It applied here. Fighting fire with fire wasn't the most effcicient means to battle, it tended to take time battling that way but with Adrian's eyeballs mounted to his phone, time was what they had plenty off.

When it was over Chimchar was covered in patches of soot and the Lampent was ripe for the claiming.

How many times could someone tempt you with your vice of choice before your resolve crumbled.

The way she lurched forward, exposing herself in the slightest ways at the slightest angles.

Of course she knew how to entice him; when sagira mosse left for the military a decade ago (to go after her true love) there was no one left to keep Giada at bay.

Aside that is, from the boundaries of legality and bad taste; he was newly-adult and she was years his junior.

Giving it a second look it seemed Sagira wasn't just defying gravity but also his memory of her measurements.

The cave was dark when he'd first seen her again on mission and during that thing with the pop-up stalls he was focused on cooking the food. Only now did he truly notice how much she had changed in the last ten years.

She looked amazing but apparently her life itself wasn't looking as good.

It burned hot enough to scald his ego that she'd left to pursue MATIAS SILPH all those years ago and now here she was back again alone and with a child that was neither of theirs.

Or so he assumed; surely she'd have said something by now if her kid was a Silph.

Which meant, in her list of lovers the highest the redhead had come to rank was third, at best. He made a real attempt not to take it personally. "So who is he?"

It was unsettling how easy it was get blood and ink on a white suit. Once you put on all-white you became acutely aware of all the potential stains you were vulnerable to.

With all he had going on in his life, Giada was a big splash of crimson waiting to happen.

As far as he was concerned he'd rubbed off on her in that way, but maybe he was just projecting.

He couldn't take credit for every bold beau-breaking beauty out in the tall grasses of the world.

-that was what made giada morgan unique to him.

Scaling it back a bit after the wild capture, a focused POISON FANG, from Te'rawr was all that was required to put a little solosis out of its consciousness.

Score.

A premiere ball stored it away for safety and developmental training.

With her in his arms his heart sank comfortably. His creme colored slacks were camouflage against the scotch mist coloring of the sands he kneeled in.

The fact that her skin was touching his nostrils didn't make her scent any more prominent in his mind.

It lived in his thoughts always, he could smell Cait at will.

It was the weight of her as they embraced in the sand, touch was the sense that made the moment eternal.

"The dinner; days. The proposal; minutes." He fought against the urge to return her kisses in kind. He had to make it make sense. "I believe in you." he shook his head just as quickly. "I believe in us." From the side a hand rubbed at the hardening shell protecting the twins.

Watching as he did meant he was the last to get to the canoes, but he wasn't the last to get in.

Kazimir Wynter seemed to have the same idea he did as, only more spacious and seemingly slower.

Originally his line was, "Mine's faster than yours." but he kept it to himself.

But a pissing contest was hard to call in a flood. So he avoided that outcome entirely.

He did want to ride it out solo, between SURF, GRAVITY, and TELEPORT he would have liked to see if he could manage but something about potentially debating over who gets to risk their lives felt like bad leadership and hapless behavior.

Shuriken spun its backside, chopping through the water to keep him afloat. A stepping pad, the seastar was as the Head Ranger jumped in the RIGHT canoe wedging himself in the rear most spot behind who? Laurence Anderson yeah lets say it was Laurs.

Quickly enough he gave his starmie some direction; orders to teleport the three other clamperl back to dahlia goode and return.

He even give it a time parameter. "Ten Seconds." It was gone before could pronounce the 'con'.

Over the side of the right canoe he asked, Kazimir Wynter _ pointing to the left. "You're not gonna waste that last seat are you?" Was it the last seat? Where the hell was kim cole-essam ?

He put his back to the wall when skyler dross was being spurned on to touch the wall. Keeping his eye on both chambers from the side. The 'gem of the sea' at his command acted as a floodlight to both sides.

Arms crossed, he observed until it came to him to do otherwise.

The opening of the Clamperl was what finally jarred his sense of smell. Hoenn's air was fresh and he got plenty of it these days but Mt. Cinnabar farted sulfur over the island he grew up on a few times a year.

Meanwhile Mt. Coronet put the snow in Snowpoint City over in Sinnoh.

Apparently only air-sealed death, freshly unsealed could trump that; yay.

It turned out he was wrong about the shells triggering a flood mechanism he watch the four open the shells in their different ways and reactions and subsequently take the poisons and prizes yielded; a microcosm of the luck at play.

Four attempts, four results.

Raziel Beckett and John Sullivan got one each. FERNANDO SILPH got neither. angelo vestri got both.

The green clamperl coloring wasn't lost on him, not much he could do concerning it now.

-wasn't much time from when Dross touched the veins to Melody Miro touching the mirrored walling.

Paranoid about a flood already he reacted to the glass quick; attempting to grab at Melody to pull her from the path of the water's pressured entry. "I was gonna buy you a steak, but this makes us even."
