cadis stood upon a stage within an empty warehouse. a metallic, rusted chair his seat. he was here to meet a newcomer. this newcomer's name? @spade. a new recruit who recently joined the ranks of rocket. his background, unknown to cadis, was told to have been an interesting one.

cadis loved reading, but what he loved most? meeting new people. he loved learning about ones past and experiences. he was excited to learn exactly what sort of journey this man had been on.

a meeting was being held within an abandoned warehouse. there were many rockets who were called, told to arrive on the dot. though, @spade, was told different. he was given a timestamp ahead of the rest. cadis summoned him here, why? well, that remained to be seen. for now, cadis simply read from a black book; upon its cover a strange symbol.

a sound was heard, orange light from the outside world poured in. with it, too, a silhouette. could it have been the figure he'd been expecting?

cadis was on the hunt. he'd received an alert that there was a man missing for quite sometime. cadis knew the man, he was an informant. to think he'd been missing for so long, cadis wondered as to what might have happened since he hadn't received word from the individual for quite sometime.

cadis stood outside of the entrance of a forest that led to the entrance of mt. pyre. the man he was in search of had either been injured, lost, or dead somewhere in this area. why did cadis know this? because they were to meet here. there was a high chance the informant was assaulted by a wild pokemon or he was left here for dead. either way, cadis felt the man was here.

which is why he called for assistance. just in case something dangerous was around here or foreign enemies remained at large. for now, his priority was to find the missing informant.

slateport was no longer under their control. but rocket still had some strings tugging at their grasp, and some that would soon fall into their web. there was a recent casino currently in the works of opening. who was behind it? a man that held ties with silas and assumed he was free.

cadis stood outside of the currently unopened casino that was still a work in progress. he'd been awaiting for a fellow rocket member to come and assist under his order. "to think someone had the gull to do this." the man owed rocket. it truly wounded cadis that there a human being so villainous, so evil to believe that just because his former teacher was gone he'd no debt to repay.

this casino belonged to rocket. they were going to use this casino whether the man liked it or not. he would submit and repent for spitting upon those of the dead. for now, cadis stood outside of the casino. awaiting for the grunt who would come to assist their boss within operation submission.

to think someone was unaware as to whom cadis was. he was forcefully brought into this against his will by men who were unaware of his status. it was to be expected, he did have the look of a normal citizen. though, he could use this as time to dust off his battling skills. it'd been quite sometime, he was excited to see if he, and his partner, still had it.

he stood inside of the cage with a light shone down upon him. "cage fighting? how barbaric..." covering his mouth, he'd add, "...yet exciting." he'd never done something like this. he was feeling a bit inspired. heck he was enthusiastic for he began to chuckle to himself. [break][break]

for the time being he'd await for his opponent to reveal themselves. soft, hollow eyes awaiting to see the person that would become the canvas; whereas, his pokemon, the brush.

it was nighttime. lights were shining and cars were arriving. he stood atop of the contest hall, hidden within the shadows. cadis held a mask within the palm o his right hand, whereas a dark trench coat danced in the wind.

it'd been sometime since he had to steal pokemon. he hadn't done this since his time in kanto. some would say that this is a job that should be left to the grunts, but how could he gain their trust and lead properly without showing them the way? this was a testament to his resolve. was cadis all bite and no bark? was he a man of action?

he needn't seek out their validation for he earned his position, but he had no want to demand respect through fear. for he was no silas. he was cadis, a man who simply wanted to enjoy being human while, too, understanding them. but cadis was not alone for he was assigned a chaperone. someone who was suggested by his underbosses. turning toward them, he'd ask, "are you ready to steal some hearts, my precious comrade..." a smile was thrown their way upon facing them.

to think a request like this would be sent to those of league. cadis merely caught wind of this during his time spent in the league headquarters, but under his false alias. a simple task: clearing out the electric pokemon who were sapping energy from the generators.

a bit of community service never hurt anyone. so this was a perfect opportunity for cadis to partake in. he wanted to checkout the layout of the power plant that new mauville was soon to use. for, perhaps in the future, this would be an interesting source of power to borrow from. he didn't need any nuisances getting in his way. so, happily, he decided to take the job without alerting anyone, aside from rocket, that he'd be here.

should he run into a member of league? well, he knew the proper role to play. that was all. he was here to help anyways, so there was nothing to be suspicious. for the time being there were angry protesters surrounding the entrance. cadis stood far from the group, wondering when a league official or rocket member would show to begin the summer cleaning of this place with him.

decidueye, hidden, saw prey that would capture his master's attention. as a lickylicky had idly been wandering about. the decidueye, on the hunt and hidden from site, would utilize spirit shackle to chain it by the throat. locking it in place and allowing to no longer roam anywhere.

decidueye would hold it in place for cadis to take notice. as cadis was, currently, focused on jayde. cadis, with a smile, would come to move forward. a single index finger was, then, aimed toward the center of his chest. "you." cadis smiled. like a magic trick, he'd turn that same hand over to reveal a pokeball upon opening his palm.

"i want to know if you're still with me--with rocket." a soft smile, he'd turn toward the captured lickilicky. threw said ball and captured the pokemon, absorbing it and placing it into his pocket. "i understand some are weary of me being the next head. to be honest with you, i'm not exactly excited myself. and if i'm going to lead, i'd like to not be a target of my own people." a nervous chuckle followed. it wasn't exactly fun being public enemy number one.

"bugoh?!" swablu uttered. awakening, he'd yawn, "sooo loud..." swablu, continuing, would say, "so you're the new kid on the block?" swablu asked. a tilted head followed by drowsy eyes pondered. "you remind me of a gible here that used to like biting others. do you like biting people?" swablu questioned, curious eyes wearily watched.

"i hope not. the last gible here was a monster." thinking back on it, it bit the caretaker's hand. "it was a pretty fun time thinking back." no it wasn't.

...they were right. both parties mind sound argument, which is why he'd call upon zoroark . responding, "you both make sound arguments. which is why i will have zoroark remain." by creating a guise of the group, cadis explained, "they'll wonder as to where the suppose 'university tour group' ran off to." turning toward zoroark, "zoroark can make an illusion to appear as though we're still here."

that way suspicion would be lessened. with the cameras turned off, no one would be able to see through zoroark's guise. "she was trained for moments like this anyway. with dominic and desmond keeping the cameras off, she'll be fine, her illusion will never break." and with that, he'd order, "we move together. as a family, father's orders!" cadis joked. if there were no further objections...

notes: i think the group can split up once we arrive to the hidden area. only b/c i think the serious obstacles, logically, will be in a place that doesn't want outsiders in.

"oh?" as he listened to jack wainwright . a pokemon, honchkrow, saw two men associating with one another. its forest was being disturbed, we couldn't have that now could we? and, without hesitation, it swooped down in an attempt attack cadis and jack.

unbeknownst to the pokemon. decidueye was awaiting from behind a tree and, with spirit shackle, the pokemon would come to be tugged by its neck. falling to the ground due to a surprise capture. turning to face the honchkrow, cadis smiled. he'd smack the ball atop of the honchkrow's head. absorbing the pokemon upon its foolish defeat.

standing, he'd turn back to jack, responding, "a bar?! what's it called, it sounds exciting! you must have all kinds of patrons?" cadis, jovially, spoke. he was within actual fascination of jack's life. surprised by the fact that, though a grunt, he worked as a bartender. "i hope me bringing you out here isn't interrupting your business!" cadis said, widened hues filled with worry.

"your turn!" cadis stated with a hollow smile. a hand was placed upon his subordinate's shoulder. it was now his time to indulge cadis, to learn who jayde was and jayde cadis.

in the midst of speaking to his subordinate, he'd ask, "tell me about yourself. i brought you out here because i was curious to learn of your origin. since my return i've spent so much time in my personal life that, as a boss, i need to make time for my subordinates." turning to face his subordinate, he'd say with a hollow smile, "indulge me, jayde cross ."
