[attr="class","diana"]It seemed that this tree, the Dyna Tree the housed CALYREX, was under close supervision at all times by the members of team Rocket. And they did not exclude Diana from the rotation.

She had to admit, it was a bit difficult for her to figure out some excuse to tell Remiel Calcifet when she left his home — their home? — to come to Sootopolis and observe the tree.

Nor did they exclude higher officials, as she found out she was guarding with a Beast. She began to wonder if the rumor of her ties with the former Galarian prince had made its way to the ears of Rocket lords and ladies, and this was some sort of punishment from ARCEUS for her misdeeds.

The tree was beautiful. Diana understood why Pokemon and humans alike flocked to it, to reach for its fruit. Power emitted from it, a temptation that was difficult to ignore. If she had not been careful, she could have easily fallen for its trap. Her CYCLIZAR cooed next to her.

"Tree of life was better." as he sounded like he made a tier list for the best trees in hoenn. [break][break]

However Diana would struggle to figure out just where exactly the voice came from before he emerges from the tree itself. Wood becoming skin and clothing. The tree resisted his entry into it to explore, "That was weird, usually it doesn't do that.".[break][break]

he says "Yo. Delarosa." he says giving her his name immediately.

Her answer came when he showed up from the tree itself. Though it didn't make sense to her. How did this man have the ability to go into the tree, as if it had regurgitated him?

The only one she'd met was ZEKROM, and even then it wasn't as if Remiel was flaunting his powers around like this man was.

"Yes, I am." He explains "Xerneas, the life pokemon. He made me immortal. I can't die" he lies on that last part, he could be killed. But if everyone assumed he couldn't be killed then that would make him unstoppable. [break][break]

He just had to ensure no one found his limits. "So what brought you into rocket? interest in trees? Nature?" he says as of course his reasonings for being assigned here made sense off the bat just for his abilities and status. But her? She was new, did they want him to test her? Rocket was always vague yet methodical with their decisions.

"I don't suppose perhaps I could ask for your protection? I could pay for it."

Eventually.

"I'm kidding. I know how to take care of myself. Though with the stories I've heard of Hoenn, I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities for danger. Your world is very different from my own."

Diana laughed. "Well, I'm from Galar. Hammerlocke, specifically. I wouldn't call myself a bigshot, though, unless you kept up with Galarian news outlets. It's mindless chatter."
