Mirroring the masked captain skyler dross Kaz downed his drink as its flavor was as colorful as an aurora borealis if that made any lick of sense. The fruity flavor of it Still he was pretty tempted to go grab another one as soon as possible. He was stopped however by the masked patron suddenly mentioning how familiar he looked. The clue as she said seemed to be in the shape of his muscles. He was a pretty big guy, honestly there was probably only one other person as big or bigger than he was so figuring out from that should be simple enough.

However the same could be said about this mysterious pirate, after all there was someone he knew fondly of that was crazy about the sea. Although her actually dressing up the part was...a new side of her that he was exposed to tonight. "Ah well, doubt i'm the only big guy around here right? But I can easily say that someone like ya is pretty easy to remember. Think I'd remember seeing a pirate like you around, course the only girl I know that loves the sea as much as a pirate is Sky...sky...skyyy-"

His words trailed off as a Klefki holding a small twig of mistletoe hovered between the two of them. The Pokemon itself didn't seem to even realize what it was doing or what position it just put the two people under it in. That was of course...if they were to go through with it. Sure it would be against the spirit of the holiday but...but...

Skyler was a married woman. Could he really do that to his fellow fugger angelo vestri?

"Wow...talk...talk about timing. Huh?" He asked as sweat and anxiety rolled down his face as he tugged on the collar of his shirt, unsure of what his next move here would be. He could only hope that skyler dross broke him out of this.

If the answer to the question 'was opening a bag of treats around dogs a bad idea?' was that it was a bad idea, then yes it indeed was. As soon as Zev Harcourt opened the bag and he handed out a few treats to some fellow Pokemon there was one that managed to catch not only the scent but the aura of the bag as it trudged its way through the snow with a twinkle in its eye. "hey hey hey watch out!" Kaz called out to his Lucario as it shoved its way up to the man with the treats bumping into angelo vestri's snowboy in the process, probably wrecking it on accident. (forgive me.)

If kyle lopez wanted dogs then he was going to get a dog in the form of one of Kazimir's Lucarios following right behind him with a red little ball on his nose as well as an atnler headband adorning his skull as he followed behind his trainer. Why of all creatures why he was dressed as a reindeer was a question saved for the Lucario himself, as Kaz could only insist that it was the Pokemon's idea after all.

As it got to work setting up the final piece to the snowboy puzzle Kaz walked over to angelo vestri with a cup of iced coffee in hand to keep his energy up while not burning his tongue despite the cold surrounding them. As for his fellow fugger he did have a point about something, that Kaz shouldn't play favorites within these close kindred spirits. "Hey yours is coming along pretty well man! Kinda looks a bit better than Kyle's, his looks...soggy. Soggy's a way to describe something right?" No hard feelings kyle lopez.

"Do ya even need to ask? Who would turn down a nice drink?" Even if he himself wasn't much of a drinker himself he would have to imagine that they would have some really fancy drinks at a party like this. Although while he was ready to indulge her it seemed the party staff beat them to the punch as the announcement of the moving of the festivities went on.

Music started to reach the ears of the masses and Kaz couldn't help but feel the beat move his body as one of his legs started to twitch with excitement at the prospect of dancing. However what caught his full attention was the sight of a bar opening up and the timing couldn't be more perfect that he brought out in light laughter. "Looks like they read our minds! Allow me."

With that he quickly made his way over to the bar and order two drinks, one that caught his eye by the name alone and brought back two glasses back to skyler dross with a grin on his face as he offered one of the glasses of Gravedigger to her. "This one sounded pretty hard. Grrrravedigger. Guy at the bar made it sound like one with a bit of flavor."

With that he took a sip of the drink and with a hard swallow he smacked his lips and even licked them. Then he took another sip. "Oh yeah. That really-that really does have some flavor to it. Real fruity. I kinda like it."

He turned the small black orb around in his hand as he stood in one of the small labs around the league and felt its weight. It felt the same weight as your average pokeball yet the inside of it seemed to sparkle with small little crystals inside of it. Perhaps bits of those tera crystals he heard about from some of the league folks once the threat of the threat of the meteor passed? It was likely if he heard about what happened during that whole fight. Still it was a little amazing that this new power was brought to them from outer space of all places.

Luckily he was invited to be a test subject for practicing with this new power, both him and his zeraora who just stood there tilting its head at Kazimir as gripped the ball in his hand tightly. "alright. time to get to work." Holding out the orb he let the energy build up inside of it before it started to glow and he tossed it at his lightning cat. Crystals erupted from under its feet to surround it before exploding and revealing the shimmering form of the Zeraora with a giant light bulb on its head as it roared with vigor. "Ok but how do the hats form? Like...how do they even do that and why so...specific?"

So far so good. It was coming along nicely like a nice game of Pokemon Unite as he managed to gather two perfect pieces for his little snowboy. In fact speaking of Pokemon he had to wonder if he should try and shape the thing into some kind of Sawsbuck if he was able to. Maybe if he found a red enough decoration around him he could nickname it Rudolph as well. Of course he would need to go look for something round and red to do so so...guess it was time to get looking! Surely his luck wouldn't run out so quickly now right? He wanted that Sawsbuck snowboy now after all.

As he ran off to find what he needed he passed by other people building their own snowboys and noticed a few familiar faces among them. "Hey nice looking boy there fugger!" He complimented kyle lopez and his attempt at one as he ran by with his legs warming up with each step they took.

"Well I kinda get what you mean." He looked out towards the snowy plains around them and kept his gaze on the frozen forms of Pokemon who's bodies looked like nothing but shadows to him through all the snow. It really made this place seem like an eerie cemetery more than a devastated piece of land.

In the distance approached a small creature that startled the Charizard who shot off a flamethrower in its direction. From the flames emerged a Sheldon that was rolling along the snow to ease its burns only to roll into a Pokeball that Kazimir threw at it to try and ease its pain just a little bit more by putting it somewhere safe. "Well, I haven't seen it personally but I've been hearing rumors that there's some new Pokemon that are spilling out of this place. Haven't really seen any but my eyes are peeled. After all it could be fun finding one and getting chased by it."

With a smile he motioned them to follow him deeper into the icelands with nothing but the cries of a delibird echoing through the silence.

The sudden attack not only caught a Flittle off guard and left it suspected to capture by this man but it also scared off a Girafrige as it scampered deeper into the trees. Kaz just glanced towards it as his attention was brought back to the man as he mentioned his missing Houndoom. Poor fella, must be tough to lose a pooch that just likes to run off the leash. "Can't say I have and I was coming from the other direction. Maybe I just wasn't looking at her or something, but hey if ya need help I'm happy to lend a pair of eyes. Any idea what made her go off on her own?"

After eating so many appetizers his throat was starting to get a little bit dry. Too bad that all of the drinks seemed to be cordoned off or something and Kaz wasn't so desperate that he would try and get his water from the ice sculptures in the room. Yet. So now he was just wandering around the room trying to find something that he could get his mouth on to quench his ever growing thirst.

That's when he saw her.

That curvy figure.

That slim body.

All coated in silver and familiar shape as Kaz could recognize the sight of a flask being drunk by...a pirate? Was this masquerade also a costume party? If so he would have gone all out to match with his mask. Still he walked up to their side and gave a small smirk at them eying their outfit as he had to say, they at least went all out with the get up. "Take it the stuff they have here ain't that strong for ya? I don't think these kind of parties have the stuff that'll really bring a good time." It really was a surprise he didn't put two and two together that it was skyler dross standing before him.

Would a lapras be able to carry some of these across the ocean to one of his secret bases so that he could set it up as a pretty nice surprise for the Pokemon stationed there. Then he remembered that these things weren't christmas trees when they started throwing their olives at him as he dodge rolled his way out of several of them. "And to think i thought ya'll were pretty! You'd make the worse Christmas trees!" Even more olives were sent his way and he retaliated with a few Pokeballs thrown their way to try and snag one or a few of them to calm them down.

"Happy to be a personal heater." The ginger chuckled only to get a glance from his Charizard who let out a chuff at the statement. "Well...I'm sure my Charizard here doesn't mind." Meanwhile a couple of Pokemon merely passed by them only taking one look at the Charizard who scowled at them in return. That was enough to make them pick up their pace and move their feet to get them away from the dragon.

As the four of them tried to get warm Kazimir turned his head to take a good look at their surroundings and could really only see a sea of white all around them as snowflakes came down from the sky. It sure was a winter wonderland, one full of possible danger if they weren't careful. "So you see anything odd about this place? Y'know aside from how this place just...exists now. The Pokemon seem to not be that ambush happy so...we might be safe from most of them."

Wearing his Sunday best was something that wasn't too common for him but he at least took care of the clothes he used for these kind of occasions. After all getting up in a nice white suit and bowtie was easy enough. Simple clothes for a simple man and all that. Plus what topped it all off was the Incineroar mask that he wore to comply with the rules of this little party, lots of dressing up but he'd be lying if he didn't say he didn't feel spiffy in all of this. Maybe he should dress up a little bit more...nah his boys needed to breathe after all.

Making his way to through the crowd he could see that he found a table full of snacks and drinks and his stomach started to rumble. Something about seeing food at these places always did make him peckish, perhaps the atmosphere? Either way the large man made his way over to the table where he scooped up a few crackers with toppings on them and began to much on them as he made his way around the room trying to see if he could recognize anyone. Of course being able to spot them easily did go against the spirit of the ball didn't it? It was still worth a try.
