It was only by a stroke of luck that Isra was in the area, made her the perfect person to respond to an emergency call concerning a fire in a nearby temple. It seemed a select handful where having a little too much fun with the yearly festivities. Regardless it seemed local authorities needed a little more than what they had to handle the fire that was erupting inside the building. People where already spilling out and scattering.

Wonderful.

"Move along, clear out and get away from the building. Keep your heads low and avoid the smoke." her voice was booming and clear, the hint of authority fit well with the stern look on her face. Most listened as she pushed her way through the crowds towards the burning building. It needed to be doused and she'd been alerted to an array of objects inside the building that were to be saved if at all possible.

She turned back to the crowd, only addressing those that were milling about. "Any one and everyone with a water type that's not already out, do what you can to start dousing the flames, now!" with a flick of her wrists as she turned back tot he building her own pokemon were released, recent additions that filled in what had been a gaping hole in her repertoire.

The goodra cooed and the Milotic almost seemed to scoff as they both stood beside her. With a quick set of whistles her pokemon moved into action to make way for human hands in the fire. The goodra called forth a rain with her rain dance, the Milotic dousing the side of the building with her hydro pump. Isra just needed the fire under control enough to safely enter the building with her Gardevoir.

Ambrose eyed the burning building with a slight crease in his brow. Hopefully the artifacts inside would be okay — getting them out with minimal smoke and water damage would be difficult. Isra, he noted, took efficient action at the scene. His eyes watched a young girl trip and fall as she stumbled away, and he looked to his Primarina awaiting orders.
[break][break]"Go," he said. The Primarina nodded, moving to help by using Hydro Pump, and Ambrose knelt beside the girl.
[break][break]"Are you alright?" he asked. The girl sniffled, then nodded. Her hands were a little scraped, but otherwise fine. Ambrose gave a gentle smile. "Okay. Get a band-aid on that," he said, before turning to Isra.
[break][break]"Once the fire's died down, I can send in another Pokemon," he says, looking to her for an opinion.

The swift aid of a passerby is more than pleasing as Isra has no way of knowing how many other league members are in the area and capable of responding fast enough to impact the outcome of the fire.

"We haven't got that kind of time." Isra was far more daring than her lady like demeanor tended to suggest. She didn't need the fire out all together, just enough for her team to be able to do something about it. "Get them out now and get ready if you're planning to do anything but dull the flame." Ira was confident that by the time they were done talking the pokemon would have enough of the fire minimized to allow them to start entering the building. Even if they couldn't go all the way in yet they could grab who and what was accessible now.

Her gesture insists that the goodra continue her dancing, closer to the building to ensure a consistent downpour. Her Milotic calmed its hydro pump as she released her Gardevoir. A sharp whistle and the psychic type went into action. A delicate mist went over the area, her misty terrain would help minimize damages as they entered the building and the instruction to use her heal pulse would do the same, not to mention the aid to other passerby it would off.

In the next step she was stepping out of her heels and sprinting into the building, glad to be in pants instead of a dress for once. It didn't matter how far she made it in as long as it was far enough to start making progress, she'd get those closest to the exit out first. Her gardevoir and Milotic following behind her, the Milotic to deal with the fire and her Gardevoir to continue minimizing damages.

Ambrose nodded at Isra's response. Clear, concise, and perhaps a little risky, but doable. He wasn't thinking of going in himself, of course. That'd be unwise.
[break][break]Ambrose released his Riolu. The woman's Gardevoir cast a misty terrain, and soon the woman herself was running into the building. It was enough to make Ambrose start. Didn't she know? Burning buildings were prone to collapse, never mind if they were doused.
[break][break]How reckless. Remaking his plans of letting his Riolu enter without him, he gestures for the pokemon to follow as he braves inside, following behind Isra at a brisk pace.

Isra is well aware of the risks, and that is why the Gardevoir stays close to her person, watching the surroundings closely as the Milotic is more Precise with her water gushes, seeking larger fires than not and seeking to stamp out the bulk of the flame.

Once inside the building she releases her typhlosion, its natural resistance to fire allowing it to better navigate ahead and act as a scouting pokmeon to alert her to people. The quick series of whistles and hand gestures conveys this game plan to the pokemon and he splits from the group, seeking hiding human and pokemon personal of the building. He'll yell when he finds people. In the mean time Isra seeks the main room and any artifacts that were on display.

Its is at this point she turns to her would be helper. "Are you familiar with the floor plan of the building?" She seems impervious to her surroundings, calm as steel. She's never really been in the shrines and temples of the region however and has no idea which rooms are most likely to contain the artifacts they need to save as well as the people.

In that moment she is grateful she has bee followed, if they know anything that might save them some time.

Ambrose purses his lips. "Vaguely," he replies, choosing not to explain that he's been here before as a photographer. Time is of the essence. And considering her demeanor, the woman would much prefer to opt for haste than a full story.
[break][break]"The main artifacts lie down this hallway," he says, starting towards the widest hall. "I'll send my Riolu to grab the few smaller ones lying throughout the building." Ambrose snaps his fingers and the Riolu runs off.

"Good." the woman nods. A set of whistles moves her pokemon in action, the milotic direscting herself towards the artifacts with her gardevoir shortly behind along side Isra.

Even as a beam falls nearby from the damages of the fire Isra is unnerved, her psychic type responding fast enough to ensure it does not fall on them.

"Havent got much time before this gets especially dicey." she side eyes the othrr individual to see how they are responding. Having more to rescue is not in the game plan.

Ambrose casts the falling beam a glance, the only sign that he's wary of this entire situation, but the look he gives Isra is unshakable.
[break][break]"Then let's finish this quickly," he says calmly as they head for the artifacts. The hallway opens up into a room with artifacts on display, a scattering of old pottery, masks, and ancient tools.
[break][break]Ambrose glances at Isra. "Think we can carry them all?"

Good. She is met with someone capable of keeping it together and she is pleased.

They enter the room and she's already releasing her last 2 pokemon when he asks. "Doesn't matter, if we make another trip we make another trip."

Her whistle is loud of the sound of the fire and smoke, she coughs after but is quick to get it under control with the help of her gardevoir. Her Typhlosion has returned from escorting citizens out and her line up, Milotic, Banette, Typhlosion and a Zweilous are already busy gathering what they can from their displays. The banette carrying what he can to the dragons back and in his arms, the milotic ensuring the fire does not spread closer than it has and her gardevoir lifts artifact and displays into the air with her psychic, opening them up to the other pokemon. She'll carry what she can without losing her ability to respond if need be.

"Do the same, take what we can now. Any thing is better than nothing."

She will be quick leave regardless of whether or not the other is ready.

Ambrose acknowledges her instructions with a dip of his head. He releases his remaining pokemon to help carry out artifacts while he himself stacks several in his arms. As he does so, his Riolu returns and he directs it to go outside with the artifacts.

"Let's go," he says to his pokemon, giving Isra a glance before he starts to head outside with an armload of artifacts.

Isra follows her pokemon out back the way they came, trusting in them completely to keep the two of them safe on their way out and as they near the entrance whistles for her Goodra to meet them part way. The pokemon brings the rain in with her, the water helping to sooth the growing heat that's been putting sweat on their brows and her Gardevoir gives a fresh round of misty terrain to ensure they won't find themselves felled by the smoke lingering in the air.

They make it out and Isra looks over her shoulder, not to so much to be certain the young man makes it out so much as to see what crumbles after their exit. There's no going back in, not that way. And she can only hope that there is no one else stuck inside, because they won't be getting back out.
