There's nip in the air - not a fierce one, but certainly one noticeable to a woman who's spent her entire life in the tropics. Bundled in a jacket and gloves, her Skeledirge at her side to warm the area, Nenet follows a well-trod path through the Safari zone in search of her first pokemon.

The pleasant sound of flames crackling and the soft tread of boots over drying leaves gives the whole trip a certain calming ambiance, one much appreciated after all of the chaos in her life these past few weeks.

In the ease of the current atmosphere it's easy to almost overlook the Stonjourner blending in with the trees and covered in moss. Nenet's Skeledirge is the one to alert her to the pokemon, and the trio all stare at one another for a time in seeming consideration.

She pulls out a Safari ball and gives it a toss towards the Stonjourner, unwilling to battle and break the surrounding stillness. Whatever happened would happen.

Popping the pokeball in her bag to safely stow away the Stonjourner, Nenet continues her search through the Safari Zone. It's not long before she spies a Baltoy - another pokemon on her checklist.

With a tip of her head Skeledirge engages with a bodily Tackle, pinning the Baltoy in place. Giving an exuberant wag of his tail, Skeledirge looks back at Nenet proudly as she gives a snort of amusement, a pokeball soon following.

The Sigilyph comes as an utter surprise, its oddly-shaped body floating out from the tall grass to hover before Nenet and her Skeledirge.

What a strange little thing, Nenet thinks to herself as she observes the Sigilyph. Prepared to leave it behind, she moves past the pokemon, and is soon surprised to find it following her.

"Are you coming with me?" she asks, eyebrow arched. The Sigilyph gives a bob in the air, and Nenet slowly pulls out a pokeball and tosses it.

A motion in the trees reveals itself to be a small Larvesta resting on a branch. It gives a little wave before picking up a leaf to munch on, its cheeks bulging as its ravenous appetite takes over.

Humming thoughtfully, Nenet pulls her last Safari pokeball from her pack and aims it towards the Larvesta. It seems a shame to smoke the poor thing out with her Skeledirge, after all.
