as always they could rely on marie jules 's intel. cadis made note to reward her for immensely for her hard work. as he and many rockets hid out of plain sight from the open field that was infested from what looked to have been, "the missing scientists..." the lot of them looked...disfigured and yet walking.

he'd analyze from behind an oran tree. a finger pressed against his ear as he peeked, watching the scientists roam about. "i'm sure many of you are seeing what i'm seeing..." he whispered, "...but those are the scientists that have been missing for quite sometime. i remember seeing their faces in the news." they didn't look well, and with further examination one could see that they were no longer alive.

"they're walking corpses." bones broken. they were walking without a single cry or call for help. it didn't take a genius to see that something was out of the ordinary. "the beasts isn't moving, but its tentacles are each time a scientist moves." and from a simple observation, they could tell, "they're being controlled by the creatures tentacles. this is different from a malamar's hypnosis..." cadis stated. turning toward a rocket member from afar, he'd ask, "who's ready to poke the bear?" cadis playfully chuckled.

notes:
- an observation was made that the creature is controlling a bunch of walking corpses via its tentacle.
- cadis basically just asked if anyone was ready to test the waters.
- none of his pokemon are out atm.
- is speaking to everyone via an earpiece.
- is hiding behind an oran tree.

raichu saluted the stranger. natu, remaining perched atop of the tired male's head, watched the scene unfold as the trainer drunk the offered water. "ah! that hit the spot!" he was calm. as the trainer spoke, he'd look to return the offered water bottle. as the trainer informed him their intuition on pokemon.

raichu, casually, strolled around the trainer and to its trainer's side. placing its paw around the male's leg. a casual smile was given, "raichu..." staring at the creature for a brief second. he'd then begin to cry hysterically, grabbing the electric-type and hugging him tightly. "you're the sweetest thing i could ever own!" as the raichu would worm its way out of its trainer's arms. raichu would run over to speak with the pachirisu, it was looking for any reason to not have converse with its trainer right now.

toward the male before him. he'd finally greet the stranger, "those words you spoke were very heartwarming. are you by chance a pokemon connoisseur?' then, suddenly, his eyes became bright as stars, "no, don't tell me! you can communicate with pokemon?! are you able to speak their language?! ah, you're so fascinating!" he'd take out his phone, ready to record the individual. "do it! talk like a pikachu!"

a raichu scampered right by the individual and their pachirisu. arms risen and a jovial laughter, the raichu would come to halt the moment a shout was heard. "wait, wait, wait, raichu!" the male exclaimed. passing te individual before him, a natu could be seen perched atop of his head.

tired, he'd take a moment to gather his breath. gasping heavily, he panted hard as the pokemon allowed for him to catch his breath. in the midst of it all, he'd look back with widened hues. "sorry...about...that!!!" the male fell to his knees, head craned back and pointed toward the sky. the natu did not fall off and remained properly, and stiffly, atop of his head. "this is where i die. deprived of stamina, yup. this is a nice grave. i'm coming ma, pa..." a smile was donned in his acceptance of death.

raichu, on the other hand, would come to give its trainer a tail slap. "oof!" he uttered from the assault. he'd hold his face, whimpering, "you can't do that to me!" he'd turn to his fellow, asking, "can he do that?!"

— opening the contraption that held the severed arms of the ultra beast that attacked mossdeep city and was defeated by well-known figures of hoenn. cadis ventured to get a better look. examining the arms that once belonged to a powerful creature. he could feel a nasty energy sprawling from it.

"this is it." he said in amazement. a hand, inches from touching, felt the chaotic dissonance surrounding it. "Goro Shimizu , @desmond , @kingsley , gather the data our friend here has obtained throughout his time alone with this." turning toward priam conrad , "stop pushing buttons and assist me with finding samples of this creature. we'll take some for the road ourselves."

meaning cadis wanted to steal everything jonathan had currently worked on. "make sure to scrub this lab down clean and leave no trace." turning toward their newfound prisoner-soon-to-be-ally, he'd say, "jack wainwright , make sure he goes nowhere. he's coming with us." cadis said with a smile.

SECRET MISSION — INFILTRATE LEAGUE HEADQUARTERS

— the creature discovered from a recent occurrence and the overseer of it. priam was told where he could find the man. relaying this to cadis, he would leave the others to continue their search. calling the core four of this mission to meet at the rendezvous, he'd run off to find the whereabouts of jonathan everbrite.

once their, the group would come to find themselves standing before the rocket boss with a special guest tied by their wrists and was blindfolded. he was in the hands of priam conrad . they stood in front of the door they'd learned of earlier. the special that only jonathan could access.

the prisoner whose face was hidden come to be revealed as none other than jonathan everbrite. he was in their possession. "who'd like to do the honors of opening the gates to tartarus?" he spoke of the prized door that led them to their reason for coming here. the person to offer was...

"oh?" the pokemon of old. creatures that haven't been spoken of in who knew how long. to make such a quest, it was adorable. perhaps, instead of seeing it as a quest, cadis should see it as a dream. for these pokemon he were thinking of were nothing more than a folktale. though, that's what cadis wanted to tell him. but that wasn't in his character, perhaps under the alias of his alter ego--maybe--but cadis was an avid supporter of dreams and personal quests, wants, and desires.

"like i said, i'm a man who's here to support his subordinates." cadis was just a simple phone call away, "i may have some connections that could help you with this request. it may take time to reach them, but there's one who may be able to help you--two even." there were two people who came to mind, but that was only if he wanted it fast and easy. they weren't very reliable sources.

his true sources were, for now, a work in progress. they had much on their plate, so he'd have to refer him some point in the future when possible. "we'll help you achieve such a request. all i ask in return is that you make sure the children, being rocket, and i aren't on your list to seek your future pets on." cadis joked, casually chuckling.

looking at the time upon his watch. it was time. the doors on both their side and others began to open, people began to enter the warehouse. "let's walk and talk, rhys. follow me..." cadis began to lead rhys outback. where, once they were outside, a small group of men stood. a car was parked and ready for them, and their pokemon stood beside them.

"not many dragon-type pokemon are left here! so they normally blend in pretty well or prefer to keep to themselves!" thinking about it, he'd turn toward the gible. "the gabite and charmeleon are normally the worst." thankfully there weren't any here.

"honestly, you should be happy. normally the mature type are very aggressive toward one another. it's even worse when they're almost about to fight." thinking about the last time wasn't a very fun memory. "hopefully when you become a gabite you're not like the generic ones that fly through here!"

it was unexpected! to be in the presence of the infamous queen of the sea: Olivia Abbiati herself. "oooh! you're Olivia Abbiati !" he called out to the female, mouth agape as he was starstruck. to be in the presence of a well-known woman, it was quite a bit of a surprise. pulling out his phone, dawn would drop his hose in order to march upward to the famous water specialist.

"please allow me the chance to take a picture with you!" dawn asked. eyes glistening like a child witnessing their idol. "first FERNANDO SILPH , and now Olivia Abbiati ! today's really my lucky day, lucky-lucky!" he chimed within a singsong manner. "hey, hey, is it true that you're a professor of lore?! and that you beat the sinnoh circuit?!" realizing how overbearing he was being, he'd blush. turning red and nearly almost dropping his cellular device!

he'd step back several feet, bowing repeatedly and, almost a bit, too aggressively. he was practically gonna break his back with how hard he was bowing in repetition. "i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i'm sorry about that!!" the fellow was a bit eccentric, but harmless nonetheless. samurott watched from afar as his trainer was being his usual self before others.

the twister dispelled the feather dance. within a majestic, and clever, manner it caused a flurry of green, glistening dust to fall down. mixing with the rain to create serene display. "deduction..." dawn was captured within an expression of awe. perhaps it wasn't intended to be a beautiful display of showmanship on his part, but nonetheless he did great.

"you have a future in coordinating, mr. silph!" with a snap of his finger, he'd place his next order, "DOUBLE TEAM!" flying into the sky. decidueye began to dance around within the air. soaring, he'd create a multitude of shadow clones. they were like flies to the gyarados as they soared about. attempting to confuse the dragon all the while as he remained trap for a short period.

it was like a raging tauros coming toward the decidueye. using its caped arm as if it were a matador waving his red blanket within the bulls face, dawn ordered, "FEATHER DANCE!" and within a traditional movement, the decidueye would perform a paso doble. rotating around the gyarados's attempted bite with precision and synchronicity. "a simple full sweep." cadis knew the layout. this wasn't his first time here, after all. "we're gonna clean them out. gather them all up in one room and transport out of their lickity split!" mask on, he walked toward the open entrance. looking back, he'd say, "don't wait up, this is your time to prove yourself through action." examining the briefly once more, narrow eyes and a hidden smile, he'd leave him with this, "show me your resolve, i'd love to see who you really are."

and with that he'd enter the building. landing upon marble flooring. the hall there were within possessed dim lighting. venturing through the hall, cadis would come to a halt. pressing his back to the wall and peeking around the corner, cadis whispered, "there're two guards ahead, care to deal with them?"

"cinnamon!" in return his greet, too, the same. "how's one of my most loyal informants doing? i hope bad!" cadis joked, chuckling afterwards. "i'm assuming you're here to alert me that the meeting has been set up?" cadis wasn't one for brute force--unless necessary--so he'd like to have this meeting go smoothly.

they were here to instill trust, not fear. though, cadis felt he would not be able to hold himself back. for the owner had truly disrespected not just his mentor, but rocket as well. just when cadis was on his forgiving streak, someone had to go and ruin it. exonerating someone of their debt was never an easy task.

had the man just informed cadis of this casino, there would be no problem. they were friends weren't they? friends don't keep secrets from each other. "such is capitalism, greed is an ugly color." he randomly stated, "to pour the money he owed rocket into this. technically we own this, though not on official documents." a hand would come to be placed under his chin, an elbow resting upon his arm. "mmm...we'll just have to change! i'm sure the man must have lost rocket's number, perhaps that's why he didn't inform us!" cadis jested.
