Sapphire eyes wide with panic and terror at the thought that her poor little skitty was stuck in a tree, or even something worse. Ely couldn’t bring herself to think of what her pokemon could be going through being lost without her in this dangerous world. Oh why. Oh why did her little Jesabell did run away from her like that?

Luckily, it was kind and reassuring words of Grigori that soothed the pink haired woman some. Her gaze shifted to the castform, its little dance brought a small smile to her glossy hit pink lips and a brightness to her eyes. “Thank you,” she mumbled to the castform, turning her gaze back to the only man that offered to help her, “And thank you too.” She sniffled, forcing away the water that started to pool in her eyes and giving him a firm nod. “Okay… Yeah… You’re right. She could just be… napping on a pillow or something. Yeah.”

Gathering herself, the dark haired man began to search the undergrowth. Eleanor took in a deep breath, forcing a hard line of a smile on her facial features. Turning on her heels, the young woman moved to a different patch of thick brush. Kneeling down by the bush, Eleanor began to search through the thistle. Normally, she wasn’t the type to get dirty but damn it. She wanted to know that her skitty to be safe…. And clean.

She heard Grigori speak as she dug through her way deeper in the greenery, not caring about the disturbance of the natural flora like him. “Oh right,” the woman replied cheerfully, taking a set back to each into her skirt pockets, “I think I do have a few in my pocket here.” The coordinator fumbled with her pockets for a minute or two, hands finally grasping the few treats she had and dragging them out. “Here they are,” the woman shouted, eyes sparkling and a fist tight with a few treats.

This was a disaster! A life or death situation! Someone! Anyone! Call for help! She couldn’t find her Skitty anywhere!

“Jesabel!…” A young woman called out, her high pitched tone filled with distresse and worry. “Jesabel! Where are you?!” There was no response to her. The only thing she got was either shared concern looks casted to her or looks of annoyance from her shouting on the top of her lungs. “Please… come back!” The pink haired woman looked like she was about to cry, sapphire eyes wide. Why did she run away? All she wanted to do is give her a bubble bath. She was sooooo dirty, filthy really. Ely just wanted her to be clean for the next contest. Is that really that bad?

“Jesabel… Jesa-“ The man that agreed to help her find her kitty spoke, asking questions that could lead to where her poor skitty went. “Ummm,” Eleanor passed has rose to pinch her chin in deep thought, “It… it was over there.” The hand that was on her chin moved to point a painted finger nail in the direction she as sitting with her said skitty, remembering she was brushing while telling her that she needed a bath. And at the mention of a tree, her eyes widen with true panic. “Do…do you-“ Eyes began to pool, about ready to cry. “Do you really think she is in a tree?” Oh no! Poor baby!

More panic and distress filled her, her chest felt tight and breathing shallow. What if her pokemon is hurt? Scared? She had to find her and fast. Ely blinked when he asked for her name again, brows scrunched together as her brain began to run through a millions scenarios of how her skitty could be hurt or even stolen. “It’s Eleanor, Ely for short if you like.” She sniffled, fighting back the desire to break out in tears. “Thank you again Grigori for helping me. I’m so scared for my skitty.”

This man really knew how to charm a young lady like Eleanor. Claiming to recognize her in the performance world, showering her with compliments left and right, and even stating she could have really put on a show if she taken part in this contest, it was all so good to her ears. To be fair though, it didn’t take much to get the pink haired woman on someone side. Not that she really knew that, but still. Regardless, this man has won her over in the matter of minutes and it showed.[break][break]

Her brows rose in astonishment at the next statement he made. “Do… Do you really think so?” Although the young woman hasn’t been preforming that much recently and has been struggling to find contest to partake in the past, she has done a few. Though, she has came close to last in most of them. It was really starting to bring her down, draining her inspiration and muse to keep going. But if the idol Jade Rivers says she could have ‘stolen the show’, surely that means she isn’t that bad. Right? Like, he’s an idol so he would know. Right?[break][break]

Manicured hands clasped together before her, eyes wide and filled with endless hope. “You have no idea how much that means to me Jade,” Ely began, inching closer to the idol to the point that she was unintentional invading personal space, “I was starting to think I wasn’t cut out for this.” Taking a few steps back, the woman twirled around in place with a new refreshed aura to her. “Now I really wished I could have gotten a slot.”[break][break]

Facing the man again, her eyes widened like she got a brilliant idea. “Oh! Maybe we can exchange number so you can let me know of any contest you get invited too. I would love to show you what I can do.” Suddenly, the woman changed her stance. Shoulders scrunched together, head tilted down though her eyes remained on him. Bottom lip pouted out, giving the man puppy eyes. “And maybe like, you can recommend me too. Give me a little shout.”

That Maverick guy was so… rude. If she would have known that partnering up with him and that other girl meant that she was going to get nagged at all the time, Ely wouldn’t have never agreed to it and found someone else to do this who community garden thing. How was she to know that those berries were his and his only? It’s a group effort, right? They shared the profits, right? Bleh. Whatever.

Sapphire orbs shifted down to her cute little stufful, a wide smile spread across her glossy lips. “Thank you for accompanying me Stufful,” Ely beamed, still can’t get over how cute the little bear like creature was, “The guy insisted that I have to check on the garden today as ‘payback’ for ‘stealing’ his berries.” The creature let out a huff, not in agreement but more or less because it was a long walk. However, the up and coming coordinator took it as agreement. “Right? He’s such a pain.”

Upon getting close to their garden location, blue eyes widen at the sight of two pokemon battling it out. “Oh no,” she exclaimed, her casual stroll turned into a life or death sprint, “Maverick is going to kill me if they destroy the berries.” The young coordinator began to sprint franticly to the garden location. “Come on Stufful. We need to hurry!” The little bear like pokemon tilted, only to follow after the woman.

“Hey! Stop that! You’re going to ruin the berry trees! Stooooop!” The worn down flapple turned to the sound of a familiar voice, though that proved a bad idea when the lickilicky charged head first into the garden defender with a hard-hitting ZEN HEADBUTT. The power sent Alma several feet away, landing roughly out of the garden and too worn down to get back up. With that one out of the way, the wild pokemon turned to the new defender of the taste food.

“Oh no,” the woman softly whispered to herself, flinching at the sight of the wild pokemon turning its attention to her, “How could something so pink cute be so menacing?” It waggled closer, clearly ready to attack anyone in the way of his treats. “Look here licky,” the pink haired woman proclaimed, stomping her foot into the ground, “You can’t have any of those berries. If you want berries, I got some back home you can eat.” The pink tubby pokemon ignored her. “Fine. Stufful. Take care of it please. Show them the muscle you got.”

The stufful sprang into action. On all fours, it charged towards the bigger pokemon. Its longe thick tongue stretched out, attempting to power whip the little bear pokemon. However, being smaller had its advantages. The stufful dodged the tongue easily, a paw raised as it FORCE PALMed with all its might. The power behind the little critter stranger than the licky thought, stumbling backwards before losing its balance completely and falling over. It let out a cry. “Great work! One more time.”

The wild pokemon’s eyes took on a reddish close, effectively disabling the attack. No fear though, the stufful still TACKLEd the already weakened foe. And with that hard hit tackle, the berry stealer was out cold. Reaching into her pockets, the woman tossed a pokeball at the creature. The ball sucked the pokemon in before locking the wild pokemon in. The sphere fell to the ground with a soft thud, wiggling along the ground. “Pew. That was close.” Her gaze shifted to the berry places, a quick investigation shown that she arrived just in time. Satisfied, Eleanor moved to heal up Alma before heading out.
