[attr="class","summer"]Summer sat patiently as he began brewing the pot, idly fixing the golden watch on her left wrist until it was finished. She reached for it, pouring herself a cup. Then, a small spoon of sugar, followed by two dashes of cream. Simple, but it was easy to dissatisfy her.

"Then forgive me. I'm still relinquishing the chains of the business world from my shoulders. It's a habit."

She blew on her cup before lifting it to her lips, sipping on it. She set the mug down.

"I don't require anything from you, Amor. I came today just to speak to you. I wanted insight on you. You were formerly apart of the League, correct?" Summer inquired, one of her legs crossing over the other as she tilted her head ever so slightly at him.

"Why did you leave? And how did you decide to come to team Rocket? Surely you know that it's been the opposite effect for our group lately. Defectors, going to the League as if they decided it's in good conscience..." Her nails tapped the chair.

"I apologize if it seems like I'm interrogating you. I'm merely curious. What do you see in us? What is your motivation?"

Summer Atreides was easy to look up and find. She had been a newsworthy CEO, after all.

"And how can I trust you?" she replied back. "Forgive me for being rude. However, you can surely understand my mistrust." She regarded dem with wary eyes.

Summer took out her own ROTOM phone, doing a quick comb over of Rocket's database. Fenelle Miller, code name: Mille. Perhaps dee were not lying after all.

"Okay, Mille. The duration of this trek, call me Aquamarine. Shall we move?" Behind her, Summer's shiny EMBOAR snorted with impatience.

[attr="class","summer"]"Maybe you should go back. It was nice and quiet before you came sauntering in." There was an annoyed tinge to her voice, but there was a part of Summer that was relieved that he was okay. She had begun to wonder if the behemoth was actually dead.

"Where'd you hear about my job from?" She paused. "Eavesdropping? This is my gallery!"

Summer had wondered if the talk of the Lionheart CEO stepping back was finally cooling down. She thought it had, and now she'd be free to live a somewhat comfortable life away from the business press about her life decisions. It was hard enough to ignore their questions about her marriage.

She refused to tell them who she was married to for the sake of her husband's privacy.

Speaking of which, Cain Toman's statement was cut off as his eyes cut to her ring. At first, Summer wondered if there was something on her clothes that he was trying to warn her about. Then, it clicked. Her eyes rolled dramatically as she sighed, holding her hand out to him as if he wanted it in his face.

Perhaps it was a way of warding him off. "Yes, it's real. Yes, I'm married. Yes, someone wanted to marry me."

[attr="class","summer"]As Summer began to slip her bag from her shoulders and unwrap tools to chip away at the crystals, the sound of footsteps stop her. Her first thought was that a wild Pokemon was nearby, ready to attack.

The second, Cade Atreides had scouted her out and came to give her a long, stern lecture.

She turned, attempting to not look guilty in case it was actually her husband. It wasn't, thank ARCEUS, and it wasn't a Pokemon either. It was another person.

Though she didn't know this person's standing: League or Rocket. So she'd have to play her cards right until she found out.

"What are you—" Her statement cut off as her gaze traveled to the screen held out to her. Instead, with an almost skeptical look, Summer typed out her message before handing the screen back.

"I am looking for crystals. What are you doing here?"

[attr="class","summer"]Unlike many of the lower ranking Rockets, Summer Atreides wasn't interested in climbing the power ladder Rocket possessed. When she had been a CEO, she had a burning desire for that power. But now?

That fire had been quenched, instead replaced with a want for something else.

She recalled time and time again her back and forth with Rocket's ideology and her own. Until she had taken a sabbatical with her newly wedded husband, she had only believed the group to be a group craving blood and destruction. Summer desired for a change. She nearly left.

Cade Atreides was her savior.

Now, she came to speak to someone who had taken over one of the scientist roles, a new face in Rocket. Perhaps it was bold of her to ask someone ranked officially higher than her why they were here, but she had to know that surely, not all members of Rocket were single-minded.

"Thank you for sparing your time today, Head Scientist Rose. I don't believe I've had the honor of meeting you yet," Summer spoke, taking a seat and sitting with dignified pride.

One of the former Lioness of Lionheart Industries.

"Coffee, please."

The icy-haired woman appeared around the corner, emerging from a display of vases to the painting section he was standing in. The tule of her dress brushed the ground as she walked, stopping several feet from him.

"Well, what hell have you crawled out of? You've been gone for quite some time, Cain."

Summer raised a brow, tilting her head to the side as she regarded the tall man with a craned neck. She shouldn't give him the pleasure, but it did give her some satisfaction in knowing that he had to almost break his neck to look back at her.

"Is there something I might be able to help you with? Or are you here to insult me and my work?" She crossed her arms over her chest, a ring glinting on her left ring finger.

[attr="class","summer"]Blue flames ignited the dark depths of the chasm, illuminating the path several feet ahead. An inferno of heat enveloped the surrounding area as heavy foot steps trekked forward. The EMBOAR grunted, deep and low in his chest, to his trainer.

"We told him we were taking a look around. That's what we're doing: looking," his trainer answered, her hair appearing a stark white in the color of his flames. All Cade Atreides needed to know was that she was okay.

In reality, Summer Atreides was scouring the giant chasm for large tera shards. Having heard of the battle against KYUREM, she wanted to investigate the power these crystals held and how they worked. Even better, if she found something interesting, she could go to GIDEON GRAVES or Remiel Calcifet and have the two appraise the item for its value.

Selling it to the National Museum of Natural History would be of great worth if she came across a high value relic.

Summer twisted the ring that was looped on the necklace around her throat, an idle habit she'd come to have since the events of GALAR. She and Surtur approached a large crystalline structure, their reflection mirrored back toward them.

"It's more impressive than I originally thought."

He'd cut her off as his hands began to lather across her back, humming from the release of the pressures she had been holding. "Then there's the blackmarket I have to handle."

She didn't elaborate further on that.

Summer would shrug her shoulders, but she was too enthralled with his massage to do so. "You have to take care of yourself, even when the world is falling down. And if that means that I die tomorrow —"

She paused. "I'd be happy to die on this beach with you at my side."

Oh, she yearned to go back to those days, away from Hoenn and its chaos.

Despite her request for dinner, she didn't reserve them a seat at a fancy five-star restaurant. Instead, she kept it casual for Cade's comfort in the end. She'd end up wearing some elegant dress either way, with the heels to match.

"Cade, is there anywhere around here you want to eat? What strikes your craving?" Summer asked him as they walked down the street, tilting her head up at him to meet his gaze.

Where they could be Cade and Summer.

Just those two, nothing more.

The CEO didn't know what this man was to her. But, she knew she'd protect this with all cost. She hummed against his lips, accepting his hungry passion with her own, until he pulled away.

With an almost innocent giggle, Summer complied, leaning back against his body and closing her eyes as she nodded. "Forever. You and me."
