Hunu is a very self-absorbed type of person who cares little for the rules and regulations of the Hoen's Region and their "oppressive laws". Hunu is an individual who enjoys watching people get lost in their passions. He describes this as people's "fever" burning hot. Despite his muscle head demeanor, and looks- Hunu is clever and pours his own ambitions into manipulating others. He believes people are desperate to change their lives and an easy way of directing their true self is through gambling and adrenaline. He doesn't believe there is a single person that exists without the true self and his goal is to manipulate everyone's ambition within his dream fight/night club. As they are a man who preaches that they do not need anybody else, besides coin. Living the life of taking, more than giving. The Alolan lives a life that they believe nature befits him; as he will eat when he is hungry, toy with what amuses him and harm what annoys him. He believes he is similar to that of a calamity, than that of an actual individual. Denying what they believe is destiny, and their own heritage as a means to form their own path even if it angers his own elders and those he had once worshipped. Hunu lives for the thrill, and hunt, not needing another to bring him satisfaction for he is what he only needs. Solitude does not trouble him, as he enjoys what excitement the next day can bring. Living for the thrill of coin, and "fever", Hunu willingly places themselves in unfavorable positions to experiment and see if he can make it out. Not necessarily doing things out of belief that he can, but more of a gauge to see IF he can. By life of fever and thrill, Tangaroa makes those around him arguably worse similar to that of an omen. He is a loose canon, and although he can work with others, unless your way is seen more fun or better- Hunu will outright refuse to listen and go AWOL. Still, Hunu prides themselves with their own abilities and encourages to bring forth results that would not be expected. Looking to take a moment to figure out puzzles, outside of normalcy and to encourage intendent thinking. The Polynesian is nothing but a violent, loose canon who will; pawn your goods, screw your significant others, and sacrifice you. Just to get ahead.
