"Caesi" approaches the ring with a spring in her step as she waves up to the crowds and laughs, appearing for all intents and purposes as nothing but another bubbly challenger looking to make a name for themselves in the Vital City tournament. Her attention turns to Diana as she bounds over and grabs her hand with both of her own, shaking it quite hardily in the process. "Nice to meet ya! I'm Caesi, I hope we have a fun match!"

Once formal introductions have been made the girl hops on over to her side of the arena and releases her partner of choice for the day, a brutal metallic dragon floating over the battlefield and slowly looking around with its triplet heads, scanning for the threat so it could calculate how best to dismantle it with as little effort as possible. Even if Xenon could hide her true nature with nothing more than a well crafted wig and clever prosthetics, she could not hide her nature quite so easily.

With her ALTARIA at the ready, both winged Pokemon seemed to stare each other down before she made the first move. With an aggressive move of her hand, she commanded the dragon-type forward.

"Attack with all you got!"

So, the blue, bird-like creature did so, springing into the sky before whirling downward with a speedy SKY ATTACK toward the IRON JUGULIS.

A dragon of the distant future faces down the dragon of the present, a dark harbinger of disaster who discarded its ancestry and the fae beast of legend who soars through the sky chasing the clouds.

With the shout of the referee the two Pokemon burst into action, a snap of Caesi's fingers calling the machine to action as it fires a blast of steel energy at the approaching Altaria. It would allow the bird to try and make its approach, but it wouldn't make it easy as a triplet barrage of Dark Pulses carve through the skies trying to shoot the Altaria down, the Iron Jugulis's body rooted firmly in place as it tracks the bird's movements mechanically.

[attr="class","diana"]The barrage of DARK PULSES seemed to have a great impact on Cadbury. It was a point loss on Diana's end, but it wasn't the end of the match yet.

"Nice move. Let's consider that a warm up."

Now that her opponent showed its worth, Cadbury charged a DRAGON BREATH sending the beam toward the middle of the three heads of the metallic dragon.

Diana stays cool in the face of adversity, but that just leaves room for Caesi to get more fired up as she cheers her Iron Jugulis on, the roar of the crowd synchronizing with the pounding of her heart!

"Alright then, if that was a warm up than let's cut straight to the main act! Let's go Flash Cannon!" A trio of steel rays erupts from the hydra's maws and smashes into the plume of Dragon Breath, a shockwave of energy sweeps past the two girls and whips their hair back as the ensuing explosion rocks the arena. Rhodium takes to the skies in a burst of upwards motion, aiming down at the Altaria and firing off another round of Flash Cannons while it can.

[attr="class","diana"]Even as her ALTARIA attacked with might and fury, it seemed to be one pace behind it's metallic foe. The next wave of attacks hit her, leaving a sizzling sound on her feathers as a result.

"Come on, Cadbury. I know you got it, girl," Diana encouraged her.

One more shot to get another few hits in. They could do it. Luck just needed to be on their side.

Cadbury let out a furious scream, utilizing COTTON GUARD in a desperate attempt to boost her defenses before charging in one more time with a TAKE DOWN.

The battle reaches a fever pitch as the machine onslaught continues, burning feathers fluttering through the air as ashen snow melts in the wind. The Iron Jugulis and its partner are dominating the match and show no signs of slowing down as it deploys its Electric Terrain into the air, before immediately sucking up all that power as its Quark Drive kicks into gear and a bright burning beam of light fires from its mouth!

"Let's go Rhodi, Flash Cannon!" Caesi shouts as the sky scorching light of the future slams into the Altaria. But the puffy cloud of cotton is deceiving as it hits the bird off kilter, just slightly knocking the Altaria from its intended target as her body slams into the metal monster and sends it crashing down back to the ground as the bird makes its comeback!

[attr="class","diana"]The match got even more heated with her win of that round. She knew that Cadbury had it in her. Diana pumped her fist, smiling as she pointed toward her dragon-type. "Atta girl!" she shouted in a thick, Galarian accent.

Static filled the air, causing the hairs on her arms to raise. Cadbury's feathers were staticky with the electricity from her foe's ELECTRIC TERRAIN. Small volts shocked her as she flapped her wings, causing her to squawk in discomfort.

"Let's get going. Only a bit more. We can do it."

And while the COTTON GUARD and TAKE DOWN were effective, would her MOONBLAST hit?

One head hangs limp as the Iron Jugulia floats back to its feet, the other two twitching back to life as L D eyes refocus on its opponent with an increased intensity. Even a machine has it's pride as it floats back up into the air and let's out a screeching roar of byres and bits, another salvo of Flash Cannons piercing through the Moonbeam and making direct contact with the Altaria to finally take it down! "Let's go Rhodi!!!" Caesi screams as the two attacks cancel out, the march onwards continuing as the dragon activates it's core and begins charging up for one final attack...

[attr="class","diana"]It seemed that they were evenly match, as no match point was given. The tension was palpable in the air, as if one could cut through it with a knife.

Was ALTARIA going to make a comeback? Or was IRON JUGULIS going to take the win?

Cadbury SANG, a desperate attempt to lower the metallic dragon's guard as she attacked with another TAKE DOWN. She hoped with this attack, she could weaken it into a state where one last attack would knock it down completely.

The dragon of the clouds sings it's song, a soothing melody that blurs the weapon's vision as its preparations falter. This is a critical failing as the cloudy beast's body rams into the Iron Jugulis once more, throwing it back down to the ground and leaving only it's primary head functioning as it staggeringly gets back up and begins it's preparations once more. Match point , all or nothing. This was what the crowd came to see as their roars settle into a quiet hush, everyone in the edge of their seats to see just what would transpire at the end of it all.

The other two heads of the IRON JUGULIS hung limply as the middle one took control of the action. One versus one.

"Okay, Cadbury. Let's finish it."

With one last charge, she released as DRAGON BREATH onto the opposing dragon.

A true dragon's breath sweeps across the stage, the curtains are drawn on the final act of this grand performance. The iron hydra looks death in the eyes as it draws on the power in its steel bosom. The landscape is that of the future, electricity hums in its veins as it opens it's maw wide. "Alright, we're done playing around now! Hype Beam, go!" The light that burns the sky pierces through the past and splits the clouds, striking the Altaria with one last finishing blow. The deed is done, Rhodium stands proud as the crowd erupts.
