He retorts with exactly what she means but she can't find the words to convey what she's trying to get at and her frustration with the situation grows. A part of her wishes it were a different sort of fight, something she has an easier time with. This is harder because she knows the words and the patterns but deciding which route she wants is harder. She doesn't know why. Something about this blue haired asshole gets to her.

"That's what I mean though, in one breath you treat me like a total underling and then the next we're having drinks together so which is it?" she gives him a hard look, still not sure this is what she's getting at but it is a part of it.

Why it bothers her so much she can't be sure.

by now, he realizes that he's hardly going to get any further work done. their conversation's become to engrossing to return to. without turning away, his furthest hand closes the screen to his laptop. the sound of the porygon whining fades away as the computer goes to sleep.

Isra opens her mouth to say something but chooses to bite his tongue at his last comment.

She accepts the drink, downing it if for no other reason than it seems rude to reject it now. She'll spend the night thinking about what he's said and how it doesn't fit with her, how she sees things. and perhaps in many ways how she wants things to be because it's how she likes it.

"So it seems." or perhaps he just has a bad sleep schedule, or a workaholic which can be expected from someone still working even now.

When she looks at him its with a raised brow. "Work, double checking that everything's done and then nothing out of the norm." and the norm for her was dealing with the fact no one else was awake yet and she needed to find a way to kill time.

The woman shrugs. She's never been spoiled before, the thought of it foreign. She knows the concept but not what it would mean. "I'm not sure how one would spoil me to be honest."

She has to think a moment. "I'm not content. Not in the slightest. If I were I wouldn't be here." She doesn't know how else to word it, but it's true none the less. She is not content with the way of things in the slightest.

there's a deviousness to his smirk that implies that the alcohol plays a part to his answer. "i'm not sure yet. you can be a pain sometimes but you get things done. i'm satisfied with your performance and you're not as naive as the others - ideologically, anyway."
