Her smile widens at his greeting, and the heat between them only manages to leave her wanting more. With one hand on his chest, she is not shy about where her fingers travel, sliding slowly up, taking her tome to memorize the canvas. She breathes in slowly, too, leaning in just the slightest bit.

She can feel his arm smooth against her legs to hold her in place-- but when she does she shifts, painfully slow with the intent to tease. One leg brushes across his lap and she sighs at the sound of her name, satisfaction purring as she resettles to straddle him easier.

"Because.." she whispers, brushing her thumb gently against his bottom lip. "You have a way with words but nothing to back it up. Sources, quotes, recordings, sure-- but where's the action?"

Subtly, a brow raises at the way the woman mirrors her interest. There is a positively attractive manner in which she speaks, and it draws her in faster than she'd care to admit.

"Remi. I must say, it's a pleasure, Ana."

The woman's smile plays a fiddle that she responds to, matching her tempo with her own easy smile. Eyes narrow just slightly and she eases into a lazy walk. The woman's Vikavolt seems more than capable of finding whoever was stealing.

Not that that really mattered.

"Oh, is that right? Hm."

She sort of purr-growls, raising an eyebrow and looking him up and down with a sudden, feral hunger. The moment is fleeting, naturally, because the real prize Remi has her eyes on is never a piece of ass, but the money in her pocket at the end of the day. She looks away, to the mouth of the cave and the two Pokemon he's pulled out for their job today.

"Oh, I'm always ready, hot stuff."

And to that note, she releases an Alakazam. It is completely mute, hovering uncomfortably close to them both. She winks back at Barnaby, pointing a thumb at her Pokemon.

"Just in case things get hairy."

The woman gestures behind her with a short response, but when Remi looks the direction she's pointing, the world feels like it's spinning. The roots beneath her feet feel like they're trying to pull her under. It's nauseating and overwhelming.

"Am I high? No, fuck off. How long have you been wandering in this forest? Because let me tell you, I've been walking for like twenty minutes, but my phone keeps jumping dates and time. Look at this shit!"

She shows her her phone screen but admittedly, nothing seems amiss. Behind her, however, with slow, creepy blinky eyes, there does appear to be something. With a wiggle of its unseen fingers, it spins the scene around a second time. The phone dies in her hands, fading to zero and powering off.

"Please. Tell me that I'm crazy and that we're not stuck in some sort of crazy nightmare-scape."

"Hm." Remi purses her lips and smirks, amused by her answer. Her brows raise immediately after and she stares at the woman with renewed interest. She even lets slide a laugh, followed by a comment.

"Is that right? My, I must be a lucky lady then, spending time with one of the league's best."

Not only that, but this was now the second elite four she had met in person. Katherine was certainly far more enjoyable company to MATIAS SILPH. There is something particularly mysterious and different about her, a sense that she's almost holding back. It intrigues her, and it helps too that she is a beautiful woman.

"Oh-- an absolute shit hole." The woman shakes her head and wishes she still had that bottle in her hand to take a long drink. "I was looking for my brother."

Remi smiles, evidently satisfied with that answer.

More and more, she realized how attracted she was to him. He mirrored her, reciprocated, followed cues. There was a hunger in his attention that left her wanting. Seeing him now was enough to convince her to ditch the rest of the event and take him home.

"Is that right? The champion, huh? Was he larger than life, everything you expected?"

But just as she asks this, the buzzer goes off to signal the end of this rotation. She rises to her feet and collects her sleeping Teddiursa. With a sidelong glance, she waits a moment before heading on her way.

"Find me later."

As it happens, Remi has let her Cubchoo out to play. They wrestle and roll, biting and clawing playfully at one another. Once in a while, there is a flash of dark fur or brown. The cub troupe had grown in numbers and variations, now including baby Pancham and Teddiursa.

At the sound of her name, Remi looks up from their rough-housing to face the man approaching her. She raises a brow and sizes him up, as if waiting for him to throw another punch.

"Oh, is that right? You here for round two or something?"

But there is little malice in her tone. In fact, she almost sounds tired, like the prospect of a fight just wasn't in her agenda for this morning. Probably not, given how many little ones she had at her feet today. It was clearly the poachers day off-- at least until night fell.

"What's that, a job for me?"

Something, perhaps the look in her eye or the honesty in her words, brings Roach a little bit closer. He abandons his indifferent slouch to lean in, across the table. His elbows prop him up and she encourages his intrigue with her own. The woman leans against the table too, happy to exist just out of reach.

"Good, 'cause you're the only one I like to call me darlin'."

She willingly lets her attention travel over the sharp curve of his lips and the angle of his cheek-- but she glances back up at his question. It prompts a sly grin out of the woman, and she leans back ever so slightly.

"Sure. You never know who you might find at an event like this."

Though, she is definitely not here for anything but a means to line her pockets. Roach was a happy coincidence, one she would happily go home with later.
