laughter all around. a sudden gift would come to land within dawn's hand. "oh, how charming!" raising the item to get a better look. they'd come to be met with a newcomer. "well you're right on time, stranger." dawn spoke, "come join in on the fun! we were just about to play a game." his attention toward evan fader . cadis would start first, "i'm too much of a coward to partake in 'dare'. so i'll go with t-truth!" gardevoir continued to watch from behind.

❝where...am i...this place...is unfamiliar, strange...❞

unfamiliar, he'd halt within his walk. it was all unfamiliar to him. agape, hollow hues watched as those around him gathered. some familiar faces, others not. his face, too, had been different. even his getup, for only those who were of rocket had seen his true appearance. his true outerwear, an unfamiliar attire that not even his 'other persona' could adorn.

one could call it 'gothic' if they so chose.

the last thing he remembered was reading a book cataloged by an old rocket associate. he remembered falling asleep within the process, feeling drowsy. now he was here, dressed within an unusual coat; his hair slicked backwards and an unusual cross could be found upon his forehead.

it was too dark, so for now he'd wait. allowing for those around him to light their way within the darkness. his sight maneuvering to the corner to see a young woman (@bryony ) call out a pokemon.

notes:

- walks a bit, stops.
- waits for others to call out their pokemon to light the way.
- is chill for now.

gardevoir would capture the falling ball. once it was within her grasp, she'd pass it onto dawn. "let's see what we caught, shall we?" calling out the ghost-type, it would come to be a rotom. but this one held a particular color to it. "ooh, how lovely!" he chuckled. he'd return the shiny rotom back to its ball. turning toward aramis, he'd carry on their conversation.

"sorry about that, i spaced out." he'd chuckle at his airheadedness. "i just couldn't help myself. when i see something that takes my interest, it's a bit hard to come back down to earth." massaging the nape of his neck, he'd look to his friend who, coincidentally, would introduce him to a new gym leader. "ah! i've heard so much about you!?"

he became starry-eyed. taking ahold of her hand and shaking it hurriedly, "you're 'the' stormy silph?! are you by chance related to councilman fernando?!" he asked in awe, "my name is dawn, dawn grandier! i'm a big fan of your brother, haha!"

"that's a weird CHANNEL..." a ghost began to emerge. cadis's attention was caught. unaware of @thermopylae calling him by the name 'DAWN'. "let's see what it is!" without a second thought he'd throw a pokeball at the television. attempting to capture whatever had been emerging from the electrical box.

within his throw he'd come to retract his attention. turning it toward aramis, "ah, mr. highlander! i'd no idea you were coming here!" he replied with an ecstatic tone. a head craned to the side, a heartwarming smile given. he'd point toward the floating television, "look, look!" gardevoir watched, awaiting to see if whatever cadis (dawn) had attempted to capture was worth their attention.

notes: idk. i just needed him in here.
small note: @thermopylae , a small little tidbit but nothing worth editing! cadis introduced himself in their previous thread as "dawn grandier". so aramis would know him as dawn, not cadis! it's nothing serious/important since the thread was started and finished awhile ago. like i said nothing worth editing, just wanted to fix that. :Monkas:

their unity pushed through. "great job, everyone!" dawn praised the group. "gallade, once more, CLOSE COMBAT!" another order was issued. gallade obeyed without fail, following with a series of physical assaults. the pokemon had no plans of letting up against those cadis deemed an enemy. "let's keep at it team!" though he wasn't assigned to this mission with the gym leader trio, he couldn't help it. as a 'league official' and gym trainer, it was his duty to be of assistance to his superiors. if he were stepping out of place, dawn was prepared to be reprimanded by the three.

notes: hehe, dawn (cadis) ordered gallade to use close combat.

RALLY ON COMMAND — KILL EVERY THREAT

"look..." the one thing that stood out the most from all their attempts were @eliajh's seed bombs. the tentacle had detached from one of the scientists nape. some progress was made, cadis would use the earpiece to issue an order. "elijah gardner, your breloom seems to have done something. can you try doing what you just did again?" he requested. for now decidueye remained on standby, maneuvering to cadis's side as he stood beside the oran berry tree.

he'd issue an observation. "i think breloom's seed bombs might've had some effect. perhaps grass-type moves have some sort of effect on it? either way, we'll try together. let's test our theory, shall we?" to decidueye cadis would order, "decidueye, fly above and remain at a diagnol position. use leaf storm upon the beast!" orders given, decidueye maneuvered into the sky. making sure not to peer overhead, decidueye remained several meters from the unknown creature's location.

gathering its attack, it'd release a slanted grassy funnel toward it from above. attempting to hit the main body.

notes:
- an observation was made: may be weak/effected by grass-type moves. only an assumption.
- cadis remains beside the oran berry tree.
- decidueye used leaf storm from above.

this was a tiny bit rushed. pls excuse my poor energy.

slick back hair and a cross upon his forehead. a business suited gentleman entered the hotel, an alolan meowth at his side. a schadenfreude smile had been warn, complimented by hollowed eyes. a genuine greeting was given, "hello!" softly spoken, his words held joviality. but the aura he gave off was one of disgust. could one peer into the afterlife, they'd see a chain of skeletons piled around his very being.

as he sat, he'd lean back. propping himself comfortably within his chair. "the infamous mad dog..." silas did always have the most intriguing people in his circle. "tell me, have you been faring well?" with rocket's hidden status, he wondered how the male was making a living. "i was saddened by your disappearance. it took quite a bit to find you." head craned to the side, his knuckle acting as a support to uphold. "i hope i'm not intruding on your busy schedule or anything!" a bashful smile, followed by a soft chuckle, was given.

"that's one way to deal with it..." impressive, cadis emerged onto the scene. together he and joseph would come to be standing in front of a metallic door. the control panel was well under lock and key. it required a fingerprint.

turning toward the unconscious guard. cadis pondered on if one of the male guards were what they needed to open it. "how do you plan to get in?" cadis could think of a few ways. but he wanted to hear what the newcomer thought.

"candy?" an open hand would capture the sweet treat. examining it, he'd pass it over to his gardevoir. "for you." his mask hid half of his face, but revealed the upward curve of his crescent smile. gardevoir accepted graciously, cadis returned to watching those from the second floor have fun.

Oh No You Don't! (Mission)

what dorian did had no effect on cadis nor that of team rocket...for now. his heroic antics were looked over for the time being, they brought amusement to his face. his hypocritical nature poked his interest. "if i were you i wouldn't..." the moment dorian took action was all but a turn for the worse.

dorian would come to discover that he was not alone, for he had servants: a single drowzee. the energy dorian westcliff expelled through his aura was enough to FOREWARN an assault incoming. interrupting the hypno's feast was an act punishable by death. the shadow ball had been DISABLED by the drowzee. whereas a NASTY PLOT was thought up by the drowzee.

cadis entered behind dorian westcliff, a hand placed upon his shoulder. "recall your pokemon back." looking at the drowzee, "he's working for the hypno." the hypno stood upon a high place. menacingly staring from above. the drowzee was ordered to issue a POISONOUS GAS should his meal be tampered with--it was an absolute order.

"we're dealing with psychic pokemon. they possess hostages. they're not afraid to take their hostages down with them. if you wish to aggravate them then by all means, you're costing the children's lives in the end." and there were many children here rendered unconscious as seen. "you're being reckless, dorian." the drowzee was ready to fight, ready to even use the children as hostages per his master's orders.

a tux was worn, a cape casually draped behind his back, and a full-fledged mask hid his face from the world. he watched in silence as the many gathered in and the few remained outside. the man behind the mask was neither cadis nor dawn, but a phantom for the evening.

for now he simply remained to himself. a gardevoir standing at his side and a few inches behind. from second floor he watched those upon the first revel in joy. for the night was young and there was much in store for all who came. though, cadis pondered, how would the night exactly treat them? only time would tell.
