it was time to go for another. once more he'd ready his line and send it flying. awaiting for a bite. once he felt something snip, he'd take hold within reeling it in.

dawn stared at the brazen man, @bronze . then he stared back toward kyle lopez who had rejected him and saw his words, spoken from a genuine heart, as patronizing. dawn dropped his handheld electronic fan. he'd look back toward lenora gray , with eyes resembling that of a puppy, as natu simply remained perched atop of his head.

tears began to well-up beneath his eye sockets. was it his fault? did he say something cruel?! had he been too patronizing?! he continued to stare lenora gray , until, when suddenly, he busted into a hysterical cry. running into lenora gray 's arms and clinging to her shoulders. "i-i'm an awful member! eviscerate me, execute me, i deserve to be put up on a stake and burned to death like the disgusting human being that i am!" releasing lenora, he'd turn to face @bronze and kyle lopez .

he'd prostrate himself and, then, quickly began to slam his covered forehead into the ground repeatedly. "forgive my impudance! i'm a disgrace, an oaf, i have no right to speak such a way to the unsullied!" this was dawn. he was an eccentric. though he had his moment of being levelheaded, he was, in fact, not very confident outside when it came to public interaction outside of contests. he had moments where he was clumsy, mild mannered, eccentric, and a bit of a scaredy cat. but, when on stage, he had a sudden...tone about him. as rocket boss? well, that was something left to be discovered by outsiders.

he continued to repent and beg for forgiveness. going as so far to cling to kyle lopez 's mightyena soon after, "forgive me, mightyena!!" hugging it tightly without warning. all while dawn's natu, then, flew off the top of dawn's head and landed upon @bronze 's shoulder. simply staring straight ahead and ignoring their surrounding.

"the one thing i hate most is letting down others!" he cried aloud. but then, wait, he noticed natu was gone for his head felt lighter. he'd shout, his hands clasped upon his head screaming in wonder as to where his pokemon went. looking left, looking right, he'd suddenly fall upon his back, briefly unconscious. "i'm such a bad t-trainer, not even my pokemon wish to be with me. n-natu, where are you..." the sun beamed down from above as he looked into the sky. all he saw was a bright light, "ah, god. is that you? i'm ready to ascend. i have no place in this world. i lost my natu, i've belittled strangers (kyle lopez ), and i've disappointed an elder (@bronze ). i even let lenora gray down, i have no place in this world. please, kill me." what an overdramatic man he could be.

"haaaah~" charcoal hair, once laid over a white forehead cover, was being blown by man-made winds. a face buried within an electronic fan, a male exited the 'palace' with which they were to protect from any form of invaders. dawn had been too enthralled by the cool breeze to worry about invaders. a natu, with a frozen stare, casually rested atop of the male's shuffling hair.

he hadn't expected any visitors until the moment he exited his castle. before him stood lenora gray , currently arguing with what looked to have been an enemy from...the huntail group? or so he assumed from the blue scarf tied around his bicep. "oooh, this looks like fun!" dawn uttered with a gentle tone. he made his way to the small group with the electric handheld fan in the palm of his right hand. donning beige sandals upon his feet, he'd go to greet the invaders--natu remained atop of his head.

"now, now all," he entered with a casual entrance and welcoming smile, "let's not be so negative toward one another." a hand was propped upon lenora gray 's shoulder, it was his left. with a soft touch he'd bring her back a little, gently, "i like your enthusiasm. you truly have a spirit the past participants of this event would've enjoyed having around." turning toward the mightyena, dawn would say, "your mightyena looks quite strong. as a matter of fact, he looks greatly healthy and well taken care of. i'm sure he could knock this tower down with just a simple tackle." once he was done speaking to kyle lopez .

he'd turn toward @bronze , "i apologize for the trouble they must have caused you. you must know how it can be when one allows their excitement to take over. though his expression may come off as negative, it could also be interpreted within a positive manner--such as excitement, right?" his head, once more, craned toward kyle lopez . a simple smile given.

"if you'd like to battle, i wouldn't mind being your opponent. allow me to help with that excitement!" dawn offered, or so he would if they weren't interrupted.

note: tl;dr cadis has entered. of course, to those not rocket, he's simply known as dawn grandier, a well-known coordinator; you can know him already or not to save introduction, but either or is fine! to those who are rocket, you should know already what to, and not to, call him in public. but he's entered, is trying to mend the situation with a natu sitting atop of his hand. he's holding an electric handheld fan right now. offered kyle a battle.

inside of the casino there is a lair hidden within. unknown to the public, barely to even some of rocket. this is their base of operations, this is their headquarters. casually there within his civilian guise is none other than the head of rocket himself.

an assortment of computers and grunts were hard at work. typing away at the data they obtained from rockets past venture. "i want to uncover what the league could not." a hand was placed gently upon a metallic table before him. cadis, leaning in, said, "i want to be the first to uncover the truth." from the corner of his eye there stood a woman of melanin pigment, beside her a blonde female companion.

SUN-SUN + LUNA

"sun-sun, luna..." cadis called. the blonde, referred to as sun-sun, would ask, "what is it, like, you want to know?!" a bubbly tone rang. luna, following up, added, within a monotonous timbre, "and what do you wish to do with it?" the girls clung to one another. hand-in-hand in wait of an answer.

a gaze sat, briefly, upon the corner of his eye. only to look straight ahead after the initial questions given. "everything." a smile was thrown their way as he'd look over his head turning fully to face them. "and anything..." walking toward the women, he'd place a hand atop of their heads, "for instance, a nice bargaining tool with aether foundation. i'm sure they'd enjoy learning what we've uncovered, perhaps maybe even created if we come to understand the components." which is why he's leaving that within the hands of his scientists.

walking back to the table once more. cadis would make a request, "sun-sun, luna...would you two mind fetching me some more hands?" ordering them to bring SOME ROCKET MEMBERS to the hidden lab. they'd merrily be on their way to go fetch some operatives.

"out of the way!" shoving a random teammate to the side. mateo knew something fishy was going on! he'd come to pass @bronze and stand in front of the duo to grace their stronghold. arms crossed, one could see that, underneath the morning son, he donned a blue cape that represented his team color. was seen fluttering upon his back. underneath the cape mateo was shirtless upon the top-half, his bottom wear involved a pair of beige cotton beach shorts. since they were within a sandy field, he had no reason to adorn footwear. [break][break]

mateo wasn't a happy camper. it showed upon his face in the form of a scowl. "i knew you were the goddamn devil's hellhound when i first met you, to force @bryony to do this!" he'd fiercely point toward kyle lopez , "unforgivable, you goddamn mutt, idjit!" he knew he shouldn't have taken his eyes off of her. "i'm sorry, bryony..." he'd clench his teeth, his head shifting to the side. unable to look at the corruption done to her, "you're far from saving, so..." removing his right hand from underneath his cape, he'd come to reveal a bracelet with six ball capsules upon it.

plucking one capsule from it. he'd come to the toss enlarge the ball with the press of a button and tossed it into the air. emerging from the flash of white light was none other than HAKAMO-O. a deep breath was taken in, he was able to look at @bryony once more; though, this time, it was with a piercing gaze. "we're enemies and if you take one step forward, this will be a declaration of war! turn back now!" he forewarned.

as DAWN GRANDIER he is a simple coordinator who was gifted the moniker 'twilight'. is praised by many and renowned for his coordinating prowess. is known for leaving during the final round within a contest.

his character as an individual who has a "cautious" air to him, but the kindness and gentle touch of a father figure. has never seen cadis exhibit a displeasure or sour look. have known him to be of an oddball, but are aware of the heinous nature behind the facade he portrays before them all.
he's, currently, the new rocket boss.

those who left rocket are currently being pursued due to possessing abilities he, not rocket, will personally need/want. though they cannot rejoin, he'd be happy to employ them of his own volition. money is no object and he will find/has found need for some of them. there are some he's willing to save, but there are those dominic sinclair and @desmond wish to be disposed of. he cannot undermine his advisers wishes. although, unless you have substantial usability, he'll gladly do his best to procure no further attempts upon your life. because he's a nice man who values talent, even talent that the many cannot see.

has an illness he is soon to succumb to, it is unknown when. could be months, years, days.
is searching for the jewel of life. longs for immortality. holds a desire to, also, meet "the original one".
his goals are to find out as much as possible about humans, pokemon, too, included. he wants to see the many sides to humanity: hope, despair. he's searching for that one person to show him what it means to be human, for they will be the deciding factor on what he does in the end once he acquires [REDACTED].
though it is known to dominic sinclair and @desmond , he's currently spending his time as a member of the league. planning to become a gym trainer to one of the gym leaders or assistant to dahlia goode . this is so that he may, properly, get closer to AETHER FOUNDATION as well as learn about the respective leaders, elites, and councilmen of hoenn. he wants to learn about them, understand them, as well as judge them. they all capture his curiosity, he simply wants to obtain his personal views of them.

after the successful creation of genesect and rocket remnants unveiling. cadis' illness overtook him and has made the boss bedridden since february and throughout march. with circe crowley serving as temporary head and appointing Cillian Quinn as underboss, per cadis's orders, cadis has entrusted Eva Dumont into his care while Cillian Quinn and circe crowley temporarily lead rocket.
as Eva Dumont conducts medical research into cadis' illness. he has slowly been recovering with her help, yet still remains weak at this time. he is able to visit his garden, with Eva Dumont acting as his aid and caretaker, and comes to discover an UNNATURAL POKEMON in his garden. the floette, tethering itself to cadis, came to notice his weakened and frail state. the floette thought cadis, a human, to be no different from a wilting flower. so, with unexplainable power, it would offer to help restore cadis' health, though only temporary. like a wilting flower floette would offer cadis the eternal flower. at first he did not understand, but with Eva Dumont's deduction, she explained how certain flowers were well-known to possess healing properties and were consumable. cadis saw this as a simple gesture of good will as the floette, only wishing to help a broken creature, insisted he take a simple bite from a single petal. with that small bite nothing happened, but he thanked the floette nonetheless.

it wasn't until the next day that, once cadis awoke, he would come to feel more healthy. but not only was his physical health restored, he would come to appear physically different. a side effect born from a small ingestion of the eternal flower. his mind felt clearer, his body back to its original state, and his hair a different color. still their boss, there was a drastic change from within.[break][break]

Eva Dumont, running some tests, she would inform the rocket boss that his life had been given some form of extension. though he still remained ill, it was unknown when his illness could take effect on his physical health again. so he would need to be monitored from time to time per her suggestion.

the successor wondered, he was intrigued. he'd been away for such a long time. but that begged the question, where had he been? performing, he was performing under the guise of 'DAWN GRANDIER', a famous coordinator who earned the moniker 'TWILIGHT'.

his civilian identity is tethered to his fame and style of coordinating--his civilian appearance, dawn grandier, spans across several regions. his 'haunting style' is said to leave a void in the hearts of those who gaze into his performance--yearning for both the unknown and his ambiguity. the reason why he's known as 'twilight' is due to his ambiguity. a coordinator who leaves during the final fight after surpassing the first and second round. he forfeit's upon the third round before he can even participate within the final bout against his opponent. though the crowd has already decided the winner, he doesn't--no matter what contest--stay to fight and earn the ribbon/prize. this can leave many filled with a void as if they did not earn the ribbon due to his sudden disappearance toward the end.

it's said that when 'twilight' has entered the competition, some tend to dropout while others stay and hope to fight him in order gauge the rumors that are spread about him. he's angered many fellow competitors who feel as though they've been looked down on when it's the opposite. but, with his destined partner gallade and zorua, it's rumored that one shouldn't blink or else they will be swallowed by a black void and overcome with despair.

when in public as dawn grandier, he emits a strange aura that can feel pressuring. it can go unnoticed at first, but if one physically interacts with him or looks him straight in the eye? the feeling and sense of 'danger' will loom over. placing one on high alert. [break][break]

it is believed a simple smile can say a thousand words, but the only word that can be manifested before the onlooker, who stands in front of dawn, is 'danger'. perhaps you have interacted with the rocket boss and don't even know it. after all, team rocket did "disband", so why would you? that's right, when the fall of kanto was a success. silas' successor vanished without a trace. those who saw silas as a man who only valued strength and doubted his capability to plan ahead were foolish. he was a smart man, a man who held a contingency plan just in case of his untimely demise. could his sister not step up, then it would be left to his successor: cadis von klaussner. the loss of a life was never easy to hear. he wept for silas, offered a prayer, and made haste to hoenn. in the end cadis wasn't heartbroken over silas's passing, for he was eternal within cadis's heart. there are those who know of cadis and there are others who do not.

for those who do know cadis know him to be a calculative man who, unlike silas, instills confidence and support into his men. a manipulator, an actor, he does not demand absolute obedience. he empowers those beneath him with words of encouragement. it's hard to tell if he truly cares for the grunts of rocket, but he doesn't seem to show any malice toward them; though that's not to say he has no qualms with doing so.

cadis prefers to talk to those beneath him on equal footing. should one mistake his kindness for weakness? well, it's not a pleasant showcase. so it's best you keep such a thought or opinion within the back of your mind.

cadis is complex. hard to read and understand. those who're closest to him still, till this day, have a hard time understanding his motif and reasoning for the things that he does. but everything has a reason and all he will ask of his subordinates and advisers are to trust him. he will allow room for questioning, he will even ask for opinions; cadis will do his very best to plan far ahead and think of every potential outcome that may occur within a plan, his reason for this? a perfect plan does not exist to him. having everything go within expectations is foolish, a perfect plan is achieved when it has the plasticity needed to flexibly deal with troubles and the unexpected. of course, he invites those troubles and unexpected.
