THERE!

With great luck Sebastian had managed to capture the Dottler while Oscar took down the Venomoth, obtaining it in kind. Grinning from ear to ear Sebastian would then lead Oscar into a thicket of the woods he had visited in his youth, though he didn't frequent it or anything it still marked his mind with memories nonetheless.

And almost as soon as they had arrived at the destination so would more Wild Pokemon appear, this time a sort of two-headed beast and a...crab or bug in a small rock shell?

Dibs on the two-fer-one!

Get in there Famine and use Metal Claw again! Don't let up!

Scanning the two-headed Pokemon then with his dex Sebastian would discover that it was dubbed Zweilous.

And it had decided to counter with Outrage, hissing and roaring in defiance as it stood it's ground to embrace Famine's attack. Clashing again and again each Pokemon would land their blows as neither chose to avoid the other's assault. In the process both would begin to falter from damage and fatigue, that was until Sebastian made a tactical decision.

Counter it with Thrash!

Hissing as the dragon had Famine would then preform it's own rage-based assault, finally taking down the Zweilous so Sebastian could lob a Poke Ball toward it in an attempt to capture it.

They were initially tasked with taking their shoes off and changing their attire entirely, being given "Dojo Uniforms" to wear in the meantime. Secondly there was a lengthy speech of sorts until they were then pressed to move along to their appropriate challenge.

In this they were met with one of the Dojo's members, a male whom seemingly owned a Whiscash, but kept it in a sort of kiddy-pool. Despite this it's first attack was Surf and remained considerably large in diameter. With Maladi, a Normal-Fire-Type at his side Sebastian would have grimmiced at the notion had he not been a quick tactical thinkerh himself.

While his partners opted to absorb the water before counter attacking themselves, Sebastian had no such means to nullify the water, but he did have the ability to at least avoid it, potentially...

Maladi, hit that Surf with HYPER VOICE and blast your way through!

Stepping up excitedly Maladi would plant her feet down before tilting her head back and then dropping it back to a level state while unleashing an ear piercing roar that would cone out in visible fashion. The next moment would lead to the HYPER VOICE clashing with the incoming wave, in which would knock a "hole" through the wave. However as this happened in planned fashion Maladi would begin lurching forward, maintaining her HYPER VOICE before leaping through the makeshift entrance/exit through the incoming Surf. From there she would be mid-air as the wave passed on, tilting her head to redirect her attack towards the fish Pokemon in the kiddy-pool, attempting to then attack her target with her continued roaring assault.

Sighing just before Maverick then noted that they might have some trouble brewing Sebastian would begin to let his gaze drift about while his hands continued to work on the task at hand. Then the buzzing came in like thunder rumbling, it was indeed time to hurry.

Clicking his tongue off of the roof of his mouth Sebastian would be swift to move to the next harvesting "Station" before continuing, hoping that his frantic energy wouldn't cause him to slip and ruin the honey gathering. However at the sight of his mission partner's large fire attacks he'd nearly hiss, was the guy a mad man? They were in a forest, a highly flammable area....

HEY, CHILL OUT, LITERALLY!

If you catch this forest on fire I'm pretty sure our job rewards will be reduced to nothing! And we'll probably be arrested or something! Don't destroy the hives, they won't be able to produce more honey, meaning everyone will be screwed out of a job....Heh, heh!

Sighing while gathering the last bit he could manage Sebastian would then ponder on his own chosen words, it was bothersome to him. Why was he so nice, even in situations like this. Why did he care about others when in the end everyone seemingly failed him one way or another, betrayal was a pet peeve that was for sure.

Quick, Maladi, Dooku let's get going!

With the gathered honey in tow Sebastian had to be swift, but careful as he didn't want to spill any of the gathered product. It would be a shame if he ruined what he had spent so delicately harvesting.

THERE!

After Sebastian and Oscar continued to wander about the dark wild area they'd be graced soon enough by the appearance of not one, but two Pokemon.

First there was Venomoth, the evolved form of Venonat, an evolutionary line that Sebastian was familiar with again due to this place being close to his hometown. A Dual-Type Pokemon consisting of Bug and Poison-Type, arguably one of Sebastian's favorite insects especially compared to the more popular likes of Butterfree. However before Sebastian could prepare to battle the beastie his eyes would come across the likes of an unfamiliar Pokemon, perhaps a breed that had become invasive since his time away from home, which expanded many years at this point.

Pulling out his old school Poke Dex Sebastian would discover that the Pokemon was Dottler, the Radome Pokemon a Bug and Psychic-Dual-Type. Supposedly it, like many bugs, evolved via a larva to cocoon stage, however it's description also noted that it still had another form to evolve into meaning it waited inside it's shell while using it's Psychic prowess in the meantime.

This was the Pokemon he had to catch, surely...

Famine, quick use Metal Claw, let's capture this Dottler!

Meowing with excitement Famine would then leap into the fray, sprinting frantically before bum rushing it's target whom jumped slightly as it was spooked, the Dottler quickly attempting to use Harden. However, Sebastian's Famine was one of his more experienced battlers meaning it knew better, as such it didn't pause after landing one Metal Claw, instead he'd follow up with a second to compensate for the Dottler's Harden.

And after the two successful blows Sebastian would hurl a Poke Ball at the target, crossing his fingers on instinct though he was swift to uncross them as to avoid flaring up his OCD.

I'd say if I had some sort of Water-Cat we might be lucky enough to beat the heat with a Rainy Day or something, hehh. Then again that just might make it stupidly humid, heh hehh.

With his fellow hiker's "encouraging" words toward Sebastian's Pokemon team he found himself slightly morally boosted, thus pushed him self further. Now he wasn't non-athletic, but he was "lazy" in a sense, a sort of relaxed fellow who procrastinated too much though it wasn't always entirely his own fault and mostly just happened unconsciously.

The thought of hiking quicker however did make Sebastian mentally groan however.

Oh, joy....

The Rockteer would think to himself as they pressed on.

Anyways, these are my friends, Deth the Glameow, Maladi the Litleo, Famine the Galarian Meowth, Gram the Alolan Meowth, Pestilence the Meowth, and Dooku the Litten.

They're all pretty unique, stand outs of their species. But, I think that's moreso because of how I've raised them rather than them being stand alones from their relatives..

Proceeding to pop his neck awkwardly from side to side the blonde would nonetheless let out an audible sigh before picking up his speed just a tad bit more to "keep up" with Asher. He had to keep reminding himself the growth he might obtain from the task at hand, just keep swimming, swimming.....

Sebastian had hoped the Fake Out to Hurricanrana would be a beneficial and unstoppable combo maneuver, yet he and Gram had fallen victim to their opponent's own plan, their counter.

GRAM!

In an instant Gram's move was countered into a Tombstone Piledriver, slamming the cat skull first into the mat of the wrestling ring. In this Gram however would let out a painful, but hopefully effective scream [SCREECH] before quickly pawing it's way free and between the Dragon Dual-Type's legs.

Good job Gram, now hit it with some Fury Slaps!

Sneering in excitement Sebastian would watch on then as Gram spun on his heel, leaping forward before unleashing a series of violent slaps upon the Hakamo-o's back or rather it attempted to via it's Fury Slaps [Fury Swipes]. Rather than outright scratching and swiping at Gram instead used the back of his paws as well as attempting to preform open paw slaps too.

C'mon, get em' good! LIGHT EM' UP WITH THOSE SLAPS!!

It was back home to where he had been born, Verdanturf Town, though he had skipped on past it entirely and headed to Route 117 for a job. Tasked with capturing some Bug and Dark-Types for Team Rocket's reserves, be they for future battling purposes or to be sold on the black market, Sebastian moved with purpose outside of relishing the feeling of being at home again, a chance to relax....

He was not relaxed.

Partnered with another Team Rocket member the two of them were to work in sync, but Sebastian couldn't help, but imagine his partner getting in his way or vice versa potentially. Still though he and his Galarian Meowth known as Famine walked without hesitation in their step, the pair of them walking in unison even.

Hey, it's getting late...That means the local Pokemon start moving into the thick woodlands, Bug-Types and Dark-Types found fighting, working together too, it's like a little society...It was kinda spooky growing up, what with all of the stories and all...

Breaking the silence to ease the tension in the air Sebastian would turn his attention to his partner....

Hmm, sure, sure.

Me and my cats are ready as we'll ever be I suppose.

Heh, heh.

Removing his jacket then and folding it neatly so it'd fit into the medium-sized travel bag he kept toward his lower back Sebastian would then wipe the new layer of sweat spilling from his brow using his forearm. From there he and his cat posse too would begin stretching and after awhile the group of hikers were off.

Not only was Mt. Pyre known for it's hectic terrain and climate, but it supposedly had become littered with thuggish types, those inferior to Team Rocket more than likely. After all, Team Rocket wasn't silly enough to pester travelers in such treacherous terrain, no that was more akin to the old school Team Rocket if anything.

Unbothered by the heat and terrain Maladi, a Litleo, and Dooku, a Litten, would press on ahead of Sebastian and his other cats, though Famine, a Galarian Meowth, wouldn't be too far behind. This left Sebastian, Deth [Glameow], Gram [Alolan Meowth], and Pestilence [Meowth] on their own with the Rocketeer soon enough having to scoop up the "Queen" Dee aka Deth the Glameow. This was due to the latter cat being his laziest Pokemon along with being his most spoiled due to her being his eldest cat and one who naturally required more pampering though she relished it and was far from pompous about it.

The first twenty minutes of the climb felt like two hours to Sebastian leading to the Rocketeer remembering why he hated cardio work outs the most.

It's soooo hott!

I don't know why I underestimated the heat, ooooof.

Lost and wandering about aimlessly Sebastian, Famine, and Pestilence would eventually find themselves in a light fog. In this it allowed a Wild Pokemon to equally wander into the group, a ?

Before he knew it a small and robust golem-esque Pokemon appeared leading to Sebastian and his Pokemon taking half steps back while also reaffirming their own stances. Following this Sebastian would retrieve his Poke Dex, quickly scanning the monster ahead of him and discovering it's existence as Golett. Raising his free hand, left, and pointing it at the Wild Pokemon Sebastian would then "bark" orders at his own Pokemon partners.

Pestilence use Taunt and Assurance and hit it head on!

Famine use Metal Claw, catch it after Pestilence's attack then follow it up with another Metal Claw!!

As the feline Pokemon charged forward the Golett would initially be taken back by their fierce aggressiveness despite having been the aggressor itself, though it was swift to begin swinging their arm in circles for some sort of move. However it was due to this and the Meowth duo's superior speed that the latter of which would strike first, ending the battle before Golett could correctly fire off it's Mega Punch. First Pestilence hit it with a diving headbutt which knocked it off balance allowing for Famine to come in with a heavy overhand clawing strike. Yet, rather than leave it at this the Galarian Meowth would spin on their heel, coming around to deliver a follow up Metal Claw, this time a rotating uppercut that sent the Golett onto it's back and knocking it unconscious.

Sneering with glee Sebastian would embrace his luck by not wasting it, retrieving a Poke Ball and throwing it toward the downed Dual Ground and Ghost-Type Pokemon. After absorbing the Pokemon in a bright light it would close once more, falling to the ground and rolling about a few times before...a confirming tone would ring out, almost echoing in the silent foggy area.

Snatching up the Poke Ball afterward the Team Rocket Grunt would proceed to scoop up the Poke Ball and his new capture, heading out then while seeking out a means to reward his Pokemon, a treat or two perhaps.

Well from my experience Dooku, my Litten, is less distrusting as his species usually are, he's actually a big baby and a huge lover. Maladi, my Litten, on the other hand is rather feisty. She's a Princess for sure, but she's also quite energetic. If she's not running around she's wanting up in my face for snuggles.

Rubbing the back of his neck Sebastian would then groan aloud, evidently he was on collecting duty while his partner would do the "guarding". Huffing and puffing his way to Mr. Honeywell's supposed abode the undercover Rocket would knock thrice until he was met by a burly older man. Following him inside Sebastian would be further informed of the job at hand before being given his general collecting supplies and given directions in detail on how he was to harvest properly. On the way out Sebastian was further tasked with retrieving two large buckets as well, though currently empty they were to be used to hold the collected Combee honey while the supplies rested in a bag now strapped to his back.

Meeting back up with his partner Sebastian would merely nod toward the direction they were to head off to.

Well, let's roll out then, Honeywell says the Combee congregate in a woodland thicket just down the way, a sort of farm he's forged by collecting and releasing wild Combee. Says when still wild they produce a more lovely honey, while captured Combee create an entirely different product, kinda cool I guess...heh.

Eventually the group would come upon the path they were to follow which would lead them into the woods which grew thicker and thicker with foliage until they found their target. Loud buzzing filled the air before they even arrived however leading to them being a bit more stealthy on their initial approach as they had to make sure a Queen wasn't nearby.

Then again they had enough fire power that the group had little to nothing to fear.

Guess I should get to it then, daylights' burning and a hive of bees is less frightening than a Lion's Barrage, heh, hehhh....

Sighing before pressing on with Dooku and Maladi close to his ankles Sebastian would proceed to retrieve his honey gathering tools, being somewhat careful enough as to avoid damaging any of the hives while still harvesting what he needed to get the job done. Collecting not only the liquid, he'd also carve out chunks of honeycomb as well and soon enough the Rocketeer had filled the first bucket to nearly the brim, capping it off with it's air tight seal and slapping it for confirmation before moving on with the second bucket.

Oh joy.

Hakamo-o looked rather intimidating, Sebastian's wandering mind immediately going to a deep dark place, if the dragon hailed from Alola did that mean it preyed upon "weaker" Pokemon like the likes of the Alolan Meowth variant? Cringing and almost wincing, but hiding it rather well with his continued cocky expression, Sebastian would fight away the thoughts of Gram being mauled in the wild by some furious lizard somewhere on some far away region. Nonetheless he'd be swift to retrieve his old school Poke Dex, using it to scan the Hakamo-o as the the bout slowly began to unfold as the group wandered toward the wrestling ring in the gym. Along the way Sebastian would give Gram a fist bump for good luck and encouragement.

So they're both from Alola, huh? Well that's cool, I wonder who's the apex predator back home?

I mean I'm positive Meowth is dominant here in this situation, but what about the wild? Hmm?

Watching the Hakamo-o begin to rock back in forth Sebastian would merely nod toward Gram as they glanced over their shoulder back toward it's trainer. It's how they opened every fight, after all the move required such conditioning, being that it was to be used as the Pokemon's first move in a battle.

Rushing forward in an instant Gram would blitz forward with apparent reckless abandon as it charged it's larger opponent. However this charge was merely a ploy as when Gram neared the Dual-Type it would leap into the air, clapping his paws together which would create a shockwave that would ripple through the air in hopes to throw the dragon off via FAKE OUT. Finishing his jump by preforming a front flip, Gram would attempt to then land on Hakamo-o's shoulders and if able he'd try his hand at a flying hurricanrana which was sort of a flying leglock-headlock throw, reckless, but a technical aerial move if there ever was one.

Scoffing with pride Sebastian would watch on proudly as he waited to see if Gram's combo proved efficient to land the first blow.
