[attr="class","tctext"] The landscape of the Safari Zone was lush and bountiful, appealing to a wide variety of Pokemon. To Elisabeth, it was a pleasant diversion from the rest of the environments of Hoenn; in its plains and valleys, there was a distinct shift in the breezes, and with it a shift in attitude. When the warden handed her three Safari Pokeballs and dismissed her, the resulting solitude amidst all this nature was, in a word, exquisite.[break][break]

All that remained was to see which Pokemon would emerge to greet her.

But I wish you the best of luck in finding a home, truly." She smiled faintly and waved the Pokemon away, walking onwards with all three of her Safari Pokeballs safely placed in her satchel.[break][break]

[attr="class","tctext"] A faint shimmer of heat draws Elisabeth's attention to the Cyndaquil placidly sitting in the field. Normally she wouldn't give it much attention, but there was something... unique about her. "This is a task for Lavender, I think," she said to herself, tossing up a Pokeball to release a Misdreavus.[break][break]
The battle was brief; in a display of smoke and shadow, the Misdreavus finally confused the Cyndaquil into submission, making for easy prey as Elisabeth threw a Safari ball the wild Pokemon's way.[break][break]
"Let's hope it holds," Elisabeth whispered to herself.

[attr="class","tctext"] The Rowlet peeped through the grass ever so slightly in the wake of the battle with the Cyndaquil, drawing the Misdreavus's attention before Elisabeth noticed him. "Why hello there, sweet thing," Elisabeth murmured, her hand gesturing for Lavender to attack once more. "Aren't we lucky to see you?"[break][break]

A HEX and SHADOW BALL each tore through the poor bird-like Pokemon with ease, his RAZOR LEAF merely cutting the Misdreavus's cheek. Another Safari ball was tossed; another bated breath awaited to see if the capture would succeed.[break][break]

[attr="class","tctext"] "There you are, you shy little thing," Elisabeth laughed, coaxing the little Bug-type out of hiding. "Goodness, do you know how long I've been looking for you?"[break][break]

Even the Scatterbug's tenacious BUG BITE was not enough to prevent the much more powerful Misdreavus from subduing her, whimpering at the terrifying pair of HEX and SHADOW BALL. [break][break]

"It'll all be roses from here on," Elisabeth promised, soothing the Bug-type as she threw her last Safari Ball.
