Temp looked down at the list of pokemon, scratching his head.[break][break]

howard slayte had asked him, shyly and much like a school girl confessing to her crush, if Temp would help him collect a few pokemon from the Safari Zone....[break][break]

Well, who could say 'no' to that? Temp would do anything to help out his buddy![break][break]

Tempest walked through the ruins that the Safari Zone was modeled after this month. Bongo walked next to him, the Zarude grumbling as he stretched his legs.[break][break]

Rounding a corner, a Stonejourner lumbered on it's awkwardly shaped body.[break][break]

Oh! That was one of the pokemon Howard had wanted! Nodding to Bongo, the Zarude snapped out a Power Whip to subdue it.[break][break]

When it fell, Tempest grinned and tosses a safari ball.

The grinding of stone draws Tempest's attention. A Baltoy ducks around a corner, obviously trying to get away from temp and Bongo. He takes a few steps towards it, intending to chase, before he thinks to check his list again.[break][break]

Ah, yeah, Baltoy wasn't on the shopping list.[break][break]

Guess it would just have to be caught by someone else.[break][break]

Stepping back and shaking his head, Tempest turned down a different hallway in search of his prey.

The false temple opens up into a room with a pool of water. It spills from some mockery of a statue's mouth, ancient only in it's fake veneer. Tempest approaches the pool, peering inside to see a Relicanth lazily swimming in large, slow circles.[break][break]

"Oh, we needed that one for sure!" Tempest nods to Bongo, the Zarude stepping closer.[break][break]

The Relicanth was pudgy and healthy looking, the craggy scales dark with rich mineral. She's been eating well; from the slightly distended stomach, she was also probably close to spawning eggs. Temp wondered if they were fertilized. He'd have to let howard slayte know to keep an eye on her.[break][break]

After a quick strike in the water with the Power Whip to grab the Relicanth, flipping it out and onto the hard ground. Humming, pleased, Temp tossed one of the balls.

Tempest goes to pick up his pokeball when it hits his nose. The stench of it is terrible.[break][break]

A beetle goes about rolling up the dung like normal...[break][break]

A face is made. Why did Howard want one of these, of all things?[break][break]

Bongo slaps the bug with a Darkest Lariat. Then Tempest throws the ball, happy to finally be done and dusted with this place.
