"I dont KNOW!" she blurts out in frustration, her feelings weren't aimed at him this time however but at herself. [break][break]

"I don't know how to navigate these situations! I've never had to make them for myself! My whole life my mom decided everything for me, everything! My clothes, my hair, my schedule! The only thing I got to decide was music!" she says as Melody's past comes to light.[break][break]

"I suffered for years and YEARS to have free will over my life and now I finally have it! But then it's only to realize that now when I have that free will I suddenly cant make any choices!" she says as the tears roll down her face and she stares at her knees as her nails dig into her skin. "I miss it sometimes. Only being happy, not having to think about all the horrible stuff that other people do to me. I've never had to forgive anyone for anything cause I'd just forget it. I don't know how to move on. I don't know how to fix this! It's too hard!" Thunder strikes outside the apartment and the lights flicker in the apartment as Melody tries to wipe her face with her sleeves.

she pauses and stays silent as he places his hand on hers, she felt some weird sense of relief. "You're right. I think." she says as she realizes a future with ollie was less and less likely with every word spoken here. "I think I need to be alone for a bit, Ollie." she says as she starts to stand up as the rain continues to pour. [break][break]

As she moves towards the door she pauses. "Thank you, for at least telling me the truth now..but in the future. Just tell me instead of leaving me out to dry." she tells him

[break][break] "mels, listen, i - " his voice catches. 'listen, what? you didn't mean it? you want to take it back, idiot?'

[break][break] ollie rises as Melody Miro goes for the door, following her uselessly. rain reflects in emerald green as the door opens to the downpour outside.
