The sound of an explosion ripped through the once calm sky of the city. What was once a tranquil park found itself devastated by an overturned van with people dressed in a familiar black uniform spilling out of it. As smoke rose from their van a few of them ran for the streets as a few of them were shouting at one another. Unknown to them someone had slipped out from around the wreckage and aimed a kick right into the chin of one of them sending them crumpling to the floor.

The foot belonged to none other than Pokkenger who was suddenly jumped by two of the grunts as they tried to pin the masked hero down to the floor. Unfortunately for them Pokkenger had muscles built for dealing out justice and was able to throw one of them off of him and then send a fist right into the face of the other one as he scrambled to his feet, his mask already starting to crack as he stood before the people he was chasing.

Soon the sounds of fighting slowly died down as most of the rocket grunts had taken care of and bodies littered the park knocked unconscious as Kazimir laid against a tree breathing heavily. Looking around he could see that it wasn't just grunts that went down but they had invaded a park. People looked on scared and a few police officers were scattered around when word of what was going down reached their ears. Unfortunately adding more people to this was like adding fuel to a fire, making things bigger and out of control. Now people all around them were feeling the burns from it.

As the Incineroar found itself the target of a double attack it managed to weather the focus blast with a puffed out chest. The oncoming aqua tail was a different story as even though the Incineroar used a Thunder Punch to counter it to lessen the impact the fire type still felt the weight of it behind it and was sent slamming into the ground, still conscious and growling as it rubbed its head and growled at the Scolipede.

"Y'know its never good to make assumptions about people!" Kaz's voice rang out from the smokescreen as his Dragalage came running out of the smoke on the Gengar's left flank and aiming a Dragon Pulse right at the ghost. Riding on top and holding onto its back was Kazimir who jumped off his Pokemon and made a mad dash right for Xenon looking to go for a running tackle right at the woman to try and pin her down! "Some might just surprise ya!"

"Ah. So ya know that...guy." Another friend of the ruler of this place? The sound of their voice sure didn't give off a friendly co worker vibe. More like one of someone that just puts up with a co worker. Kaz felt a little bad for the other fairy, or maybe it was just the friendly face he saw before it that gave him that feeling. Either way it was asking him what it looked like to the ginger giant so Kaz took a breath to gather his thoughts. While he himself never gave any sort of "want" to see this creature again deep down the memory of it would come up to the surface once in a while. Reminding him of a certain event that took place where the two met.

"You look like a creature belonging to a teacher of mine. They gave me and some others power after a trial with them. After that they vanished and I searched for them to learn more. Then life moved on, had other things to take care of, and I just kept the lessons they taught me as their only reminder. Still I'd very much like to see them again not gonna lie. I think I could still learn more from them."

"Well if your heading in there maybe we'll bump into each other. Or if ya need an extra hand just ring me up." Something about that place in particular was drawing him in. What it was he couldn't really say. Maybe it was just the atmosphere of the whole place, filled with spirits and regrets that just sort of reeled him in.

He couldn't be sure until he headed back in there probably. Maybe it was because he did have some regrets deep down that even he wasn't sure of. Whatever the case maybe another trip down there wasn't the worst possible idea. Plus it was a pretty scenic place, perfect for unwinding and just letting one's spirit run free. He just had to make sure it didn't run too free if previous encounters there including other "spirits" made that sound not the best.

"So this partner of yours," the curiosity of the subject got the better of him for a moment, "You got any idea where they might be? I could keep an eye out."

As the pair made their way they soon came across a bridge and a ravine that they needed to cross. The bridge itself looked sturdy enough but the more Kaz looked down below the more his stomach slowly turned on itself. Heights weren't usually something that got to him but he could swear the more he looked down the more it seemed like he himself was getting closer to the bottom, as if he was throwing himself into the ravine somehow. Maybe it was just a trick of the fairies or something, after all it could be a possibility wouldn't it?

"Just stick close, and grab onto me if you feel like your loosing your footing." He told his partner as the two of them slowly made their way across the bridge. Even if it did appear safe one could never be too careful about this sort of thing. All seemed well as they managed to get across to the end only to be stopped by another figure, this one just as small as the Alcreamie fairy but a little less familiar. Kazimir took a moment to look it up and down only to recognize that it was a Pokemon that he had met sometime ago, a Marshadow of all things.

"Well, your a sight for sore eyes. What brings ya out here?" He asked with a smile as he knelt down to meet with the creature at eye level, a sort of familiarity in his eyes as he did. He's only seen this creature once before but their meeting was so brief and filled with questions afterward that Kaz secretly hoped he would run into one. He didn't think he would run into one here of all places though, so props for this "story" to give a little fanservice. "Don't suppose you want to join us in our quest do ya buddy?"

Cain & Kaz

So Kazimir used to do a bit of wrestling in the past (i.e i did a few of that one wrestling mission multiple times lol) and that stems from him always down for a good fist fight. Its kind of a secret that he tries to keep down but sometimes he just needs an outlet to let that passion of his out and at times he's more than willing to go around the rules and do some underground fighting, hell he'll jump at breaking fight rings just for a second of action in the ring himself, so maybe he can be a familiar face around Cain's ring.

Not sure if Cain is into blackmail since Kaz is kind of well known round town due to previous status so he can hold that over his head for a bit or he can just really encourage this hobby and tries to get him into more and more fights. Heck Kaz will honestly go along with it most of the time because he loves the rush of it all.

Hell if you want we can have them have met in the ring once and Kaz annoyed Cain with his tenacity but also consider it a good quality for him in the ring.

Thomas Benoit's words were quickly drowned out by Zacian's howl as it suddenly appeared and sliced down the victorious Necorzma with its powerful blade. That single strike was enough to send both the black knight and skeleton dragon back into ultra space, well the black knight seemed in a hurry dragging the skeleton with itself into the hole. As both of them vanished the storm surrounding the world quickly came to a calm and cheers erupted from every corner of the battlefield.

"Sir! We did it! Cried out one fellow soldier to waved down the armored knight captain as he turned to his troops and simply gave them a thumbs up. A sign that everyone's work was spectacular.

Then the world ended. Everything around them suddenly became hazy and slowly heavy eyelids fluttered open as Kazimir pushed himself off the floor and into a sitting position as he crossed his legs and rubbed his eyes. It is the howl of both heroic dogs that wake him up fully as he sees them for a split second before they turn and run off into the wilderness. As he looks around and pushes himself to his feet a single step earns a soft crunch from underneath his foot. That's when he sees pieces of the ancient sword that he once saw the Zacian carry around with it, feeling a newly found affinity for blades he reaches down to pick up the few small pieces around him and as he bends down he feels something slip out of his pocket.

Looking down he sees a hilt that looks all too familiar to him but the image of it is nothing short of hazy when he tries to concentrate on the feeling. Still the ornate looking thing is his, he knows this as he reaches for it and puts it in the same pocket as his new shards, its obsidian color mixing nicely with the earthly tones of the sword fragments. "Man what a dream, hey is anyone else all right?" He calls out as he sets out on a walk of the area to try and see if anyone else was awake like he was or if they were even hurt.

there was something about the way that the palafin carried themselves that almost resonated with Kazimir. At first he thought it was their tough looking physique as some of them strutted around the sandy beaches, but upon closer inspection it was something a little more subtle. They seemed almost superhuman with the way they walked with their heads held high and their chests puffed out. It was almost like they were in a constant superhero pose standing tall.

In a way one could say that the two of them shared a bit of heroic spirit or at least the aesthetic, after all Kazimir knew a thing or two about being a masked hero around these parts. So with a grin on his face like a kid reading an exciting comic book. "Alright fellas! Let's see if we can't work up a good sweat today!" He called out as he threw the Pokeball and ran after the Pokemon as they took a moment to stop and look at the man rush them down and a few of the Palafins met him with fists and fins ready to rumble.

Dei was right about the bridge as looking ahead Kaz could see that splotches were appearing around the bridge's body as they ran. Turning his ride around one as they got closer he saw that it wasn't a spot of odd coloration on the bridge but was in fact a hole that was just tearing into existence all on its own. Looking around he could see more and more slowly pop up all around. While his heart was already racing thanks to the speed demon they were becoming it really started to pick up as the thought of falling through one of them started to attack his brain. "Pick up the pace boys! This thing ain't gonna hold on much longer!"

Reaching into one of his pockets he took out one of the aux evasions that they had packed and let out a whistle to get the Zeraora's attention called it to a quick stop for it to drink some of the toxin. Going back to running across the bridge the cat like Pokemon's reflexes seemed to be more heightened than normal as it was jumping over some of the holes on the bridge and even side stepping around ones that formed right in its path. "I think I see the end! Almost there boys! You fall off now and I'll make sure ya come back as a Gashtly!"

Hopefully he wouldn't turn into one himself as he raced across the bridge and waited for the others to cross while waving them down.

"Knight Captain!" Kazimri whirled around as he heard the sound of anguish from behind him and saw one of his knights with an Escavalier's lance driven into his chest. The knightly bug found its head caved in by Kazimir's sword as he swung down onto its head freeing his brother in arm from its grip. As the knight fell Kaz caught him and slowly laid him on the ground removing his helmet, the look in his eyes telling me that he had already been dead the moment his chest was pierced. He'd weep for many fallen comrades over the years but the look on this one struck a stronger chord with him, not only had he figured he jumped in front of attack for him but he bore the face of Balder Schwartz. A long time friend he had missed dearly in his youth before even coming here.

Seeing him here now sent a flood of emotions and memories through his head of the man that was a kindred spirit with him and taught him a few things he wouldn't forget. Now to see him like this almost felt like a role reversal between the two. "Your sacrifice won't be in vain my brother, i'll...i'll...keep everyone safe."

As he let them rest he went back into the fray with a renewed vigor channeling the rage and sorrow he was feeling into each swing of his sword. Meanwhile his Urshifu managed to break through the defenses of the Rillaboom and allowed its own comrades land their blows onto the large beast. With their combined might they made short work of it leaving everyone to view the battle above them in the sky between two titans. As they clashed with one another they soon found themselves falling to the earth and Kaz was quick to follow Necrozma's trail seeing as how the beast did gift them with the power to craft magical weapons, plus the dragon could rot for spreading the poison that was the reason they all dedicated decades of their lives to their cities. Its injuries would be considered payback for that.

As he ran towards the Black Knight he noticed people aiming to do harm to it. First was illeana reyes attacking Necromza with her spear, followed by Johanna Joy and her claydol following it, and finally but also shocking was Thomas Benoit joining in on them. "Protect Necrozma! We're ending this war but how we want it!" He called to his titan of an Urshifu as he took one squat to leap in front of where the Necrozma lay and put its arms up as a Max Guard was slowly erecting a barrier in front of it to try and take the brunt of the attacks thrown at it.

"Sounds like someone doesn't know the fun of being flung around at a hundred miles per hour." He retorted as he took cover from the oncoming attacks by hugging the wall behind him with his back. His Incineroar took a defensive stance with a bulk up to flex his muscles only for the posturing to be cut short by him being flung through some jewelry. The glass shards of their container cut into his fur and skin and only got the cat angrier as it glared at the Scolidpede and letting out a roar as it got back to its feet. On the other side of the fight the Dragalge was able to weave its slender body around the Shadow Balls thrown at it and threw a Smokescreen to create more cover for it and its teammates.

"Seriously though! You could stop with this running around like an angry Taurous! I don't want to have to do some serious harm here!" Kaz called out as he dove into the smokescreen to hide himself alongside his Dragalge while his Incineroar steered clear of it, making himself a bigger target by climbing onto a countertop and roaring at the opposing team, "Cause my buddy here doesn't know the meaning of the word restraint!"

As the world calls to battle with a loud howl Kazimir is quick to gather his men and those willing to fight and lead them in the footsteps of the regal dog as it leads them and their royals to the field of battle. As they march it comes back to Kazimir in flashes, the reason for his being here and the reason he built himself over the years. If this was "that" battle the old High King once mentioned then this was their ticket home. Could he say it was his ticket home though? He's spent so long in this other world that it felt like he was tethered by the smallest of silk ribbons to it. Would he miss it if he left?

As they approached the battlefield an army was waiting for them that stretched from nearly one end of the Wild Area to another, a daunting image but still Kazimir knew that not even that would stop them. They're cause was too important to let it stop them. "Men! Today we show this skeleton and its little puppets that Hammerlocke's finest gleam like emeralds for a reason! To show them that neither their teeth, steel, or even poison can wipe away our brilliance! Now charge!"

As he ran with the others he withdrew a Pokeball that glowed with energy from his Dynaband as it grew larger and larger in his hand. With a hefty one handed toss he threw the ball and it opened up into a large Urshifu who's whole body was glowing with Dynamax energy while it Gigantamaxed as it set its shining eyes on the Gigantamax Rillaboom and charged ahead with its fist drawn back and launched it right into the ape's drum set to break it apart with a G-MAX ONE STRIKE.

As his titan partner found his opponent Kazimir found his own in the form of one of the Toxitricity generals who lead the army of poisoned Pokemon. "Your met by the Blacked Sword Who Cuts the Night Sky, Knight Captain Pokkenger! So return back to under the wing of your master! Come, Calybur!" He drew his great sword with one arm and raised it into the sky before slamming it down at the general's feet as its Ceaseless Edge made black splinters erupt from where it struck to stab into the general and the surrounding Pokemon.
