The time it takes to get from point A to point B almost ruins the mood.[break][break]

Almost, because King is a trifling motherfucker, but not entirely because it has been a long time since she's relaxed enough to enjoy herself. He's offering her an out, offering her a chance to indulge without strings.[break][break]

He leads her to the kitchen island, fingertips expert in guiding her to the stool. She leans against it, but her focus is on him, on the way his lips brush hers while he speaks. She can almost feel his ask before the sound reaches her ears.[break][break]

"Do you ever stop talking?"[break][break]

She growls, pursuing the heat of his breath to silence him with her bite. She was a woman of action.

The silence is measured in noisy breathing, in the shuffle of feet against tile. No words, only movement, only the squeak of the stool dragging. His fingertips bite, pinching skin to hoist her onto the counter. It is cold, washing her in goosebumps, and she pulls at his shirt to free him.[break][break]

words die on his lips, emma's teeth claiming them for her own. and for once, he doesn't dare to pull himself free, or fight against it. he welcomes to the silence, filling it with the sound of their uneven, quickened breathing.

hands keep a steady grip on her hips, fingers wrapping greedily around flesh. wanting fills him, and he pulls her closer, positioning legs to either side of him as their bodies collide. there would be nothing that'd stop him from taking what he wanted.

beneath her touch his shirt falls away, revealing the large, pink scar that covers most of his chest. a reminder that he was alive now, to experience this. to, just for a moment, embrace a side of him that he keeps caged. as if encouraged by her probing, his grip tightens further.

her skin may have been porcelain, but she was far from a fragile doll.

and king would test just how true that was.

There is nothing gentle about the crash of their bodies. They are two desperate, angry souls in search of something to fill a void. What this was was temporary, a taste of bittersweet victory.[break][break]

To relieve pressure and stake claim, Emma shifts against the counter to wrap her legs- guided by his hands roughly pulling her close- to wrap around his waist. The shirt comes off and is tossed to the side, catching on the stool and slipping to the floor.[break][break]

And her palm finds the scar on his chest, nails tracing the edges where it lifts. [break][break]

Emma deepens the kiss, legs tightening around him.

the pressure of her legs around his waist only quickens his pulse, and he embraces her kiss as it deepens. but, he is also hungry for something more.[break][break] king breaks away as a hand roughly grabs her chin, moving in to allow the frenzied hunger to satiate itself on her neck. her smooth skin is bruised and marked beneath his bite —— lingering reminders of him and his claim.

the growl that crawls up his throat is primal, and filled with all the frustration and wanting of their many interactions. it releases itself in a hot breathe against her throat, and his lips can't help but form into a savage grin.

Emma's eyes remain focused on his face, attention only broken by his hand capturing her chin. He descends upon her neck, devouring her. It prompts a sigh, and she tilts her head back to allow him easier access. [break][break]

Meanwhile, her hand travels down, expertly unbuckling, unbuttoning, unzipping while he continues working on her. He growls against her throat, and it is a noise that she can feel the rumble through his entire body, starting at his chest. He was an animal, uncaged, unhinged.[break][break]

Bruises blossom where his teeth nip and tug. He's leaving her a reminder. She can feel his smile press against her skin, and she chooses to pursue it. The belt is tugged sharply, pulled through with ease, never catching. The subtle cover-up she wears to accessorize her bathing suit slips past her shoulders, revealing exponentially more canvas, previously riddled with scars and memories and reminders.

her hand travels down his naval, but he pays no attention to it. his lips trail down her skin, and onto her shoulder; a pathway littered with with little, sharp reminders of his presence, each and every one. any marks that mar her flesh are treated with the same, wild approach. she'd forget the ones that marked her past, even if only just for tonight, for he would make new ones.

She meets his gaze with her own; fierce and steady against his crazed and bloodthirsty. Her skin burns with every sharp kiss, hot to the touch. His hand reaches for her throat and he would find her pulse steady, just the same as it had been the first time. Though her heart thunders with the taste of him, it is not erratic or wild. There is no fear, only anticipation.[break][break]

He makes a promise, sealed with his arms pulling her from her perch to carry her into the dark. The door slams behind them and her shoulders meet the softness of blankets. [break][break]

Emma smiles, slipping from the passive position she had held. She twists, dominating him in return. It would be a very, very long night indeed.

sunlight peeks through the shades, illuminating the once dimly lit room further. a sheen of sweat glistens on exposed skin, the bedsheet just barely covering him beneath the waist. he makes no effort to get dressed, or fix the slipping linen as he props himself onto one side, and lights a cigarette.

Her eyes are closed but her mind is awake. Exhaustion weighs on her heavily, leaving her motionless and lost in her own head. Grief feels like a cold stone in her chest, unshakable. It brings her wave after wave of guilt, burned away only by the smell of cigarette smoke and the sun blinking through the blinds.[break][break]

King shifts next to her, pulling away the warmth. The sheets fall away from her to cling to him, but she is not the least bit concerned. [break][break]

Emma's body is riddled with bruises and fresh scratches. Her body aches with a familiar, dull throb, but it is one she does not regret. The woman exhales softly as she sits up to take his extended offer, the cigarette burns and she twists to avoid spilling ash in the bed, back exposed to the man in full.

his first sign of life comes in the form of admiring her form. porcelain skin marked laid bare, marked by him in wild abandon. every curve and muscle was clear to him, and with a grin, he moves closer, pressing his body against hers just enough to peek over her shoulder.

Emma is mid-exhale when his body presses up against hers. The woman hums, a satisfied smirk pressing to her cheek as her hand wielding their shared bad habit is drawn to his lips. It is a surprisingly intimate gesture, one she finds herself leaning into and encouraging.[break][break]

He exhales the smoke near her face, and then his teeth find purchase in her shoulder, pressing into pre-existing bruises. It elicits a slight groan, a familiar ache, a craving. The response he receives from her is immediate, with her head tilting to capture his lips and invade his senses.[break][break]

Did she have enough for another.. tch. Who did he think he was talking to?
