She shifts the sleeping cub in her arms to snuggle into her lap as she sits. One leg crosses over the other and she idly strokes the Teddiursa. Her expression remains teasing, but seems to falter ever so slightly at his insinuation.

"And what if I were? Does a woman who knows what she likes intimidate you, Roach?"

Remi stumbles into the distortion field by accident. She may or may not have been heavily under the influence of something and wooping and hollering about becoming a 'storm chaser' to anyone and anything willing to listen to her.

With a hiccup followed by the ejection of her stomach contents, Remi falls to her knees just as one of her two Sneasel beeline it into the past. Unfortunately, when she herself wakes up, the distortion realm is gone and it all feels like an insane fever dream.

Except...

Zaalbar came back looking completely different. The mirror image Sneasel she keeps with her were suddenly near opposites. She wipes spit from the corner of her mouth and leans back into an awkward sitting position. She frowns, stares, tilts her head this way and that. But no matter what way she looked at it, the Sneasel was different.

"Did you see what happened, shortstack?"

The still-normal Sneasel shrugs, snickers, and runs off to cause havoc with her newly coloured best friend.

As it turns out, there is a slight cave-in or something that results in a bunch of people falling through. Remi peers down into it, stepping aside slightly to let the Perrserker help them up. Ladders, ropes, etc are all in effect. When people pull themselves up, she takes the time to pull them up the rest of the way if they accepted her help.

She wipes sweat from her brow and exhales, inclining her head to her Pangoro for them to keep moving. Nothing in particular catches her eye and at this rate, she's happy just to get out of here alive. Some bubbles float past her and she waves them away. This whole expedition had certainly take a turn for the weirder.

"Good." She smirks, takes the drink offered, and is not the least bit subtle in her devouring while he wants away. She even lifts the whiskey to her lips, brows raised and expression pointed. That was a fine piece of ass.

But then he introduces a game, and given the invitation said 'Game Night', she had to take part. She takes her drink with her and rounds up her cheeky teddy bear. With a nudge and a nod, she encourages the Teddiursa to mimic what Boomer had done.

Before she officially moves, though, that familiar face down the length of the bar pulls her attention right back. Her reaction is animalistic, feral. He's tossed a bag at her and she catches it clumsily against her chest, nearly spilling her drink.

"Keep that attitude, kid. See how far it gets you."

She tosses the cub the cornn bag and Teddiursa swings at it with a SLASH. Remi winces as claws tear at the soft fabric holding everything together. Maybe it would land before it fell to pieces and spilled everywhere.

When the dust settles and the blood that stings her eyes is rapidly blinked out of them with an exhausted, exasperated expression, Remi can see that the battle has been won. Somehow, in some way, they've all managed to survive. Perhaps it has something to do with the Unown working so hard for them that they make it out of this alive.

Whatever the case, Remi doesn't feel like sticking around for long to second-guess or fart around. Well, maybe a little farting. She is a looter, a smuggler, a thief. If there is anything of particular interest, like a piece of tooth or a leftover scale or something physical for her to grab and stash, she grabs and goes.

The woman's Unown returns to her and she blows a brief kiss. "Thanks, babe," is quipped to the happy Pokemon, and she returns both it and her Krookodile while making a break for the portal. Admittedly, the woman does pause to look back. What a wild ride this had been. Who knew chasing her brother to Hoenn and finding him murdered would have landed her here? With Garchomp blades for arms and blood in her teeth.

This was the hardest she'd fought, by far, to stay above the water. And damnit, she was proud. These were fine trainers and people out here, even if they all worked underground and snuck their dirty laundry beneath their fucked up closet doors.

"Fuck yeah, we lived."

And after all of this excitement? She was definitely gonna get laid tonight.

A flirt, followed by a ghost from her past, and into the proverbial (or literal) arms of someone she actually liked. She bumps the sleeping Teddiursa from one hip to the other, shifting the cub so that both she and the babe are more comfortable. In her other hand is a drink-- non-alcoholic for this event. She sips at it now while waiting for her next date to show.

And when he does.. well. You could say she's quite pleased.

"Well, well, well.. if it ain't the old man himself. Didn't think I'd find you in a scene like this. Should I be worried?"

As usual, the woman leans heavily into flirting and accusing, purposely laying down her words in a way that would suggest they were an item. He never seemed to flush, though, and perhaps that's why she keeps doing it. The lack of response was sort of thrilling-- the lack of embarrassment, that is.

"Not that I'm complaining."

Remi takes light, silent steps down the hallway. She steadies her breath and works to slow down the slightly nervous beat of her heart. Out in the open, it was easy to see where the predator was coming from. Down here, in the dark, with hallways as wide as her arms were, doubled.. well. Let's just say it wasn't ideal.

And, for whatever reason, the lights this far down in the submarine were flickering like mad. Maybe this was the back-end of the sub, not really used and siphoned for everything it had. Who knows, she certainly didn't.

Whatever the case, it gave her the heeby jeebies. And, in the end, Remi comes up empty-handed. The blood trail eventually ends and her Mandibuzz comes back with nothing to show for it. The predator in the hallway gets off without a hitch, but the chances of it being at all a concern were likely slim. Rocket kept plenty of secrets, and there were many closed doors and laboratory situations kept secret.

Remi chalks it up to an experiment gone wrong and moves on with her day.
