"Uh yeah, to both of those statements and questions." Kazimir replied to the man as he was busy trying to get his large Ultra Beast to calm down as it kept trying to get at Adrian by inserting himself between the two. "Sorry about that I honestly don't know what's gotten into him. He's been on edge all day today."

Suddenly the Naganadel's attention was taken by the Scolipede and the Ultra Beast gave chase to the large bug Pokemon, disappearing into the bushes as it did. Although the cries it let out as it chased down its prey were enough to put Kaz's mind at ease strangely, knowing that it wouldn't get far without him noticing at least.

"Yeah after that whole war they gave a few of us these things to handle. He...behaves for the most part. I take it you were caught up in all that or were you a lucky one that managed to stay out of the front lines?"

As skyler dross's lips leave his cheek he watches as she leaves as well going after someone she also recognizes and leaves. For a second Kazimir stood there a little dumbfounded for a moment with his hand on his cheek before snapping back to reality. Looking around it seemed like the crowd was starting to separate into smaller groups leaving him on his own so he decided to just go to the one place in here where it was easy to just slip into a group. The bar.

Making a beeline like the polar express making its way to the north pole squeezing his way through the crowd. A few of them got a face full of his chest however as his size didn't make it any easy to get to his destination so it was a surprise to find the bar almost empty of any patrons save for a couple made up of FERNANDO SILPH and freya morningstar that was sitting with one another and he hoped they wouldn't mind another person joining them as he took a seat for himself an ordered another Gravedigger.

As he did he overheard the masked Silph mention how the party was a nice change of pace and the words were already leaving Kaz's mouth before he realized it. "After all that happened so far? You bet it is."

Something about public speaking always got under Kazimir's skin much more than the injustice of the world. Perhaps it was a more personal thing. Either way the smell of pizza alone was enough to calm his nerves as the podcast started up and he and Josh Devlin were asked a set of questions.

While Josh went on about his new business venture and journey learning about being a Gym Leader Kazimir was asked about something that he thought about in a long while. Just thinking about it shot a hint of embarrassment through his body that formed into a blush on his face. "Ah well that's been kinda low on the priority list if I'm being honest. Heck there's so many new gyms showing up now that I wouldn't even know where to start! Heck I might just take on Joshy's challenge after this just to get myself started. If that's alright with you?"

He still wore a grin on his face but it was also mixed with some more confidence now, he was probably considered one of the top trainers around under the elite four and that was something he needed to be proud of after all. Soon that confident smile of his made itself known to Derek, "Or maybe I'll take on yours since we're already here D. How's things over in your gym treating you now that things have gotten a little normal nowadays?"

Like little snowflakes the tiny mouses were scurrying about the field with one another. Or was it pairs? Or families? It was a little strange to see some with basically tiny versions of themselves but that still didn't deter Kaz from focusing on his mission. At the end of the day it was probably just some kind of odd form of theirs after all. Whipping out a belt full of empty balls he started to hurl as many as he could in the hopes that he could catch them. If they were anything like a Magneton then maybe hitting just one mouse will net him a whole bunch of them!

Honestly he could be figure skating right about now but the chance to cut down his own tree was too rich to pass up.

Coming in with his own axe Kazimir took his time to pick out the perfect tree for himself. The right height and the right amount of bushiness for maximum decoration space was a must on Christmas after all. For a while it seemed like he wouldn't find the right one and was ready to try and just chop down until he noticed a familiar face, maybe even two? "Yo fellas! Enjoying a good workout today are ya?" He called out to DEREK HOFFMAN and ollie morales while waving his large axe around like it weighed nothing as he almost ran up right to them like an excited Rockruff.

Thanks to a little luck and some help from the judges as models his perfect snowboy was...perfect again! As he placed the last piece of it with the others and started to set it up he noticed that the snow around him was thinning out a little bit. That could be bad if he was sabotaged again by those jealous of his little boy. Luckily he had on hand the perfect 'mon to help with this and let out a Castform. Pointing up to the sky the little weather cloud used Blizzard to not only kick up some extra snow for Kaz to use in reserve but to also maybe make it a bit colder for the other contestants and slow them down a little bit.

The ginger beast raised an eyebrow at her before turning around to see the Octerilly on his butt and let out a yelp as he turned around to try and shake it off exposing it to Skyler's Pokeball. Once it was off of his butt he let out a sigh of relief and leaned against the railing as he caught his breath. "Yeah...something like that. What with all the new Pokemon showing up I was kinda interested in see what might show up in the deep blue y'know?" He was lucky he wasn't a Litten otherwise that curiosity would sink him like an iceberg sinking a ship.

From the water his Blastoise rose up from the depths again with a strange stone rock on its back as it showed off is successful hunt from deep in the waters as the rock started to open its slit eyes. Kaz just casually dropped a ball onto the Solrock and watched the ball float about in the water before turning his attention back to the captain with his usual grin.

"What about you? Not trying to find any hidden treasure again I take it? I have heard a bunch of crystals broke off from that meteor and landed all over the place. Those outta fetch a pretty poke right?"

As their fists met one another the two of them took a moment to catch their breath as they smirked at one another. That smirk soon faded as the sound of their breathing was overshadowed by the sound of clinking metal as a blue light shined within the fog around the graves and a metallic humanoid sauntered into view and stared down the pair with blue eyes. The pair could only blink before it rushed at them with an arm raised up high that morphed into a blue flaming sword that cut the space between them.

"Domon!" Without any other instruction the Urshifu rushed in and aimed a wicked blow at the walking set of armor and knocked it over as Kazimir took out a Pokeball and rushed at the strange being. With a yell he slammed the Pokeball into the armor's head and watched as it was sucked up inside and made the ball wobble with its struggles. A single beat of sweat came down his face and landed on the ball as it did.

While Adrian came from beneath the trees a purple beast came from above the trees. At first it slowly only drifted between the different tree tops like some sort of lost balloon but once it saw the sight of Adrian something in its mind turned on. A sort of predatory instinct as the purple dragon licked its lips and floated down towards the man with its wings beating off branches letting out a hiss as it raised its large needle aimed right at Adrian's face. It jerked forward until a snap of the fingers caused it to stop and it looked back at the large red head emerging from the bushes looking flushed. "Arceus-dammit Tox don't go wander off like that-huh? Aw shit sorry man this guy just kinda got away from me, hope he didn't scare ya." the ginger said with the most apologetic look on his face as he clasped his hands together.

What started as a simple look into the damages at Mt. Pyre turned into an impromptu sparring match between Kazimir and his Urshifu. They did their best to not step onto the graves of those surrounding them but if there was a sound that could wake the dead it would be the grunts and yells of the two of them as they went at each other full force. Neither of them really did any holding back when it came to this sort of ritual of theirs even though the large martial arts bear was designed by nature itself to be much more durable and stronger than his trainer. Still Kaz liked to pride himself in the fact that his body could at least catch up to the Urshifu's level in some minuscule way as it only meant that he still had higher peaks to reach.

As his fugger of a betrayer was busy waging bets with others Kaz was hard at work rebuilding his precious snowboy. Luckily for him only one part of it was really damaged so it wouldn't take much to fix it, he just had to make sure that he did it right. That's when he looked over and noticed the Darmanatin rolling around in the snow and he couldn't help but mimic their rolling with the ball of snow in his hand and almost shaped it like one of them. Maybe doing so will make it look even better than the last top part he lost.

"Hey I can dig that. I'm sure some Pokemon can find a nice home in this big winter wonderland but I bet others would rather find someplace with a little less...uh...dreary." It was hard not to mention the same feeling he had about this place. Lots of loss happened here indeed and while the two of them could probably find a new home for some of the Pokemon either displaced or confused by this sudden change there was some that he knew that they would probably never be able to help. It didn't help that as they walked they managed to pass by one such creature, trapped in the ice as a Magneton floated around it picking at the ice.

Maybe it was the connection between trainer and Pokemon or perhaps he found it offensive as well but Scorcher was quick to kick up some scorching sands at the metal trio to scramble its eyes while Kaz threw a Pokeball at it. This place sure didn't need trouble makers around here that was for sure. "Still...we gotta do something to help these poor guys. Even if all we can do is just get them out of the ice."

His eyes and words were trained on the Pokemon trapped in the ice as he tried to imagine what it would rather have been doing than this. Battling perhaps? Enjoying a nice treat? Maybe even playing in the snow with its friends or family, maybe even a Trainer like playing with a toy sled or a bouncing ball both of which were probably more fun than this fate. "Really hope we can find a way fast. This is just too sad."
