Sensitive, black and cyan ears twitch at the sound of the Aerodactyl’s proud screech; spurring the second sky bound blur to release a huff of air from his snout. As close to a frustrated sigh as a creature could manage. [break][break]

In a small flock of four, they sail over sparkling blue waters and the occasional teasing sight of lush green peeking through the clouds, traversing through the tropical Hoenn scenery that looks like its been lifted straight off a postcard. There’s no real destination in mind and Angelo finds he likes it that way; enjoying the way the wind brushes against his skin, his lungs filled with crisp air as they soar towards no particular island. Simply relenting to the call to adventure whenever curiosity flares. Doing whatever they want. [break][break]

“What’re you waiting for then?” He calls back as Remiel gestures towards an expanse of verdant that has caught his eye, grinning as a spike of enthusiasm tingles. A hand reaches up to adjust the pair of goggles over his eyes – a new and welcomed piece of equipment – before he pats against the white mane of his Noivern in encouragement. “Lets go!”

There’s a toothy grin on his face as Angelo slips off the back of Vega, giving the dragon a firm pat on the neck to praise him for reaching the ground first, stealing the victory from Remiel in their unspoken race. His heart is still thundering a little; high as if he were still among the clouds. “I thought you said you’d been doing this since you were a kid?” He can’t help but rub the Galarian’s face in it, just a little. “Losing to a fresh flier’s got to be embarrassing.” [break][break]

Pulling his goggles down so they hung loose around his neck, Angelo intertwines his fingers together and pushes his palms skywards above his head, stretching the tightness out of his muscles from their flight. Before them is a looming jungle, surrounding a mountainous expanse in the centre. It’s been a while since he’s been on an island like this and although the company is different from back then, Angelo is still filled with the same desire to explore. No indulging on tequila and shady mushrooms this time, though… [break][break]

“Hope there’s no Parasect swarm on this one,” his nose crinkles, tickling at the memory of their earlier island encounter as it chased them out of the woods with spores. He'd crossed that island out of his notebook, not too keen on revisiting. “C'mon then, Rem. It's not going to un-chart itself.” With a smack on the back of Remiel's shoulder, his feet eagerly push him towards the edge of the jungle, Vega gliding just behind his trainer.[break][break]

“Turbulence?” He pauses, grin sneaking onto his lips. “Is that what the sore losers are calling it, these days?”[break][break]

Adjusting the straps of his backpack over his shoulders to ensure they’re secure, Angelo’s gaze drifts for a brief moment towards Remiel; watching as his companion starts taking photographs of the landscape, before turning his attention towards the sprawling range of the mountainous island as well. It’s too good of a view to observe through the small screen of a phone. [break][break]

“So, I’ve been meaning to ask,” he calls over his shoulder as he walks ahead, purposefully deciding to step atop a fallen log that fringes the beginnings of the jungle, rather than extend his long legs over it. Angelo remains there for a brief moment, blue eyes scanning over the stretch of jungle from the elevated perch, vision peeled for a path that seemed the most interesting. [break][break]

“What exactly are you looking for?” So, maybe he had agreed to come along without asking for the full details but what was he meant to do when Remiel approached him, asking if he wanted to spend his day off work adventuring? [break][break]
