part of a renfaire, carrying a puppet that is clad in the same way as her.[break]

"Good morning - I am looking for a certain Ms. ... Kagami, I presume?" she replies to the question with another, leaving the room open to send her off elsewhere. Or ... or she might have just hit Tauros' eye.

To the confirmation of what she has been pondering on, she gives the other a keen-eyed smile, taking a sip of her own brew before speaking, "now, then I should be thankful you were willing to try out my blend in the first place." Her words are sincere, even as there is a layer of a different kind of motive, too - in the end, the tea only served its mean to further a talk without making it too awkward, as she would have hoped. Even as the cold in his cup would now run cold, that's a small price to pay for an interesting story in exchange.[break]

"I see ... you must be a notable name across Hoenn, then? I must pardon my lack of knowledge, as I only arrived in this region an insignificant while ago," Morrighan notes in turn to his words. There are quite many interesting points to pick up, though she couldn't possibly start to flood him with a barrage of questions ~~she isn't Vespa~~, but ... still. "Mind if I take notes as we speak?" she asks before proceeding with anything. She knows that some grow uncomfortable with the notion of being recorded, though perhaps, that's a different thing altogether for someone as him.[break]

Before she inquires anything about his present, though, the past holds some more interesting stories for her - the legend of ... ah. "I've heard of it when I passed through Ecruteak City - a most wonderful city, for sure, with its heavy history. Could I possibly ask you to - well - reiterate the legend as you know it? I'd be curious to fill gaps in my own knowledge and such," she muses.

Diving up for another time, she is already nearing the shore, beckoning the Chatot over that - after a beat of hesitation - flies over. "Now, let's head home then, huh? It's been a long-enough day," Morrighan hums, looking back to the clear blue she left behind - and the clear blue she is going to cross another time. 'round and 'round ... but it will end eventually, as all things do.

However, as peaceful as the capture of the Minior has been, it wouldn't stay that way for long - soon after as Morrighan, the sun and the moon traverse the lands, they find themselves in ... well ... a literal pinch. Looking displeased about the situation, she directs the two Pokémon in battle, "Chamomile, use Confusion - Chrysanthemum, continue with a Moonblast!" Their opponent, a young and bruteish Trapinch, holds well against the onslaught of attacks, biting through the confusion until it faints still.[break]
[break]
"You're not too bad, are you? Hm ... let's see how well you will be doing," she decides with a hum, using her last safari ball to catch the Pokémon. Now, it's time to return, isn't it? Almost too bad ... she will have to come back to sketch different parts of the lands, as it seems.

Frowning upon what she found on the ground, she wonders if there is a certain pattern on the ground for it ... or if she somehow is drawn towards the same all over again. Shrugging it off, she looks moreso at the Chatot in the distance, deciding to take it a little quicker this time - still, she dives, curious to see what lies amidst the waves.
