WHETHER IT WAS DISPLACED BENEATH LITTLEROOT DUE TO DIMENSIONAL ENTANGLEMENT, BROUGHT BACK TO FUNCTIONING ORDER DUE TO DIALGA, OR BOTH, can not be determined. However, this kingdom made entirely out of intricate mechanisms is void of human life. Clockwork gears, iron tunnels, and curious domes make up this kingdom that continues to function like an animatronic music box.[break][break]

Mechanical Pokemon like Magearna, Volcanion and others present in the kingdom seem to be robotic, set to a rhythm or programming like an animatronic figure.[break][break]

Several clock towers loom above the entire kingdom, though their machinery seems to be in disrepair.

He vaguely remembers this place when he saw it back during the Littleroot mess. How he managed to avoid coming here is a question in of itself. Well he was here now so he might as well take a look around and see if he could find anything. After all that "heart" or whatever seemed interesting if they could somehow make use of it. If they even needed something like that at this point.

As he walked he noticed something slip past his peripheral, a small green slug. A familiar green slug. He didn't even hesitate to chase after the green speck as it bounced around. He could never forget, forget the thing that lived inside of him for the better part of a year. After that it left in the form of a dog that tried to rip his throat out. Guess his blood wasn't good enough for it and it wanted to complain to the chef.

What an asshole.

As he gave chase he didn't realize it until he was already crashing into something. Or someone. The little bugger led him running right into someone else who was here beside him and as Kazimir tripped over himself he just groaned from his prone position on the ground. "Uh...sorry...was chasing a...bug. You...alright...hey." He didn't recognize them, "Who are you?"

It's been a while since his last out in the open stream. With the world ending so many times he'd used the excuse of, bunkering down with loved ones, to cover his Rocket activities. Now? Now he needed content for his fans to enjoy. So he'd snuck into a rift, managed to avoid most people before grinning as he went live. It's unclear if he has signal so far, but he continues to talk as if people are with him. [break][break]

"I've never been here. But I've seen the Ultra Deep Sea. Super creepy, did not enjoy it." he said shuddering. Though he perked up adding, "I did steal an Ultra Beast egg form there though." he said with a grin. [break][break]

"Can't show it off right now, gotta focus." and with that he turns the camera outwards and moves through the desolate kingdom as quietly as he can. He keeps his voice low but chit chats happily only getting quieter when he hears something...thumping...very quickly? And as he turns to the source some green little slug thing bounces and goes SPLAT! right on his forehead before flying off. Mint hisses, disgusted by the thing before getting bowled over by someone else. [break][break]

Mint lands hard but manages to hold onto his cellphone and keep it from smashing so soon after entering the MEHCA KINGDOM. [break][break]

He wheezes, body pulsing with pain from hitting the hard rock and metal ground. And as he gets up to dust himself off, he eyes Kazimir, more annoyed he'd toppled him than anything else. [break][break]

Kaz may not recognize him, but Mint kind of does. "Hey! Aren't you that ranger guy that was with the Elite Four?" he asked, breaking out into a friendly grin. [break][break]

Unfortunately, the crash had alerted beings nearby of their presence. The guardians of the kingdom were beginning to shift and click on, turning their attention to the source of noise disturbing their dead city.

"Uh yeah. I'm with the Rangers kinda." It only dawned on him how long he's been with them now that someone says it out loud. Had it really been that long since he stepped down? "Name's Kaz. But who the heck are you? Your certainly no Ranger." He was pretty sure not many civilians were supposed to be down here unless they had an escort, so with no sign of anyone else here things seemed to paint a picture he didn't like.

"Did you come here by yourself-" His question is cut off by the sound of something stirring close by. The clunking of metal, the grinding of gears, the whistle of steam as a metal body moves and hidden behind mountains of scrap and iron it arises with a cry that even shakes the metal floor beneath them.

"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

It was a Corviknight. Only it wasn't one. It wasn't a real one. It was much too big and much MUCH too mechanical for it to be actual flesh and blood. Ironic considering their typing. As it raises to the sky it swoops down at the duo and Kaz grabs the man and presses him close to his chest as he dives out of the way acting as a cushion as he turns to let the man fall on top of him as he pulled him out of the bird's way.

"We gotta move! Now!" Slapping a ball on his belt out comes an Urshifu who takes a stance at the sight of the bird, acting like a shield between it and the two that stood behind it as Kaz go to his feet, holding out a hand to help the other man up. "Maybe we can find cover from it or something!"

"Totally not a Ranger!" Mint agreed with a cheerful nod. He pointed at his phone, grinning broad and bright. "I'm Mint. I'm just a guy who likes exploring a lot. Liiiiike....photo journalist? video journalist? Something like that. I bring the camera where normal crews can't go." And then he got paid a toooooon of dosh for it. [break][break]

He turns, eyes wide and going a little pale. "What the hell is that?!" he managed to blurt out as he held up his phone. It's a Corviknight and it's not. It's several sizes too big to be a normal one. [break][break]

"WHOA-" Mint can't even make a quip about chest or dinner's, as the Corviknight golem above them carves through the earth with it's own body.[break][break]

They stop falling and Mint pops his head up, patting Kazimir's chest twice very quickly before getting off. He's already focusing on a target as the Urshifu comes out. "There- the castle!" he said. The noise was starting to summon the automatons on the outskirts of town and Mint swore he saw a couple of Volcanion scurrying in the distant streets. [break][break]

"Path that way is clear, into the city- doesn't feel like it." He slaps his hand over his body. The mechanical Corviknight dives down and out comes his Flareon just in time, already beginning to power up her own TERA TYPING. A diamond-like crown materializes ono her head as she meets the next dive attack with her own DOUBLE EDGE to try and bounce the thing back. [break][break]

Mint for his part yanks one of Kazimir's arms in an attempt to help him up before beginning to run. "Arrabiatta's got our back." he said quickly.

"They're not the only one! Domon help us out here!" Throwing a ball of his own an Urshifu popped out of it roaring and running right at the bird as it circled around and tried to attack them from the front. The bear left up and aimed an iron head right at the large mechanical creature's chest not only knocking it back but making it retreat higher into the air.

It bought them just enough time to make it into town and closer to the castle. Around them mechanical beings resembling Pokemon began to dot the houses around them as they made their way into the streets. Then came the scream of the bird as its shadow passed over them.

"Its still on our tail! If only we could...wait I have an idea! Do as the Pokemon do!" With that both he and Domon broke off to hid under the canopy of what looked like a general store. The two of them stole a broom that was in a barrel and joined the mechanical Gardevoir in sweeping the store front.

"Go on! Take cover! Act...uh...mechanical!"

The Flareon lands on her feet as the giant mechanical Corviknight is buffered back but only a smidge. She holds fast next to the Urshifu before opening her mouth to bark a warning. Then, hoping the Urshifu listened, she'd unleash a LAVA PLUME as the Corviknight dove down to try to grab them before turning tail and sprinting after their trainers. [break][break]

Unfortunately that thing recovered quickly. "HUH?!" Mint blurted out ass Kaz suddenly dropped off before turning to look at him while panting. He slapped a hand over his mouth to muffle it. "Oh! Uhhh-" he copies, stealing a lightweight metal cowboy hat and putting it on his head. It's hot, but cover was cover. His Flareon stands next to him as the pair get near a wood chopping station on the side of the building. Carefully, he takes up the abandoned axe and does the motions of chopping onto the stomp very carefully while his Flareon rolls a log back and forth. [break][break]

Their movements are stiff, and they probably looked ridiculous. But that's enough for the Corviknight ahead to circle around and get fed up with nothing running from it. With no prey, it flies off, soaring to wherever it had come from. [break][break]

Mint gives it a few more minutes before throwing down the hat and moving back to the storefront. "Kaz- I think it's gone." he said shooing him into the inside of the building which seemed like a general store. Nothing fancy. Nothing edible either. [break][break]

The far off caws of the metal bird confirm his suspicions. He passes his phone around the store front. "No food, no water...at least not for something like us? Can't drink oil or eat metal nuts." he said as he took footage before peaking back outside. "Let's head to the castle and investigate quickly. I heard you can get pretty sick if you're in here for too long without a Sygna Suit."

"I mean you can try. You just won't really feel good afterward." He joked as he looked over at a small shelf and saw nothing but nuts and bolts with a sign saying "fresh produce" on it. As cool as this place was sometimes the whole "mechanical" label was taken a little too literally.

"Maybe we can wear a suit of armor to keep ourselves safe. Cause man sygna suits are expensive!" The materials that he heard that went into making them was pretty rare. For the benefits they give it was probably a decent trade off. That was something worth considering once they were a more safe spot or even out of this mechanical fairy tale land. Although considering where they were heading they would probably end up in the most safest place in the whole dimension!

Once inside Kaz made sure that they weren't followed both by the Corviknight monstrosity as well as anything that might have been lurking in the town they were previously in. Could never be too careful in these kind of places after all. Looking around the entrance hall what lays before the duo is piles of bodies tangled in with each other in a literal sense as instead of flesh and bone its iron and gears. Some have more than the required amount of limbs while others are flat out missing stuff like both arms or all the toes on their feet.

Some look human while others look like Pokemon yet the features of all of them are hard to make out with the jumbled mess each pile seems to be. There's a few that look like a mix of both Pokemon and human as Kaz found as he picked up one of them to move out of the way. "Man...wonder what beat them all up like this..." He was no detective like Michael Navidson and puzzles weren't a forte of his. One thing he could make out though... "Something gave them a beating. Badly."

Moving from pile to pile he passed by a glistening statue standing against the wall not even realizing that its singular eye suddenly turned towards Kaz and began to slowly move, raising something solid akin to a fist and swung at Kaz hitting him square in the back and send him flying forward till he came to a stop with a roll. "ow...."

"Is that how the radiation works...? Or whatever the Sygna Suits protect us from?" he asked with a small laugh. He follows without a word, his partner still keeping an eye out for the giant Corviknight while Mint looked around for any of the denizens that may attack them. And of course, his phone is ready to catch it on film. Even if he wasn't live. [break][break]

They make it to the castle no problem at least. He slows his pace when Kazimir does, as they arrive to the scrap pile. The background doesn't match. It feels almost...ominous. "Is-...IS this a mass grave? For them??" he asked, voice low as he moved in closer to the heap. [break][break]

"Something bad, for sure. Maybe it's got something to do with how violent everything else around here is." he said as he followed Kazimir only to watch a statue move and mollywhop the man away. "KAZIMIR?!" he shouted, despite himself before looking over at the metal statue. [break][break]

He's only seen something like that once before, and it nearly tried to drown him in its own metallic body. Arrabiata steps between him and her trainer before using FLARE BLITZ to bounce the Melmetal backwards while Mint made his way to his companion's side. "Hey- Hey are you good?!" he asked checking for quickly for signs of immediate distress, mainly anything broken. He tries to get the guy to sit up, running a hand over his back and pressing gently. "Did anything puncture??"

Flames heat the metal body of the giant as it stumbles backwards smashing into suits of armor that line the walls and join the piles of scrap of fallen soldiers. A roar comes from the entrance as the Urhisfu manages to catch up with the group and his fists are already tight in his hands. He wastes no time in throwing a drain punch right at the Melmetal as it gets back to its feet. No it doesn't even reach its knees before Domon sends it flying even farther and feels its energy leave its metallic body and enter his even if its nothing but surplus.

"Yeah I think...I think I'm ok." The ginger giant mumbles as he sits back up with the help of Mint and hisses when he feels the man's hand on his back. Nothing is punctured but the stinging pain isn't going away anytime soon. "Way more resilient than most guys. But...what the heck is that thing." He looks over at their Pokemon fighting against the metal titan.

While its made of steel it certainly doesn't look like any of the other automatons that they've ran into. Instead it looks more like its entire body is made out of some kind of malleable metal than other pieces of it. It looks almost out of place in this kingdom.

He looked back at the Metal monster being herded back by both Urshifu and a very yappy Flareon. Fist and flame doing their best to coral the thing. "A guard? I've not heard about it." he said with a shrug. [break][break]

"I-..." he paused, remembering something had attacked him like this once before. Far more goopy and deadly, but still the same nut face. "It's bad news unless we can subdue or catch it." he said as his Flareon let out a LAVA PLUME, blasting the Melmetal into a wall.

"Defeat or catch? On it." He struggles to push himself up to his feet as he watches the two Pokemon fight against the creature. Fist and flame seem to do more than their fair share against it. Considering where they were it was probably no surprise what kind of Pokemon it was if he followed some basic logic. "Domon! Punch its lights out!"

The Urshifu lets out a roar as it aims one final Drain Punch right into the sternum of the beast and sends it stumbling back into a wall. With that Kaz whips out a Pokeball and throws it at the metal titan and watches as it gets absorbed into the capsule and falls to the ground moving back and forth. Once it stops the Urshifu grabs it and holds it up letting out a cry of victory as Kaz slumps against the wall and gives a smile to mint frost and a thumbs up to the Urshifu and Flareon. "Well...that's over. Maybe we should call it a day...and get outta here. Could use...a nice day at the docs haha....urgh."

Despite the optimism he still holds his side as he tries to fight through the pain.
