The time for japes were over. ”Understood. Scrafty, you’re up.” The pokemon which had evolved after its kerfuffle earlier out in the caves. It was a strange thing, to call out a different name for a pokemon he had called a certain name for so long, it wasn’t something he could easily process.

”Low Kick.” He gave the command quickly, he had trained his pokemon to be able to fight on their own with their own choices, but this wasn’t that kind of fight. He couldn’t see a trainer nearby, he would have to allow his Scrafty to fight on his own, properly.

”You should take some weight off your shoulders, maybe a fight like this will do it.” He decided on some banter as his pokemon dived into his clash.

The Copperajah had taken a strange choice, as heavy as it was; it had leapt over the sliding low kick.

Kouji smirked at her reaction, which got a laugh out of him. But that disappeared in a moment, this was an issue, a problem; he understood that perfectly well. ”Scrafty, cover, Weavile, Beat up.” He said as Weavile jumped off the foot of his Scrafty, and was kicked into the air.

The fighting type pokemon had no choice but to take the attack directly, feeling itself get weaker, and felt the coating of poison, invading its own system. ”Tch.” He clicked his teeth, but looked up towards Weavile instead, darkness appeared from him, forming into the shapes of his other pokemon, and then, Weavile plus 3 other pokemon came soaring down, Absol, Scrafty, and Deino, each ready to land a hit.

”You’ve got this Scrafty, get ready to switch.” Fighting two at a time was out of his ballpark, and so he’d need to get better. Hopefully, he’d have the time to do so.

He couldn’t help but note to himself just how much like a stereotypical bully he sounded like; seperated, apart, and now he had someone he was aiming for, with real vitirol, the man across from him would definitely taste his knife at some point in their future.

Kouji smirked as the pokeball rocked back and forth. ”Yeah, we’ve been a duo since way back, he’s been my partner for the last eight years.” He looked at the pokeball roll multiple times before it came to a stop, and then clicked loudly.

But that was fine. ”He’s pretty hard boiled, but he’s soft just for me. Don’t try to pet him though, he’ll bite you.” He warned with a smile on his face, mirth in his tone and he watched the Yanmega use an ancient power to free itself, it seemed she wouldn’t need any aid.

”Nice.” He gave a shout of encouragement before he looked at the pokemon that came later on, he had no interest in either…That wasn’t true, he had his own Scrafty, but the Rimbombee was not worthwhile for him. ”Absol, show this Scrafty who’s the better dark type.” He said with a smirk as his pokemon readied itself, before diving forward, the horn on his head began to glow a deep black, a sucker punch ready to land right before impact, a solid counter that ducked the head smash, and then he dived up, a proper hit to the throat of the pokemon, as if to chase it away.

”Looks like your Yanmega really trusts you.”

Kouji didn’t have much choice in the matter, battle after battle came his way; and it seemed like it wouldn’t be the end here, ignoring his aching body, the cuts across his back, and the exhaustion he felt, he had no choice but to advance forward. ”Damn it.”

He had been noted, he had no choice but to leap out of the way of that pokemon move and into the open, but he felt the cold wind touch his skin, a sheen of ice covered his lower right leg, and he gritted his teeth, no choice.

”Weavile, Scrafty, you’re up.” He said as he threw two of his pokeballs into the air, the red light illuminated the space for a moment before they stood there. Recently evolved, recently strong, this conflict had pushed him more than he had ever been before. ”Sorry pretty thing, but I’m going to get past you. But feel free to take my number, and I’ll call you after this is all done.”

Weavile dived into it, his evolution, the move that rolled through its head, all of it was worthwhile, no, it was worth even more. She moved forward, as she ran forward she ran her claws against each other sharpening them, honing them, before she ducked, her claws grew longer, sharper, into real steel before she joined into it. Calling it roughhousing wasn’t quite right, it was vicious, but she was taking more damage for each blow.

As for Kouji, things were getting tougher, as he was struck in the back, a sharp strike that made it almost impossible for him to breath, only to immediately be hit by a pokeball in the face that forced him off; rolling off Colton, a strong strike in both senses. He couldn’t breath as he struggled for it, his back was scratched up.

He knew it more than anything else, the world around them was beginning to change, his Weavile, bruised and hurt as she was jumped to his side, eyeing both of the pokemon. But the ground began to crack; break, and the mist began to seep in, as if the strange space itself was forcing peace.

The effectiveness of a fighting type move was great on both ends, Kouji felt his leg make contact; his opponent was rolling in pain, as deep as a person would be able to feel; he almost felt bad for him until the image of his eevee flashed through his mind. It reignited the anger, and made him fall upon his enemy, straddling him, fists poised, and ready to fall down on him.

Were it not for the loud crash behind him, Sneasel bounced off the ground, and smashed into a rock; struggling to stand; and yet it felt the darkness in the heart of her trainer as if it were her own, standing taller by the second; she pushed herself off the floor only to crash back down, she gritted her teeth, and that was the moment in which a light shined around her.

It was a white glow that illuminated the space in which they occupied, her shape changed under it before a burst of wind took over the space; standing tall, standing strong, his Sneasel and become a Weavile, and she was ready to rumble.

His punch had landed, and he had taken it too; Kouji’s nose burst, blood covered his vision as it sprayed out, but his own followed through; it might’ve been a difference in size, but that was to be expected, laying out the opponent in front of him.

”You’ve got a good swing.” Kouji said as he wiped his sleeve across his nose, his jumper was properly bloodied now, he was happy with this much at this point. ”It’ll be a pleasure fighting with ya in the future. Trust me, the training is pretty intense. If you wanna fight more, find either me or @tempest at the sub.” He spoke of the place that others spoke of.

He had yet to go there, but he would once this went. ”Neither of us are the kind to go easy, but you’ll be glad for it. The next time you’re stuck in hand to hand, you’ll be bowling people over.” He said as he ran his bloodied hand through his pure white hair, already marred by dirt and bits of blood.
