THE ULTRA PLANT IS A DARK WORLD that is wracked by frequent thunderstorms. Lightning spears the desolate canyons and valleys of this world and massive cord-like structures bridge the gaps. Whenever lightning strikes, lights attached to these cords light up too. In the horizon, large Xurkitree can be seen, dwarfing the area you arrive in...[break][break]

Several abandoned power stations can be found throughout the area, but they seem to be deactivated...

On the other side, rubble of a massive structure, and above it, the presumed hole where it'd come from. It looked remarkably similar to a Tesla Coil, though much larger, and more complicated.

Greyson studies the thing silently.

"I could be wrong, but this looks like it was on the outside of the ship. Maybe they were using it as a bait, or lure of some kind? Generate enough electricity and these things will come running."

Nothing happens.

..For a moment.

Then, in a flash of light, the system roars to life. Electricity, now blue instead of yellow, crackles in its center. But, it wasn't the only thing effected by aaron faust's attack. All around them, the ship slowly begins to show signs of life. Systems, and screens, turn on all over the ship.

A pinging sounds, and Greyson's head turns towards the noise. "An SOS call? No, it's increasing in speed. What is tha-?" His words are cut off as an explosion of violet energy towers into the sky, illuminating the world for miles above. Something floats just beneath the clouds, coming into contact with that strange energy, and soon it begins to expand in size.

He looks at Aaron, sighing in disbelief.

"They have a mobile Power Spot. And, you not only activated it, you woke up a sleeping mythical Pokemon and made it the size of a stadium. Remind me again — why do I bring you?"

A rhetorical question — one Aaron no doubt will respond with a qip too. He already prepares himself to ignore it, moving into action.

"That will attract Pokemon for a couple of miles at least. Worse of all — I don't have a Dynamax band. One of you will need to run that thing off, while the others prepare for the worst. Volunteers?"

[break][break]from his belt, he calls his charizard out through the opening of the ship. leathery wings unfurl and she flies towards the massive regieleki and the power flowing from the dynamax point. [break][break]"watch this," he tells the others over his shoulder, voice thick with excitement, and gigantamaxes the dragon. she grows into a monolith in the middle of this desolate, lightning planet, looking down even on the dynamaxed legendary pokemon. [break][break] max quake spam makes the regieleki flee eventually. the surrounding area is devastated by the fight, cliffsides crumbling and fissures forming wide cracks. Greyson clenches his teeth, prepared to release another Pokemon, when the blue-scaled Dinosaur emerges from the dust with a bone-rattling roar.

Surprisingly dexterous, it charges its opponent, head-lowered as it SMASHES the stone-like Pokémon against a massive boulder. It collapses, barely held-together through sheer will power alone, struggling against the literal and metaphorical foot to the throat.

Impressed by the Ultra Beast's tenacity, Greyson expands a sphere in-between his fingers, and tosses it at the downed creature. After a few moments, the capsule stops stirring.

"Let's clean this shit up and go home. Maybe you'll get an award, Aaron."

Maybe not.
