The way the small, friendly lizard utterly devoured the egg both pleased and grossed the pink pokemon out. still, her small hands clapped together in a pleased manner - how could she not be when he had so kindly accepted her gift. "No, no, nothing needed in return! i love giving out gifts!" she frantically explained. once again, the chansey leaned over to pat the stuffed electric type on the head a few times, trying to stop herself from growing teary eyed once more as he exclaimed that they were friends. would her trainer be happy that she had a friend? had she done good?!

"peach! i'm peach!" she sniffled slightly, using her nubby arms to rub at her eyes. "do you miss your trainer? aren't you sad that hey left us here? what if they never come back? are we stuck here?!" all at once, she began to unload onto her new friend, as well as began to cry once again. 

"huh?!" the sudden flash of fire utterly shocked the munching dragon, who looked bewildered for a moment. he looked back and forth, glowering down at the young pokemon surrounding the tree - none of them had wings, so who-? slowly, his head followed the dying trail of embers from the bold attack, and finally, his stare rested on the young, fiery bird that sat within the tree...and with some of his food at that. there was a clear look of sheer annoyance in his large eyes, his large wings vibrating against his body as they fluttered, a clear indication that he was irritated. seriously - who did she think she was? if she wanted a fight, fine! but...ugh, at the same time, fighting took so much energy. energy that could be used for eating. This was...such a drag.

And so, the lazy dragon, surprisingly, didn't accept this challenge. Nope, he didn't have time for that. Instead, his wings vibrated harshly, and from thin air, sand stirred, surrounding the tree in a thick sandstorm. To him, this sort of weather was perfect. sand in his food? delicious. to others though, like that annoying, pesky bird? hopefully, it'd keep her out. pleased with his brilliant thinking, the dragon bug began to gorge himself on what remained of his food once more. "no more pesky birds, no more pesky birds!" he chanted to himself. 

thankfully, no one was hurt from her dragon's admittedly reckless move. although, she felt the very mild sting of the plastic sword being swung down on her head. "Hey-!" She protested with a little hiss, before sheepishly smiling as she was, rightfully, yelled at. "he just really doesn't...like you. and when a dragon really doesn't like someone, its hard to just 'reign them in'. plus you got him all hyped up with the whole 'evil dragon' thing," the pinkette half complained and half whined. seriously, even now, the hydreigon looked extremely pleased at his work. it was just...in his nature to be destructive. unfortunately, these people weren't the civilians of blackthorn, who were used to the occasional fire or burned down house, or the naturally destructive tendencies of their scaled inhabitants.

still, the pinkette whipped her head around to stare up at the dark dragon through the settling dust and scored earth. no words were exchanged, but, she knew that he felt her emotions greater than any other, as did she his own. there was no command, nor even a shout of warning. the hydreigon silently lowered to the ground, still growling quietly, but, seeming to have settled down, if just slightly. 'My little baby-ah, no, don't coddle him,' she shook her head, focusing back onto Adam and clearing her throat to speak louder.

"ack! that strike was foul, sir knight! but, you shall not best me!" she raised her own sword, striking back at the man with a bit more force than she intended. perhaps she was still a tiny upset that he had actually hit her. maybe just a little.

her hydreigon, in the meanwhile, settled onto something far less destructive. he glanced at his trainer one last time - gave adam a very pointed look, before his neck extended towards Soul, the teeth on both his hands and face glowing as he prepared a crunch. the attack was significantly slow though...it seemed that he was actually playing along. 

She actually wasn't expecting anyone to step up to the challenge. And so, when a valiantly dressed man did, noelle's interest was thoroughly perked. She leaned forward, eyes narrowing and the excitement of her thumping heart growing faster and faster. Who were her 'foe' be-

....Adam?!

She nearly choked out, losing her balance and very nearly falling off of Nero, had he not used one of his head-shaped arms to balance her. She gave the man a look that screamed, 'what're you doing here,' but, it seemed as though he wasn't dismayed by her appearance. In fact, he kept on going with his act in an almost admirable fashion. Slightly determined by his own acting and display, she quickly decided to keep the 'very wrong' story and show going. After all, the show must go on!

But...what would a villain say?....Ugh, she watched too many of those crappy romance movies, all she knew were stupid pickup lines...Think, think!

"Your head will make a perfect mount on the wall of my new kingdom." The words were surprisingly chilling, coming from the usually bubbly girl, as the sinister sneer she bore looked far too real. Nero himself looked utterly...terrifying. Especially as he leered at Adam with such an intense hatred, you'd think it was real. Or, maybe it was. He seemed to always dislike the man, for one reason or another. Drool dripped from the destructive dragon's jaws as he let out a feral snarl. The dark dragon lowered to the ground, letting the woman get off, if just so she could point at Adam. "Go forth, my child! Kill every last one of them!"

Light pooled in the Hydreigon's throat before a massive shock wave emitted from both the mouths on his hands and his own mouth. The terrible shockwave traveled far, with an explosion trailing after it as it touched the ground, splitting the earth into two. Noelle sent her pokemon a sharp glower - she didn't mean it literally.

"Come, o' knight!" She grasped a faked sword that'd been blown her direction, nearly dropping it, but, somehow pulling it off rather smoothly in pointing it towards him. 

she...didn't take very well to that.

the pinkette sputtered, nearly falling off of the bed completely. "f-funeral!?" she gasped out. were they really in that sort of trouble? no, no, they couldn't be. mateo was dumb and an idiot and completely irresponsible for bringing bryony of all people with him, but, she still respected and acknowledged his strength. he'd keep both himself and bry safe. 'he'd better,' the woman thought grumpily to herself. "kyle, stop being over dramatic," she complained, and rather hypocritically at that. she failed to notice his choker situation until he abruptly stated his offer.

"h-huh? really, you'd...let me come with you?" in a matter of moments, noelle was tearing up, sniffling and everything. completely oblivious to his growing frustrations with the stuck choker, she continued to grow more and more emotional. "s-seriously? a little adventure with just us...i...yes! let's do it!" without blinking an eye, she'd sprung up, launching herself at the man into a hug. well, it was more so like she was clinging to him, but, it was a hug nonetheless. "it'll be way better than their stupid adventure, right?" she didn't let go just yet, as her expression briefly faltered, and her grip tightened.

"....we're not searching for dead people, are we?" 

"is there really some big, scary monster down here? all i see is...rocks. rocks - and oh, get this, more rocks!" she'd been walking for what felt like hours in this dark hell hole, and she was over it. the whole 'mega stone' rush wasn't something she was interested in, but, when the local miners began to pass rumors about some scary 'monster pokemon' lingering in the depths of the cave, now that caught the dragon priestess' attention. she wasn't scared of any monster - or at least that was what she told herself. she played with dragons when she could barely walk - really, what more was there to be afraid of?

still, as noelle told herself this, there was...the slightest, tiniest tinge of wondering in the back of her mind that, maybe, she should've brought someone else along. maybe she should've heeded their warnings and brought another person along in this request like the miners had suggested. what if she got caved in? injured? would anyone even notice she was gone? those thoughts only grew the more she wandered about down here, potentially lost, and searched for this so called 'monster'.

"this is hopeless," she muttered to herself with a groan. however, just as she rounded the corner of this endless, dark maze, she heard the sound of steps. the slightest kick of pebbles and the sound of breathing. it'd been deathly silent in this cavern for what felt like forever, and so, of course, noelle naturally flipped the fuck out. with a high-pitched yelp, she reared an arm back, balled her hand, and swung. 

there was an incomprehensible mutter from her as he questioned the note, the woman's face was still buried in mateo's drawers and shuffling through the items in them. however, she pulls her head out to stare at kyle with an agreeing look. "right? seriously, what was he thinking?! ah, do you think she remembered to take her medicine with her!?" the usually nonchalant, 'go with the flow' woman sounded quite concerned and motherly as her brows furrowed. "i'm gonna punch him. that idiot," she huffed irritably. maybe she should try calling her? but, would they even get service all the way out in arceus' knows where? another irritated sigh left the girls lips as she drew a hand through her hair.

his questions makes her pause.

a small part of her wants to say yes, and for a moment, it shows in her eyes as she gives kyle an almost hopeful look. at the same time though, she collapsed onto mateo's bed with yet another huff. "why should we?" she stubbornly stated, "...do you think we should? do you think they're in trouble?" she usually had a pretty good feeling on this type of stuff. 'priestess powers' was what she called it. but, she felt nothing but...numbness.

"maybe we should do somethin' together? like, go get ice cream or something. who needs them?" she mused aloud, draping the upper half of her body off of the bed so her head nearly touched the floor.

Finally, finally, they'd come across it. The sight of a pink fluff of fur inspecting a bush nearly made the girl screech. She'd found it. Telling Odessa to wait, she approached the buneary, unable to help but marvel at how utterly adorable it was. What she didn't expect was this thing to be feisty though. The moment it spotted the trainer, the normal type was on full defensive mode. It wasted no time in launching a powerful leg at her in an abrupt jump kick. But, Noelle was ready.

A finger tapped the red and white sphere on her hip as she dodged to the side, a light revealing her drapion. his long, deadly tail swayed too and fro, lashing and extending out to catch the buneary by the ear. in that instant, his tail reared back to slam the creature to the ground. "easy there, buddy," she told the savage purple scorpion, who merely scoffed. Held to the ground tightly underneath the drapion's tail pincers, the buneary could do little more than struggle, especially when those sharp claws squeezed tightly around its body in a glowing, sickly cross poison.

the fight was futile and already won, but, the little bunny seemed determined to keep on fighting, as its ear glowed in a colorful light, and a series of dizzy punches assaulted the far larger pokemon. drapion grunted, more so annoyed by the wild pokemon's fighting spirit. digging its tail pincers into the buneary, he lifted it once more, slamming its body back onto the ground with his tail. when the dust cleared, the buneary had fainted from the assault of powerful attacks. holding her breath, the girl soon tossed out a sole safari ball at it.

The good thing about having her garchomp out, was that not only was the dragon a fearsome fighter, but, a wonderful tracker. Likely due to her predatory nature, her garchomp's senses were acute and sharp. And in no time, had tracked down their next victim. An iron tail completely tore the tree in half, sending the swadloon falling from out of it in shock. it tried to retaliate with a string shot, to escape from the psychopathic dragon, but, a fire fang crunched down onto its leafy arms, dragging it back to the ground with a 'thud'. Not at all fazed by the naturally savage nature of her dragon, she instead tossed a sports ball at their fallen foe. 

"Burn everything down!" Stone frozen by icy winds and earth scorched by hot flame, the three-headed beast let out a savage roar, a tri attack utterly wrecking the make-shift castle whilst people in the audience screamed at the sheer...destruction. Reenacting popular stories from tales of the old was a popular sport at the Rena-Festival, and so, of course, Noelle jumped at the opportunity to do so.

However, hearing the story they planned on showing this time, a princess kidnapped and saved from dragons, sounded so...boring. So dry. What would dragons even do with a princess? Eat her? Gross! It was time to give some of these hoenn inhabits a bit of culture, and share some bedtime stories from Blackthorn. Not of stupid princesses and heroic knights, but, of dragons led by princesses, who conquered kingdom after kingdom! Didn't that sound way more exciting?

"M-Ma'am, that's not how the stories supposed to go-"
"Huh? But that story's dumb, this is so much funner!" Teeth bore into a wide grin from where the priestess sat atop the back of her hydreigon, feet kicking along in an idle fashion. "Let's give the kids something to remember!" The attendant paled, stumbling backwards when one of Nero's mouthed hands snapped directly in front of his face. Could no one stop this mad woman from ruining their fair? Why did the dragon clan have to ruin everything?

"Send me your strongest knight, hehe!" She stood up on hydreigon's back, even as he maneuvered through the air in an astonishing sight of trust and balance. All three heads looked up at the sky, beams of fire, ice and lightning shooting from their jaws. "Otherwise, I'll claim this kingdom in the name of the Hundred Devo-" Oop, she probably shouldn't put her family's name on blast like that, should she? Least they'd know who to send the bill for damages to, "uh the...Lopez Clan!"

Vibrava was in that 'teenager' stage, definitely. with a nasty habit of eating any and everything, he also had a pretty bad attitude for the otherwise simple 'bug' like dragon. a bit annoyed at being left behind at the daycare, he quickly took advantage of the situation in the form of swiping everyone's lunch. using his ability to fly to his advantage, the dragon/ground type had cooped himself up in the branches of a tree in the daycare's yard, hoarding a plethora of food in its branches. from berries to specially made sweets, he had successfully swiped pretty much everyone's food packed for them by their trainers from the kitchen. and he had no intention on coming down.

the pink pokemon's sniffling seems to lessen a bit when she notices she was being hugged. being the overly cuddly pokemon she was, she sucked up the gesture like a sponge, wasting no time in hugging the lizard back. her sobbing, thankfully, stopped, as she instead gave little sniffles and hiccups. "new friend?" peach sniffled, "h-hi new friend!" she gave the smaller creature a few careful pats on the head. like any of her species, she was very quick to abruptly offer out the little, nutrish and soft egg in her pouch. "want to take a bite? it's very sweet, very good! i only let my friends eat it! but, it's okay, because, we're friends!" her logic, while simple, wasn't exactly wrong. she didn't wait for him to say yes or no, as she placed the little item on the ground for him.
