Bryan ignores the vespiqueen, instead choosing to look at Banette and the "What the fuc-" was all he could say before his body got blasted from behind with several powerful stones that sent him falling forward as blood pooled underneath him. "SHIT" he shouts at the top of his lungs as that fucking attack hurt. [break][break]

His pokemon however don't miss a beat, the CURSE placed by Spiritomb once again ravaging vespiqueen's body. From the floor as his body tried to repair itself, Bryan gritted his teeth as he gave out his next order. "Blizzard! " he ordered as the Pokémon began to channel a snowstorm once again as the wals of the cave began to freeze over creating an ice box. [break][break]

However the gym leader refused to give up and leave, and with the grunts now arriving he'd soon have back up. But his pride refused to allow them to help. "Weapons? And they said I was cringe for using a bow and arrow." he raised his hand, it was time to change the terrain to his advantage. [break][break]

"Xerneas." he called out as his partner responded to his will and the two had energy swirling around them. The ground shook in response to their will "Black Briar." he called out as the tree from which Xerneas emerged from earlier began to swell in size, forming a tree of life that sprung to life, creating a dome of Briar thorn roots that encapsulated both Bryan and Greyson. [break][break]

He created a cage match for the two, locking out all the other Pokémon from assisting aside from the ones Greyson had on him. He grinned as suddenly Byran started to melt away into the foliage he had created from the tree. "Is it sinking in yet?" He'd ask as he reappeared next to Greyson, aiming to grab the doublades from his hand trying to kick his shin in.

He takes out his flask, not giving a shit if any of them criticized him for drinking. [break][break]

Not like he'd even feel it for longer than a few seconds. "I'd say though that it may be in our best interest to not mess with their plans. Survival n all that. Fuck the league though." he says raising his flask to priam conrad's earlier statement

"I need this tree to come back. It belongs to Xerneas." he says as being Xerneas's avatar was not exactly...demanding. The deer asked so little of him yet Bryan was so powerless to defend the icon that belonged to his pokemon.

With moment that passed, more and more of the bug types fell into a deep slumber as they were beginning to hibernate. [break][break]

Bryan's aid was suddenly delivered as Banette suddenly began to go on the offensive, disabling the Vespiqueen slightly with a taunt and a will o wisp. Bryan followed up on it as Spiritomb begins to act and uses CURSE on the queen. The battle was essentially one at this point, it was only a matter of time now. [break][break]

But the process could certainly be sped up. "Ninetails! Moon blast!" as the pink ball added to the will o wisp's light by mixing the purple with a pink hue as the attack slams into the queen beating it down further.

'He would be fine, eventually.' Xerneas says in an extremely calm manner. To him time wasn't a concept that really affected the deity. He lived for centuries already, and continue to do so if the world didn't end as they knew it. [break][break]

Regardless, something mars says causes him to raise an eyebrow. In order for the beast to learn of his reason for joining he had to give his own? "Not entirely fair trade now is it? No one cares why I joined, YOU on the other hand..." he says handing the bottle back over to Martin. "Are responsible for a lot of people's well being outside of rocket." [break][break]

He sighs. "My reason for joining rocket isn't there anymore. permanently died with the tree. My sister, Soleil." he says laying back in the sky as Xerneas closed his eyes, this was a story that Bryan had shared with him already. [break][break]

"My parents were both pieces of shit. People turning a blind eye to those in need, my dad was an alcoholic, mom let him beat on her cause she loved him. The works." he tells him "Littleroot is a small town, everyone knew he was a no good bastard but did nothing." [break][break]

"My younger sister Soleil? A beautiful, precious girl who wasn't even given a chance at life. She was terminally ill, in and out of the hospital her entire life. Her only dream was to go on a traditional gym challenge adventure, but in her condition it was impossible. I eventually got in with the wrong crowd, they promised to try and help me with Soleil and thats when jayden cross found me." [break][break]

he stops talking for a moment as he sits up and digs his hand into the sand and lifted it up, letting the grains fall between his fingers as he studied them closely. "I joined rocket to find Xerneas and cure her. Give her the dream she wanted of going on her adventure. But when I finally found Xerneas and we became partners...as if it was a cruel joke by Arceus himself, she died the same day." [break][break]

He stares at his palm "That same night, I tried to burn littleroot to the ground. They all ignored our situation, ignored me when my family tossed me out of my home, ignored the hospital bills that piled up that I had to pay for." he says as he clenches his fist. "The worst of them all was the league, never let me rise to a higher station cause of my history of violence. I was a snot nosed kid angry at the world, who the fuck wouldn't have that problem?" [break][break]

He becomes sad once again. "Worst of all, I had the option of reviving her, with more blue mulch I found. But, there was no way of telling how blue mulch works on people, nor how she'd react to me basically being forced to tell her everything. She'd hate me and I didn't think I could live with that. Now she's gone, gone with the tree where I buried her."

Greninja slices up a corpse, killing the tentacruel in the process as the water began to turn a crimson red. Greninja sees that they're evacuating and jettisons off towards Bryan, creating a handsign with his webbed fingers before spewing out a cloak of smoke screen in the water to give them cover to escape. And like that they were gone, Bryan was NOT going back.

The light had faded suddenly, much quicker than Bryan had anticipated. He tried to call forth more light but it wouldn't respond. Was this an effect of the time distortion? [break][break]

he didn't have time to dwell on it, he had to defeat Greyson and quickly. He grins as the purple armor covers the man's body. "Good. You're gonna need that." as the ground cracks beneath bryan and he leaps towards Greyson, aiming to punch the man in the gut in an attempt to send him flying. [break][break]

The shadow storm consumes grimmsnarl entirely as the pokemon raises his arms over his chest to try and defend from the hit, because he wasn't quick enough the PROTECT was delayed, only blocking a smaller portion of the super effective SHADOW STORM.[break][break]

The Audino twins size up the saumrott as they see a hydro pump cascading towards their way. The male audino tanking the hit head on as it fell backwards a few feet and it's sister began to make it's move. She channels a HEAL PULSE onto the male audino as the male audino works to counter attack, firing a THUNDER BOLT that arc'd its way over to the water samurai. [break][break]

Lastly, Xerneas and Tyrantum. Xerneas remained unmoving as he was vulnerable as he charged geomancy, the tyrantum scoring a hit on the legendary creature. "Foolish. One will not be phased so easily." he comments as now that Tyrantum was close and Xerneas unleashed the light from GEOMANCY, he was stronger. Between his horns a ball of light formed as Xerneas lowered his head and the ball followed, slamming into tyrantum with a FOCUS BLAST. [break][break]

The fight began to cause a commotion in the inside of the cave as grunts began to shout behind Bryan. "Wolf's engaged an enemy!" they shouted as Bryan grinned, they were going to begin fleeing with the materials they came for.

He had to be that way, rocket demanded it so. [break][break]

But he had grown softer as of late with these magma proceedings. Was it Xerneas's influence on him? He had no idea of really knowing if it was his own will that was waning or something but it didn't matter right now. [break][break]

All he had to do was follow orders. Be strong and hit stuff. [break][break]

He stopped doing his crunches and saw that casey was growing tired. He stood up and came down upon the man's legs as he decided to try and hold casey's feet on the ground. "Go, give me 10 more. You got it." he says trying to distract the man from his true intentions.. Bryan tried to limit test himself. Wondering if he could sneakily ease casey's fatigue without the man noticing as he slowly channeled his abilities into his hands as he tried to put a limit on the light show as he kept casey's feet stuck to the floor. [break][break]

Azumarill was sent flying into the wall with the flash cannon as the pokemon had a crippling weakness to steel attacks. She had to recover, she began to summon rings of water that encapsulated her body as she plopped off from the hole in the wall and began to rush towards Duraldon, channeling a regular ol punch in an attempt to just chip away at the large creature as she had to focus on the aqua ring.

He couldn't let her know however so he kept his back turned to her. "Alright then, get out of here so I can go submit these to Martín del Mar." he says shooing her off, knowing full well the man could appear at any given moment. He could also be watching them at this very moment. [break][break]

"Remember. Not a word." he says again as he was overdoing it as he raised his hand to wave her off as he began to try and empty the tank out by attaching it to a drain pipe..
