it was just a logical guess on his end. cadis had a natural affinity toward understanding something pretty quick. if anyone was the genius here it was eva. "becoming a breeder? there's not a lot of excitement in that." besides, there was also his feelings toward pokemon. "perhaps if i saw pokemon within a different light it'd be possible, but with my current state of mind it would be nothing more than a wasted profession on me." he'd find someway to sell these creatures on the black market. "i'm a dangerous man, i don't get to have such a right to see pokemon in any other light than servants."

"if that's the case shouldn't we use some sort of aroma to make them calm? like aromatherapy for instance?" to cadis it seemed like the most logical to tame a wild beast. "some form of aphrodisiac should help." eva truly was a woman of many talents. it was as if each new interaction warranted a new lesson from the woman. "either way, professor dumont, you sure have a talent for breeding. perhaps this could have been your calling in another life." cadis chuckled.

"oh, really? how disappointing." he was secretly wanting to ask for an autograph. but he didn't wish to be anymore of a bother. "sorry about that, i'm dawn grandier. the new gym trainer of cait alfric, i have to go now or else she'll scold me for running late!" as he was off, he'd say, "i hope we can talk some more again, pokenger girl! bye fernando!"

"if you need me to get them in line, you can always ask." he'd no interest in how they mated, but he was simply here to observe the professor's work. "pangoro are quite the intriguing pokemon. well-known for their violence, who would've thought they could actually mate with each other." one would think at first glance the species despised one another. but cads clearly had a lot to learn, "i didn't peg you to have the experiences of a pokemon center nurse."

"ah, i didn't notice you! haha, sorry, i'm so on the go i don't even look ahead of me." a light knock on his noggin, he'd let out a small chuckle. "ah, the pangoro!" he hadn't seen one of these pokemon in so long. "how slothful they're being. not unusual, but...they haven't been mating? there must be a reason." he'd turn toward adrian, wondering if he had an observation of his own, "maybe it's something in their diet? it wouldn't be unusual for the source and cause to be because of nutrients or change in their meal."

a hand was brought to the tip of his chin. "though that's just one of many possible theories." he didn't want to get too far offtrack. "pangoro's are usually quite the fighters with their significant other as a way to show their love, but these two..." they were quite the pair.

"you just order me around and i'll follow, comrade." he'd done just as he was requested. assisting the confectioner without scowl or displeasure, he wore a jovial expression whilst humming a tune. "i'm dawn, it's nice to meet you adrian!" in the midst conducting his assignment given to him by adrian, he'd come to receive a text from cait.

looking at his device, he'd return it to his pocket. "so are you volunteering or are you an actual confectioner? you seem so into your work i didn't wanna break your concentration, but then you had this weird expression on your face." he'd attempt to mimic it but it just wasn't working. "anyway, you seem tense so i just wanted to help you take a load off before heading out."

"pangoros are interesting creatures!" dawn came in with a desire to answer quickly ad efficiently. "each one is different. it's possible the female may be unhappy with the male, why? that's what we need to figure out." pokemon were strange creatures when it came to romance, but dawn was fascinated with this job. "the name,s dawn grandier, i was sent by cait alfric. she won't be able to attend, but as her gym trainer i am well equipped."

there were a plethora of reasons for the pangoro's personality. dawn, at the moment, had one theory. but he wanted to wait before uttering it. "let's get introductions out of the way and meet our big new friends."

"a penny for your thoughts!" a jovial dawn asked, yet greeted, the dazed male. he'd just entered the scenery without a second thought. "you seem to be struggling, are you here as a gym trainer or someone makin' sweets for their love interest?" dawn asked. he was here on behalf of cait and was near to completion of his dessert. soon he'd be able to go home, but it didn't look as if he'd be leaving anytime soon.

that's right, the person standing before him caught his interest. he wanted to know what exactly was the special occasion. "is it for a lover? you seem to be workin' real hard." it was then he'd offer the next, "let me help you out, friend!"

returning to his seat. he'd come to meet the redheaded scientist with laughter, "ah, miss eva you sure know how to make one blush." cadis chuckled. with claps and cheers winding, he'd come to order the pair an alcoholic beverage. "i'm sure you'll surprise me someday too. i'm sure there's more to you than meets the eye." with a gaze fixed upon eva, he'd add, "i believe that every member of rocket is the protagonist of my story in some way, you all have a lot to give. everyday i look forward to seeing what you lot will present me."

"you've done your homework." cadis was well aware of what pokemon laid here. after all, he was the 'gym trainer', under his guise as 'dawn grandier', of the gym lader of mauville, cait alfric. "though, you've been slightly careless, professor merlino." there were pokemon that resided her, luckily they were back with cait in the gym due to her medical prowess being in great need of service. many of her pokemon were needed in order to assist in the healing of some recently injured civilians and pokemon from the recent festival incidnet.

"this place is under cait alfric's control, the gym leader of mauville. the next time you come here, should you come on your own, be sure to scope the area out. it'd be troublesome if our recent recruit were captured, i'd hate to abandon such a fine mind so early." a hand was placed upon the knowledgeable professor's shoulder. "nonetheless, you did very well all on your own. i do hope to see great things from you, my comrade." he'd come to walk past the professor, uttering the next, "let's keep going, shall we? we're bound to find the components we're in need of."
