His pace steady and measured, Tianyu walks purposefully through the Safari Zone, his hands clasped behind his back. Posture perfect, gaze dispassionate, the man is accompanied by a sole Ninetales, the vixen striding just two steps before her partner as they make their way through the tall grass together.

"This shouldn't take long," Tianyu observes to Daji, a little snort of irritation letting the man know her thoughts on the matter. Mouth quirking into a half-smile, he calmly continues onwards, absently reviewing the small list of pokemon tied to the current outing in his mind.

Ah, and what was that? Perhaps one of his goals.

A Cherubi revealed itself. Perfect.

"Daji." His voice a low, pointed drawl, Tianyu offers the Ninetales an indulgent smile as her maw opens to spew cinder-bright flames upon the hapless little plant pokemon. A shriek of pain and terror fills the air, the sound silenced by a particularly vicious Extrasensory that seems to knock the Cherubi unconscious, mercifully. He tosses a Safari Ball at the beaten and burned pokemon.

"Thank you, Daji. One down, two to go. Let's continue, shall we?"

His new Cherubi retrieved and secured in the confines of his hanfu, Tianyu lightly strokes his Ninetales's neck before moving on. It isn't long before the toddling form of a Togepi is spotted, the egg-shaped pokemon threatening to topple at a moment's notice.

"Hmm," Tianyu murmurs, his gaze casting downwards to Daji as he affirms. "All yours."

Daji bolts into action with a nasty Spite followed by an inferno, her scarlet eyes reflecting in the brilliant bonfire. With a pleasant nod to the Ninetales Tianyu then moves on, his hands folding behind his back.

As he walks along Tianyu pauses at the sound of scurrying. He arches a single eyebrow, his scarlet gaze casting over the nearby grasses to land upon a female Nidoran popping out just a few feet away.

With a soft huff, the Ninetales steps forwards to challenge the pokemon, the Nidoran cowering a moment before she is struck with an Extrasensory attack. Seeming to smile cruelly as she watches the Nidoran, Daji fires off a Confuse Ray, followed by an Inferno before Tianyu suggests, "I would like her in once piece, please."

Her own scarlet eyes narrowed, Daji looks away as Tianyu tosses a pokeball, his timbre soothing as he offers, "Thank you, Daji."

Collecting the pokeball now filled with a female Nidoran which he promptly tucks away, the alighting of a Fletchling on a nearby branch gives Tianyu pause. Giving a little shake of his head he turns, his hand extending towards Daji to beckon the Ninetales onwards.

"Just one more," he promises the vixen as she trots after the man.

His nose wrinkling at the sight of an Azurill hopping out from the tall grass, Tianyu gives a nod to Daji, the Ninetales taking the blessing wholeheartedly. Pouncing upon the hapless creatures, the Ninetales snarls and breathes out gouts of flame as Tianyu leisurely passes by the distressing scene.

It's not long before Daji returns to his side, her tails wagging rhythmically as a contented look overcomes her sharp features which draws attention away from her blood-tinged paws.

Still one more to go.

Ah, finally.

The appearance of a Ponyta colt rounded off the last of Tianyu's list. With a nod to Daji, the man directs politely, "Extrasensory." The Ninetales nods, her scarlet eyes briefly glowing before her Spite quickly follows, knocking the poor flame-wreathed pony to his knees. Attempting to stagger in the Ninetales's direction for a Take Down, another Extrasensory sensory from Daji leaves the Ponyta dazed and quite easy to pick off with a pokeball.

"Thank you, tai tai," Tianyu drawls warmly to his Ninetales, the pokemon in question preening beneath the attention.
