This day just got a whole lot worse. He was officially exposed as a Rocket, right in front of some psycho old man.

The Metagross doesn't take the bait. Instead, the toxified automaton grabbed Andrew with their Toxic Chain. Once Andrew was on their back, the Metagross immediately bounded off towards the nearest Rocket outpost. Screech followed closely behind, making sure to cover their escape.

As the group fled, Andrew felt sick to his stomach. He wanted to scream so badly. After all the work he put into keeping his connections to Rocket a secret, to the point where not even his detractors seemed to know, it was all over. His life was officially over.

Andrew watched in horror as one of the grunts was gunned down in cold blood. The point-blank Hydro Pump was all that was needed to finish off the Charizard.

The corrupted Metagross remained focused as they primed themselves to take out the Kleavor. The automaton took the blow of the Stone Axe without flinching, before smashing the insect with their Meteor Mash, taking him out.

The Archeops was grazed by the bullet, crying out in pain and rage. Despite this, the toxified, ancient bird still stood, and was pissed, more than anything.

Andrew visibly flinched as he watched his fellow grunt get killed by the Houndstone. Just who the hell did he bring to them!?

"Acting!? What the fuck are you talking about, you fucking psycho!?", Andrew questioned the man. One last chance to salvage his act. That was when the Houndstone rushed over towards him, ruining his chances at a civilian life.

Screech jumped between the two, shielding his master from the hound's wrath, and attempted to stop him dead in his tracks with a Rock Slide.

Andrew quickly recalled his fallen Charizard, while his Metagross closed in, ready to defend Andrew.

The Charizard is hit in the head with the Water Pulse. This caused the flying lizard to become confused, his movement erratic.

"Dammit, pull yourself together! Slash!", the grunt ordered.

The Charizard attempted to charge towards th Inteleon. Instead, the Charizard ended up falling to the ground, hurting himself. The grunt fell off, groaning and vulnerable to whatever came next.

"Watch out, Stealth Rocks!", the second grunt warned the others.

As the Kleavor charged them, the Metagross raised one of their arms. Said arm came down towards the Kleavor with a brutal Meteor Mash, attempting to smash the insect.

Meanwhile, the Archeops attempted to attack the detective with a Toxic Swing of his chain.

Unfortunately for Andrew, running his mouth was to be his downfall. Even if their exchange was a hostile one, the Houndstone could've picked up on it, thus exposing him to the League. As his 'hostage taker' attempted to bind him, the Houndstone rammed into her, sending her flying.

"U-uh, thanks?", Andrew weakly called out to the undead hound, instead of just running under the cover of all the chaos.

"You two will have plenty of time to befriend each other in the hole!", the Grunt jeered at the detective.

The grunt riding the Charizard swiftly banks to the left of the oncoming Hydro Pump, dodging the burst of water. Unfortunately, this left them with little time to react to the Kleavor's X-Scissor. Thankfully, such an attack was easy enough for the Charizard to shrug off.

"Fire Spin!", the Grunt ordered.

The Charizard conjured up a Fire Spin. Not aimed towards the Kleavor that struck him. Towards the Inteleon, who attempted to snipe him.

A second Rocket grunt, holding a purple Pokeball with a skull logo on it, tossed the ball to the ground. A Metagross with Toxic Chains wrapped around their limbs emerged. Sinking their claws into the earth below, the toxified automaton warped the battlefield into a Toxic Terrain.

In the brush, as the action was going on, Andrew looked at his Archeops with angry eyes. "Was that fuckin' neccessary!?", Andrew grilled the bird. The Archeops let out an angry caw, as if to tell him this was payback for all the failures, all the humiliation he endured in the past. He then got off of his true master, before emerging from the brush, and calling down a Rock Slide on the opposing Pokemon.

A third Rocket grunt took over from where the Archeops started. She began to bind Andrew's wrists together with zipties, before forcing him back to his feet.

Andrew desperately struggled to find Screech's Pokeball. His eyes widened, his limited movements becoming more frantic as he heard the command. Finally, he got to the Pokeball, tapping the unconscious Archeops with it.

As the green hound approached, Andrew finally released his Charizard. The lizard let out a growl of pain as the Outraged Zygarde assailed him, taking the blow for his master. The flaming lizard glowered at the mysterious Pokemon, ready for a battle.

"Smokecreen and let's fuckin' book it!", Andrew called out.

Disappointed, but ultimately compliant, the Charizard bellowed out a cloud of smoke. He then grabbed Andrew, and flew off as quickly as he could.

"Thanks, buddy.", Andrew groaned to the Charizard. The prideful beast growled irately at him, not too happy with having been denied glorious battle.

"I'll make it up to you, okay? I'll get you your favorite treats when we get back.", Andrew began. The Charizard growled, clearly not satisfied with the offering. "Fine, I'll take you to challenge a Gym.", he added.

The Charizard let out a satisfied growl, and flew back to Petalburg. Back to get much needed medical attention.

For the first time in a long time, Andrew wasn't livestreaming himself in public. No, he simply stepped out of his depressing apartment, in order to get something to eat. Following the insanity around Petalburg, along with dealing with his usual trolls, Andrew needed a break. But the debt wasn't going to pay itself off.

Perhaps some ramen could take his mind off of his self-inflicted troubles.

As he approached a ramen shop, he noticed a younger woman gazing at him. "Uh, can I help you?", Andrew asked her.

She quickly revealed to him that she recognized him. This was either a good, or bad thing. Meeting genuine fans was always cool. On the other hand, most of these encounters had been trolls, attempting to mess with him in some capacity.

"Just to let you know, I'm not streaming any of this shit, so if you're here to stream snipe me, you caught me at the wrong time.", Andrew blurted out, followed by his signature snort.

"Wow, what a fuckin' asshole! I just had to flag down a fuckin' nerd, didn't I!?", Andrew thought to himself, in frustration. Despite thinking of the man as an asshole, he had to begrudgingly admit that the man was smart to be suspicious.

"Come on, man!", Andrew protested pathetically, on the verge of tears.

"I know, I know! I just couldn't sit around with my thumbs up my ass, while my friend is probably in trouble!", Andrew responded to the man's cold remark.

"A-alright.", Andrew stammered nervously, as he relucantly lead the way to where the attack happened.

"It was here that I got accosted by those t-", Andrew began, before a Toxic Chain violently wrapped itself around his ankle. Andrew was thrown face-first to the ground. The streamer uselessly clawed at the grass and dirt, as the tendril dragged him off into the brush.

"HELP ME!", Andrew screamed hysterically.

Aiding the mysterious Toxic Chain wielder was a Rocket Grunt on the back of a Charizard. The flying lizard attempted to prevent Nikita's Pokemon from intervening, by raining Dragon Breath down onto their position.

"Can't believe that moron stuck around! And he even brought a friend, how adorable!", the grunt jeered.

Andrew's joy was short lived. As the mysterious green hound forced themselves out of the Pokeball, Andrew found himself in shock. He did not know of any Pokemon that looked like that one.

"What the fuck is that thing!? WOAH!!!!", Andrew exclaimed in his shock.

The Archeops, too occupied with his attempted attack on the trainer, couldn't react in time. He found himself crunched down on. A sqwak of pain was heard, before the Zygarde forcefully tossed him to the ground.

The Archeops bounced off the ground, colliding violently into the Rocket thug. The Archeops soon lost consciousness, practically pinning Andrew down.

"Fuck.", Andrew moaned, as he groped around for another Pokeball to use.

As expected, the dragon managed to survive the Rock Slide. In retaliation, the beast charged the Toxic Chained Archeops, smacking it back towards Andrew.

"Oh fuck!", Andrew exclaimed, as he ran to the right to avoid the Archeops colliding into him.

When Andrew got done scrambling away, he noticed the Mega Charizard revert back to normal, and collapse to the ground. He didn't know why the dragon fell like it did, but he was grateful nonetheless.

The masked grunt started laughing. "Get fucked, nerd!", Andrew jeered at the man.

As Andrew would soon find out, taunting the Draconid about his companion was a huge mistake. He was about to find out the hard way that his trash talk would likely spell his doom.

The Archeops got back to his feet. Thanks to his Toxic Chain repressing the normally cowardly tendencies of the species, the Archeops was no longer a defeatist. The ancient avian attempted to capitalize on the moment, and lashed out at the other trainer with a Toxic Swing of his chain.

The detective seemed unmoved by his sob story. Internally, Andrew was marveling at what an asshole the detective was. If anything, it made the streamer feel little to no remorse for what he planned to do. Almost like the older man deserved what he'd get.

The presence of the Inteleon complicated things. One wrong move, and he'd take a water bullet to the head. Even an idiot like him knew better than to trifle with such a Pokemon.

"I was looking for a friend in Petalburg. Heard about the invasion, and had been trying to get with her for a while after that. League couldn't give me answers, so I had to find out for myself, if they were okay.", Andrew explained to the man. "Her name is Junko Arai."

Junko Arai being an actual missing person from Petalburg. Someone who, at the time, was yet to be found. Whether she died, was held prisoner, or managed to keep low was unknown to the League.

In reality, she was one of the many civilians who got captured during the takeover of Petalburg. She was still alive, being used as a bargaining chip for Rocket's ends. Something he was thankful for. She was one of his top donors, and had no intention of losing her.

"And all my dumb ass managed to do was get my Pokemon stolen by those fuckin' thugs!" Andrew muttered, his head hanging low in shame.
