"Huh." Was that a Celebi? Sailor turned to follow the Pokémon's flight path but it disappeared out of sight. Nah, no way they had just seen a Celebi.[break][break]
Obstagoon, Weezing and Crobat followed their trainer as Sailor tried to get closer to some of the Toxic Chained Pokémon so they could record what was happening. One of them, an Oddish, was firing off Petal Dance without a care of who or what it would hit. Sailor hissed through their teeth, half of their face covered by a mask, "Crobat, hit it with a Confuse Ray, Weezing follow up with Double Hit" They directed calmly, watching to make sure no more of the Toxic Chained Pokémon appeared to attack.[break][break]
After a few well-timed hits, Crobat and Weezing returned to Sai's side and they nodded, "We got enough footage, let's retreat."

"Do you believe in aliens?" Sailor signs at their sibling as they finally join them, watching the Iron Moths infected with their Toxic Chains. Next to them, as always, is their Obstagoon but today they also have Weezing and Crobat. Their Crobat would be a new addition that Fen hadn't met yet and Sai liked surprising der.[break][break]
Sailor took out their phone and recorded some of the chaos, a record of what happened would be useful for their scientists or whoever to study -- right? One of the Iron Moths is injured by a trainer and Sai manages to get a good shot of the fluid that spills out of it. They wondered what it was...[break][break]
Then Fenelle mentioned leaving and Sai raised a brow, "You don't want to see how this turns out?" The spot they had picked seem pretty safe from the Iron Moths that flocked the trainers down below but Sai understood. They wouldn't be much use to anyone if they got hurt needlessly.[break][break]
They turned to follow their sibling, "Come on." Sai commanded their 'mons, heading out again.

Sailor scoffed, "That sounds like something someone who wanted my name for a police report, would say."[break][break]
They finish their drink in three more sips and then tossed the empty cup into the nearest bin, "You want my name? Fine, you have to battle me for it. My Obstagoon versus your Cinderace. We can do it out front, there's space there."[break][break]
"I assume you know how to battle?" Without waiting for Azure's answer, Sai led the way outside, and Obstagoon seemed thrilled at the prospect of a fight. Sailor couldn't blame him -- they approved that their 'mon was so bloodthirsty.[break][break]
Looking around, Sailor spotted the nearby battling plaza and took their place on one end.

A screech to the left immediately drew Sailor's attention, and they advanced, gesturing to Obstagoon to go ahead.[break][break]
When their eyes landed on the Crobat, Sai smirked, "This must be my lucky day." A Crobat would be a phenomenal addition to their party. This Crobat was fighting with two Golbat and seemed to have the upper hand.[break][break]
Sai watched as the Crobat fended off the Golbat and then struck with confuse ray followed by cross poison. Obstagoon was itching to get involved, but Sailor signalled for him to hold back -- they wanted to know the outcome of this fight.[break][break]
It didn't take long for Sai to realise why the Crobat was fighting against these Golbat. It was hard to tell unless, say, someone had been drilled with Pokémon Biology by a private tutor (as was the case for Sailor) but it seemed to them that the Golbat were male and the Crobat was female.[break][break]
But the Crobat was presenting with Masculine traits, evident by their cry and how they were acting around these other Males. Not submissive, but trying to dominate the territory.[break][break]
Interesting.[break][break]
One Golbat went down easily and limped away, head tucked under a wing but the second held on for a moment longer. Crobat swooped down and landed a well-aimed Bite which was enough to fend the Golbat off. When the second Golbat retreated, Sai stepped forward with a Poke Ball at the ready, "Obstagoon, don't give it time to breathe. Hit Crobat with a Take Down." [break][break]
Obstagoon was more than happy to comply as he charged the Crobat. It didn't have a moment to recover or react and took the shot full-on, which caused it to be knocked out. With a scoff, Sailor tossed their poke ball at the 'mon.[break][break]
"Easy capture but perhaps I should thank those Golbat for wearing them down." Sailor nodded to Obstagoon who retreated back to their side, "Come, we have no further need to be out here." [break][break]
With that, Sai turned and headed back to Slateport proper.

Fenelle had gone in search of a new Pokémon for der team, and Sailor felt it was only natural they should do the same. They lagged behind, with only three Pokémon to their name (and one of those a recent gift they hadn't decided to add to their team yet).[break][break]
They walked through the Slateport Outskirts on the lookout for something to add to their team. They tended to favour Dark, Poison and Ghost types so this place was ideal to hit two out of the three.[break][break]
As always, Obstagoon was out of his ball and following closely. Sailor had Weezing in his ball, ready for back-up if the situation called for it.

Sai merely nodded. They had confidence in Fen and knew dee wouldn't fail at this. [break][break]
After a moment, they held the ball that now belonged to their new Weezing and recalled the Pokémon. It was bad enough having Obstagoon follow them around, they didn't need the nine-foot wonder trailing behind, either.[break][break]
"Alright, my turn to buy, so pick anywhere you like for food." Once they had hiked back down, Sailor would arrange transport to whatever city their sibling picked.

Well, at least this guy could tell Sailor had cute hair. That was something.[break][break]
"You could have set that up, I don't even know your name or where you live, so why would I be in your house?" Sailor rolled their eyes and then again when Azure pointed out the smartwatch, "Are you stupid? I just said it's a common brand I'm wearing so I'm not surprised if your tiny pea-brain thought it might be yours. If I wanted a watch, I could just buy a watch. I don't need to steal one."[break][break]
Only they had and it was fun to see Azure freak out like this.[break][break]
They looked at their phone and saw Fenelle had dumped a text file into their chat that had a lot of Azure's personal information on it. As expected, dee was the best and worked fast.[break][break]

Their tea was half gone by now but Sailor didn't really want to drink any more. They pushed their cup off to the side and clasped their hands together, "A promotion? I'll have to congratulate him for working so hard." Which was just Sailor's way of confirming they'd take on the task.[break][break]
It was rare they'd ever say no to something like this, but they got the feeling this was a big one. Someone potentially dangerous, "It can be hard meeting new people when we work so much, so it would be nice to get to know him if he can spare the time. Honestly, I won't be offended if it doesn't work out." Sailor smiled.[break][break]
They leaned back in their seat and sighed softly, "Has anything exciting happened in your life since we last met?" An opening in case there was anything else Cillian needed to pass on. If not, their meeting was probably drawing to a close.[break][break]
Not that they were dumb enough to just up and leave. Sailor knew how to play it casual and act like this was a proper catch-up between friends. Some filler conversation to make sure things didn't sound too fake.

Frank didn't seem too bothered by how they tackled this, so Sailor merely nodded and set off in the direction he picked. They walked along, with Sailor checking any rooms on their side of the corridor, but nothing seemed out of place -- so far.[break][break]
"I don't understand people who are scared of Ghost 'mons." Sai commented in a bored tone, using their Rocket-issued torch to check a room with no working light switch. They made a note of that for maintenance as well.[break][break]
They are, however, surprised that Frank isn't aware who Sailor's parents are. It made for a nice change, "My parents and my grandfather are in the Rocket Organisation. Only seemed natural that I would follow in their footsteps." Sai glanced up at Frank, "What about you?"

They smiled at their friend and then looked a the display case, tempted by the desserts.

A grass/poison type, huh? Sailor watched the Amoonguss and Foongus with a sigh. No chance they'd be allowed to take one with them...[break][break]
An ideal solution to this predicament would be to have a Pokémon that resisted those types or could use a move to make sure the stowaways were unable to react and shoot out their spores.[break][break]
Sailor had an Obstagoon and a Galarian Weezing to use.[break][break]
They approached a crate that should have had counterfeit Luxury Balls inside but it was easy to spot the hidden 'mons -- they should have picked a crate of regular balls. Sailor smirked, "Obstagoon, use Scary Face so they can't escape and Weezing..." Sai was sidetracked for a moment by their sibling. "Hm, do you want to try collecting some? Or maybe a bit of the Toxic Chain?" They signed back before they grabbed a Foongus and holding it out for their sibling to see. The pink-purple chain wriggled when the Pokémon moved.[break][break]
Obstagoon used Scary Face which caused all the 'mons to freeze up and then when they started wriggling again, it was a lot slower, lethargic even. "They seem weak." Sai tossed the Pokémon onto a pile that had been extracted from crates already. [break][break]
No doubt Rocket would find a use for them, regardless.

Sai gestured for Obstagoon to move back a bit and looked at the phone. Their brows rose slowly, "You think that pixel blur is me? Should I be insulted?"[break][break]
Hm, interesting that this guy had evidence like that. Of course, the stream set-up. Either he was smart enough (doubt) to grab a screen grab himself, or someone from his audience (likely) did it.[break][break]
"Hm. This is a really common brand, a lot of people wear it." Sai flashed the watch as they took out their phone and messaged Fenelle Miller to look into whoever this guy was, to find out about his background and whatever else dee could dig up.
