he finds himself making his way over to where many people have gathered after the giant christmas tree falls and whoever was controlling it had fallen as people surround the body of the female general and her slobbering and snivling excuse of a person that was her "husband" or hwatever kind of relationship they had. despite the fact that they did try to kill everyone kaine was at least interested in sparing him. even if the league locked him up he was certain rocket could at least whisk him away from his holding cell and bring him to their hideout. that or the offer to go and slit his throat in his sleep could find its way to kaine if they realize he's nothing but a lost cause to them. either way his future was sure to be hell on this earth from here on now.

above the groudon the team of scyther and shiftry were hitting their marks they managed to anger the mighty beast as it stomped along the ground and pillars of lava shot up from where it stood as it raised its hands to protect its master. scyther was much more nimble thanks to its boosted evasivness from the double team so it weaved through the pillars and shot forward with a quick attack before groudon could protect bailey and aimed a slice with its blade to the champions midsection.

as it flew by it had deposited the shiftry who ran as quick as it could to reach the champion as the large paw of the legendary clasped onto its avatar, the shiftry stabbed the hand with its fingers as it tried to hold back the hand with whatever measly strength it had compared to the beast and looked at the champion in the eyes. its face screaming only one thing to her if she could even understand the cold stare that it gave.

with that its body began to shimmer and glow with white light. in some twisted minds murder was an art that many liked to dabble in. refine. perfect. one was using a body for a canvas after all. kaine wasn't quite like those, he didn't consider himself artistic in any sense of the word, still he appreciated fine work and would dedicate this to one of his favorite artist, who as they say...

as his ditto reverts back to normal the group of kaine and his pokemon suddenly feel lighting surge through their bodies as they all collapse to the ground. the ninja struggles to get onto his feet in time to see the large towering beast starting to topple over. at least that was being dealt with, but now he needed to get away from it as soon as possible. looking around the only other thing of notice was the aireal battles happening above and the towering groudon that was duking it out with the ultra beast. that was...unexpected. you two. go and see who's controlling that large red one. if you fine them, take them out."

no one in rocket had attained that kind of power, so someone had to have tamed it somehow. some random citizen, a league official? didn't matter, having something like that around would be bad for rocket, besides he needed to destress and nothing like some good old assault would help. so his shiftry clung onto his scyther as it flew into the sky, duplicating itselt thanks to a double team to create a swarm of bugs that flew around the ground type legendary beast. once close enough the shiftry waved its hand around to summon a leaf tornado that would try to engulf Bailey Cooper and cut into her skin with a hundred tiny paper cuts.

as the shocks of the large beast's electricty send his two pokemon reeling back it isn't enough for kaine to consider even backing down. as he replayed the strike in his head he did notice that a certain tactic seemed to work, and seeing the lone wire flailing about separate from the main body was enough to strengthen the resolve for his idea. "venomoth, tear off that wire. scyther, shiftry, cut down that thing's leg again. this time stay away from it."

with his command the venomoth used its psychic energies on the wire to try and tear it off the beast. surely a sample of it would prove useful in some shape or form at least, and even if it didnt well...his ditto did manage to change into something alien that was for sure. his other two pokemon got to work on their ranged assault, scyhter slashing at the air with an air slash to try and shred away at the leg and tear off more wires with shiftry joining its efforts with a second leaf tornado. it was probably dangerous to cut wires this way but doing dangerous things came with the job after all.

kaine stared at the small claw that waddled around him with the same indifferent smile of a ditto on it. well, at least it worked on some level. albiet it was probably not the most helpful. not especially as the both of them fell to the ground as the earth shook and out of the ground rose up a large mass of cables and balls of lightning that towered over the entire cycling road. "full of surprises i see....out everyone. you, just change back." the small claw did a bow before changing back to its pink blob state.

kaine took out his last two pokeballs and released their contents from their quick respite. "cut down that large tree of lightning. venomoth blow it down with signal beam." his pokemon were quick on the uptake as his scyther cut with an x-scissor and his shiftry used leaf blade on the beasts legs while venomoth fired off a signal beam to knock it off balance.

"you lost?" said a voice from within the shadows of the maze. kaine had been investigating the warehouses in the area for anything of use to rocket, so far it was just the usual supplies of potions and ethers. what he didn't expect to find was someone wandering around here on their lonesome and them not looking like they really belonged around here. could just be a lost soul, so it was a good thing that he was disguised as a warehouse worker so he could pass off just doing some security rounds.

"place isn't for random folks to be wandering around, you could really hurt yourself y'know." hurt himself or kaine could hurt him himself if it came to that, of course that was just a last minute option if need be. "do you need to find your way back or what? can't have you hanging around here." it would jeopardize his mission after all.

"did she really just do that to herself?" coating herself in poisonous sludge was something that the ninja couldn't believe that someone would willingly do that to themselves. neither could the enemy as they took a moment to pause and watch in curiosity as the sludge was pulled back and the girl ended up being just fine as well as accompanied by a large mutated glalie. "oh no. get down!" kaine cried out to his pokemon as he recalled them as he hid behind a tent as the blizzard picked up and started to freeze the entire area around them. a surefire tactic to stopping their enemies but it did seem like it was going a bit overboard.

guess that was the plan for tonight wasn't it.

taking out another pokeball he released his ditto and pointed at the mega-glalie, "that. hit them with a blizzard as well." the ditto gave a salute and mutated its body until it was a near perfect copy of the floating ice chunk save for the dotted face it carried. floating into the other side of the camp it unleashed its own blizzard into the enemy forces to trap them in a vortex of ice. "keep it up! freeze them solid!"

as the path is cleared the sight of the terrain forming up around the power plant was the tell tale signs that something was happening over there. then a giant portal opened up in teh sky above them followed by meteors and more nagadaniels and floating cubes oh my! "tch. scyther return. shiftry, venomoth, protect us." the two got to work with the grass type forming a swirling leaf tornado around the group to deter foes from approaching them while the venomoth flew up to the mouth of the storm and aimed a gust at the incoming meteors to try and alter their path to make them miss them.

kaine then took out another pokeball and released his ditto that looked up at kaine. the ninja pointed at the large guzzlord that was still up and kicking the rest of the league forces, "transform into that." could the ditto even do that? having such a beast on their side would probably tip the scales in their favor even if it was an alien. so with a little dance the ditto started to morph its body to try and mimic the physiology of the guzzlord.

more nagadanels, two of them, were approaching the duo quick but were met with a gust from kaine's venomoth who managed to stall them in the air as his scyther got to work. a couple of x-scissors might not have beeen enough to take down down normally so incapacitating them by cutting their wings was just as good. "if only we could take some of these with us. should fetch a good price or the joy of one of the mad scientists back at the lab." the ninja mumbled to himself as he snapped the arm of a megalopan who cried out in pain and rolled around in the dirt. it made them look pathetic as a whole.

"hard to believe these people want to invade us." maybe they just got lucky and found the most pathetic lot of them all. still they were troublesome, mostly their ultra beasts who despite having a severed wing were still shooting poison at them. "little help over here!" he yelled out as his scyther was busy swatting away the poison with his claws while his venomoth blasted them with another helping of stun spore to stop them in their tracks.

"i've been in since the beginning. kanto to be exact." it wasn't a secret he was going to hide but it wasn't information he would outright give to be written down on paperwork somewhere. if info ever got leaked out the less that's known about him within the organization the better, of course he still needed to reveal enough that they would even let him stay. he was only as useful as his skills after all and he did have to give the other man credit, his skill in taking down the poisonous snake sure was something.

"i joined that branch and after we took over i was moved to here in hoenn. simple as that." just as simple as it was to spot the scraggy hiding in the trash bin. his scyther was quick to rush over with a quick attack to knock it out of the bin and give it a good few slashes to knock it out cold so kaine could throw a pokeball at it and capture it. "i work in espionage and sabotage by the way. so if your hunting for some info or need someone dealt with you can come to me." advertisement helped him score a few more jobs. gotta make a living somehow.

as the car flew over the railing kaine was lucky enough that he was on the outside able to see everything that was coming right for them; the ground and the guzzlord. he managed to jump off of the truck just as it was about to hit the ground and was lucky enough to roll out of its path as it tumbled, although the dirt that caked his body was probably a less welcome feeling it was better than being crushed by steel. as trainers pour out as well as a familiar scientist the ninja got to his feet and witnessed the guzzlord charging right at them. there was no way he was dealing with that.

"scyther, carry us away." the truck was a lost cause at this point in his eyes. best they could do was press on which is what he did with his scyther grabbing hold of him and dashing off with a quick attack to put as much distance between him and the giant beast. ahead wasn't as great as megalopian forces stood in their path, but with a flick of the wrist he sent out another pokemon to help deal with them, a shiftry. "blow them away."

both the venomoth and shiftry flapped their wings and spread their arms as a gust of wind and a series of blades made of air flew forward to knock away the forces blocking their path. the power plant was in sight so he hoped that some of these people would just mind their own gosh darn business.

from the top of the van kaine was able to get a good view of the speeding battlefield and the horrors that the team on the path were facing. for a moment he felt lucky that he wasn't part of their group as they tried to stave off a rampaging beast, however one look back onto the road and he could only question who was more luckier. them or his own group. after all the ground team didn't have to deal with one of those large creatures trying to break down the road with its strange appendages as well as firing off a hyper beam at them. "get down!"

his scyther and venomoth hug each other in a cluster on top of the van as its moving while everything is firing off on their end. "scyther, go low and try to tear off its arm-tongue-whatever that is. venomoth quiver dance. we need some extra power if this doesn't work." the venomoth let go of the van and fluttered behind it in a quiver dance to psych itself up should it be part of a rescue if the van started to fall. meanwhile scyther rolled off and flew his way towards the guzzlord with his blades drawn and locked onto one of the tongues from the beast and slashed at it with an x-scissor to try and tear it off of the bridge and probably sever it as well.

origami creatures suddenly burst through the forest and began to swarm nearly every inch of the battlefield trying to slice into everyone here. it felt like kaine's had a dream like this before with a bunch of origami swanna, it was an odd feeling to see it come true in some form.

as the van is secured he has his scyther carry him to on top of the van to be its lookout for anything from right above them. "blow them away." he ordered his venomoth who replied with a gust of wind to blow away all the origami creatures that got too close to the van as it fluttered around.

"be sure to scare them off, but don't get hit. double team." this time it was an order for his scyther to use another double team to spread out a swarm of after images around the van as it started up. seeing the vehicle heavily fortified might make more of these creatures wary of even coming close to it with its already heavy fortifications thanks to the rest of the trainers positioning their pokemon around it. it made the van feel like a tank than an actual supply vehicle, hopefully it would be just as safe as one.
