Still working on her overall navigation of the region and learning about what there was in Hoenn, Yuina had heard about a place called the Safari Zone out in the eastern portion of the region. It was supposed to be more like a wildlife reserve, there were no Pokemon battles that could happen there, but the Pokemon were rarer and you could catch them with sanctioned wild life Pokeballs. Overall, it sounded pretty neat, and Yuina was absolutely trying to meet as many new Pokemon as she could![break]
Fortunately having just enough money to buy one ticket for entry, Yuina smiled as she prepared herself and took the handful of Pokeballs she was given for her little adventure. She couldn't wait to see what Pokemon she would find first!

It was easy to tell that the safari zone was well kept and maintained as a reserve for the Pokemon that could be found here. The landscape was very natural and by no means man made, but what made it stand out was how fresh and, was clean the right word for being in nature? Nature itself wasn't very clean, but there was very little interference from the outside within the borders of the reserve. The grass and trees were impeccably green and lush, not a single worn trail or dead patch could be seen, and the water in a flowing creek was crystal clear, sparkling even. It was definitely nice to see such a thriving and healthy environment, and Yuina would definitely do her best to not make a footprint in being here.

Following along a line of trees and bushes through the Safari Zone, Yuina had kept her distance from a handful of Pokemon thus far, just kind of observing. There were still so many Pokemon that she had yet to see, she was certain she would never really see them all and would see new ones every day for a long, long while, so it was nice to just watch and see Pokemon interacting in the safari zone. Thing were quiet still, until from the bushes leaped out a small orange bird that skipped around on agile little feet, and it stopped to look up at Yuina with puffed feathers, scratching its feet on the ground.[break]
"Oh goodness, I bet you're a tough Pokemon huh," Yuina remarked, and by no means was she teasing or joking based on its size. Clearly the little bird had something to contend with if it was ready to square up already, and Yuina could admire that.[break][break]
"I'm looking for some new Pokemon to train with," she said then, holding out one of the safari balls that she had been given, and the little orange bird quirked its head.[break]
"I bet you're really strong, you could probably help me out a lot," she encouraged, it had such tenacity already, she was sure it could be capable of great things.

Her first Safari capture was successful, and that was pretty exciting as Yuina continued on within the safari zone grounds, she couldn't wait to see what other kind of Pokemon she was going to find. Having got its Pokeball situated, Yuina let out the little bird that she befriended to spend a little bit more time with it. It was such a funny little thing with so much spunk and energy, she was sure that it was going to be a great partner to work with in time.[break]
Moving closer to a babbling creek, Yuina looked out at the sparkling water, but a splash caught her attention as she looked to a little blue Pokemon having fun in the water. It was really very cute, and the little bird puffed up and skittered over, almost getting ready to battle.[break][break]
"Oh woah, we don't need to do that," Yuina stopped, smiling a little as the bird scratched the ground with its claws. The little blue Pokemon let out a small cry, splashing again in the water like it was playing.[break]
"Let's ask to be friends instead? And see if this cutie wants to come with us," Yuina remarked, holding out another Pokeball to the blue Pokemon.

Two new Pokemon captured! Yuina was smiling ear to ear she couldn't help it, this safari zone was pretty neat and the Pokemon were so fascinating. The little bird Pokemon ran around as they continued to follow the path of the water, and the small blue Pokemon continued to splash around in the water, and as they came to a deeper portion the blue Pokemon went out to swim. There was a splash in the water and Yuina looked, the small blue Pokemon was swimming around and splashing with a fish that bobbed in and out of the water.[break]
"Oh, is that your friend," Yuina smiled, standing at the water's edge and looking out as the blue Pokemon yipped in delight. The fish splashed and jumped out of the water, giving out a small cry in return.[break]
"Well, would your friend like to come with us too? That would be really fun huh," Yuina asked, taking out the last safari pokeball she was given and holding it out for the bobbing fish to see, she didn't want to leave any friends behind!
