As Sailor picked up the Safari Ball, he noticed something else wander onto their path and couldn't help but smile -- a Seedot! The final Pokémon they would have wanted from this Safari Zone jaunt.[break][break]

"Obstagoon, make your new friend feel welcome. Take down." Their Pokémon was only all too happy to make this happen, charging at the small grass type and avoiding the headbutt it tried to retaliate with.[break][break]

It didn't seem to have too much experience with battling, and Obstagoon found it easy to overpower.[break][break]

But Sai saw potential, knowing that they didn't care for their first stage evolution and they tossed out a safari ball. At least for now, their work here was done.

Another successful capture and then a Mimikyu appeared. Sai liked the luck they were having at the Safari Zone so far...[break][break]

They nodded at Obstagoon who, by now, knew what to do. The Mimikyu hadn't expected a fight, judging from how it reacted when Obstagoon charged it. Sailor hoped this didn't mean it was weak.[break][break]

Once Obstagoon had taken care of the Mimikyu, Sailor used one of their remaining Safari Balls to capture it.[break][break]

This left just one now, but luckily they only had one more Pokémon they wanted to find.

The Galarian Yamask was caught and Sailor was pleased to see a Nickit wander their way next.[break][break]

They gestured towards the wild Pokémon, "Obstagoon, use Take Down, don't let it get away." This Safari trip would, hopefully, help Sailor pad out their options a bit more.[break][break]

While they were picky when it came to typing, they knew they needed a variety of Pokémon to help with any number of situations. They watched as Obstagoon attacked the Nickit, who used Snarl and then Night Slash in retaliation.[break][break]

"Good. This one has some fight in it. Obstagoon, Cross Chop." The second attack seemed enough to overpower the Nickit, who had tried its best to avoid Obstagoon's advance. Sailor nodded and tossed out a ball.

Sailor was pleased to see that the first Pokémon who appeared was one that they had hoped to encounter. Now, how did this go? Were they supposed to just treat this like a regular wild Pokémon?[break][break]
"In that case... Obstagoon, use Cross Chop to make it easier to catch." Obstagoon obliged, keen to earn the promised Cream Puff. The Yamask didn't stand much of a chance and Sailor tossed one of the Safari Balls.[break][break]
Obstagoon came back to their side and they nodded, "Let's move on and see what we can find next."

"One of the easiest requirements seems to be acquiring a bug type." Sailor signs to their sibling as they step into Petalburg Woods, "So here seems like a good spot."[break][break]

This was also a good chance for Sailor to take their newest Pokémon for a test drive but, as always, Obstagoon was beside Sailor to keep watch. "I guess we just try and catch the first bugs we see..." If any would show up.[break][break]

There was also the temptation of poison types to be found here... Sai opened their cross-body bag and checked how many balls they had. It would be okay to catch an extra Pokémon or two.

They didn't know what their sibling had in mind, either.

The idea of going into the Safari Zone hadn't interested Sailor before they saw a bulletin posted by another grunt, claiming that there were some ghost and dark types spawning at the moment.[break][break]
That was how to catch Sailor's attention. They (reluctantly) paid the fee and entered with four balls. Four chances to catch something worthwhile. Obstagoon had been the only Pokémon that Sai brought with them, and he seemed less than impressed to be traipsing alongside his trainer.[break][break]
"If it goes well, I'll treat you to a cream puff later." Sailor promised, which perked Obstagoon up. His trainer didn't often offer treats to their Pokémon...

"Ah... That explains a lot." Sailor nodded as Frank explained the Pokémon behind all of this. Being a fan of ghost types, Sai had some knowledge of this particular Pokémon (and hoped to have their own some day). [break][break]
Frank suggested talking to it, and Sailor shrugged, "Be my guest." They stepped back and allowed Frank space to get into the storage room. Sailor also gestured for Obstagoon to back away and, with some reluctance, the normal-dark type did just that.[break][break]
They didn't bother to tell Frank to be careful, and they were interested to see how he planned to talk or reason with the Misdreavus. Sailor would have just used Obstagoon to take it down and take it some place for someone else to deal with.

"This ain't my first rodeo, kids!" Théo let out a cackle and Sailor would have commented on how strange those words sounded coming from a man with a heavy Kalos accent if not for, well, the life or death situation they were in.[break][break]
Instead of reversing the boat, they were going forward and Sailor looked at Fen in confusion, "I have no idea what he's doing." Sailor signs before picking up their phone. It's fine and still recording.[break][break]
Gramps steered the boat around the Kyogre and Sai had to admit it was sort-of clever. They could move around it faster than it could turn, but it was doing its best to track them. Another beam of light shot through the water and narrowly missed them again.[break][break]
Sailor wouldn't help but feel they were being toyed with.[break][break]
They shrugged, sighed and continued narrating, "We are currently circling the Kyogre while it shoots more beams of light at us -- Origin Pulse. We seem to have a slight advantage with speed but it won't take long for the Legendary to catch up." Sai shot their grandpa a look... Théo was having the time of his life, "Yeehaw!"

Sailor observed the office space and was only mildly surprised to see Oscar had a Pokémon hidden away. They made a mental note to catch something similar for their own team in the future. Would be useful for a job like this.[break][break]
They waited for the Ariados to come back and gave it a nod, their way of saying thank you. Sai followed Oscar through the offices and didn't need to be told to be quiet. They weren't an amateur. [break][break]
When the elevator came into view, Sailor removed their phone from their pocket and tapped at the screen. They popped the panel from the elevator controls and connected a lead from their phone to it, "We have complete control of this elevator." They murmured after a few moments and put their phone away again.[break][break]
"No one else will be able to use it." Which was a huge advantage. They also disabled any security cameras or communication systems within the elevator itself. At least the pleasing music would still play.[break][break]
They went into the elevator and tapped at their phone again, "There are five security guards on duty. Three are in the surveillance room and two seem to be doing rounds. There are several cameras as well... I'll deal with those." A few more taps on their phone would fix that. Sai could cause their cameras to loop footage from the past three minutes, which would cover their tracks. As for the guards -- maybe Oscar had an idea to deal with those.

Sailor frowned in displeasure to see Obstagoon fail them like this, "Do better." They reminded their Pokémon who snarled at Loki -- how dare this stupid Cinderace make him look bad? Obstagoon shook off the Ember and advanced again.[break][break]
"Use Cross Chop." Sailor commanded with a bored tone. If Obstagooon lost this fight for them... Well, Sai wouldn't be pleased and there would be consequences.[break][break]
