Zeus the Primeape, and Belle the Minccino, clashed against each other during the spar. Belle was swift, making Zeus find trouble on landing strikes and block her attempts to hit him. On another hand, it was clear Zeus resilience and stamina was unmatched. He could take those hits any time and that only made his counter attacks stronger.[break][break]

Thankfully, that was all just a friendly practice, and Thea watched over it attentively, coaching both of them at the same time. "Never drop your guard, Zeus. Belle can land a hit anywhere, but don't let her get your face— Belle! Speed up! Zeus can take this fight much longer than you, so you need to finish it quickly before you are out of breath." She said, but smiled at the improvement of her Pokémon... Except...[break][break]

"... Gominha, you should stand up and try some spar with me at the very least." She complained, looking at the Wigglytuff that was sitting by the edge of the dojo, wiggling her legs while watching the practice.[break][break]

Before Thea could get any more frustrated about the sight, a newcomer caught her attention... And since she was singled out this time, she approached her with a warm smile and a fiery gaze, adjusting the belt of her karategi before bowing. "Good Afternoon! Ready for some practice?" She didn't waste a second to invite her, but then she added: "Or did you come for something else?"[break][break]

From the sidelines, Lydia watched the Pokemon spar. It was quite an artistic ballet, a masterful tale of bobbing and weaving. Though she did not know these creatures, she found herself rooting for the Bellossom. In part because she adored an underdog, but mostly because it reminded her of herself. A small, petite thing deigned more worthy of beauty than utility. Typically categorized as something to be admired rather than respected.

The approach of the trainer made the blonde turn to face Thea. Though the elder, Lydia was the shorter of the two. Notably, she did not lift her chin to meet the teacher’s eyes. Instead, she allowed her gaze to show the direction of her attention. She bobs her head in a simple nod. “Good afternoon.” The hair at the back of her head threatens to spill loose from its bun. “I am.”

There is a pause as she allows her bag to drop on the bench beside her. She then removes her jacket, revealing a black sports bra and a washboard where her stomach could be. All over her body were signs of her time in the military, including a tattoo of her squadron on her left shoulder. But mostly there are scars—a few obviously from surgery. There is even a bandaid on her neck—a recent cortisol shot. “You are Mademoiselle Naito, non?”
