"from a juice box, to a debate on the ethics of murder. i don't know whether to be impressed, or concerned." he makes a comment on the pad in his lap, before lifting head gaze back up to meet her.

"i do not condone murder of any kind," he speaks firmly, and with a level tone, "but these are decisions are not up to me, you understand. whether or not i agree with the league's choices, the vast majority of which i am not privy too, is a right that's allowed to me. but that right does not extend to challenging the upper echelons of authority. not without just cause."

he lets the words sink in.

"you're concerned, rightly, for the lives of your loved ones. that's a fundamental experience that everyone shares - league, rocket, or otherwise. but no where in that statement did i hear you call out against the injustice that your 'pa' - no, let's call them by their name, Chu-e Choi - is responsible for. the lives they've ruined, that they've taken. and he is just one example of the tyranny that team rocket has nurtured."

MATIAS SILPH very well could be worthy of a prison sentence." he knew matias. the blood-thirsty; the hunger for battle; the anger. it wasn't too far from the reality he knew. Of course with those words, he insinuates so much more that makes her feel sick to even be here. She sighs, putting down her empty juice box before carefully pressing her hands together in a prayer-like position.[break][break]

"I never said he was right in doing those stuff. I know that he helped destroy my home, but you're right in saying that I'll never truly be able to comprehend the full extent of how much despair or hurt he's caused."[break][break]

And in the end, she can barely contain those experiences into her own little bottle. As she takes another deep breath, she begins to rub at the old scars riddling her arms.[break][break]

"But do you even know who Chu-e Choi really is? Why he ended up here? Or would you rather brush that away and say the evil was simply in his nature to begin with?"[break][break]

The gentle kneading of her fingers grows into a soft scratching, as if she might just be able to rid herself of all these marks if she just tries hard enough.[break][break]
