Sai did notice that Fenelle hadn't retaliated immediately, so now they needed to be on their guard for later.[break][break]
It seemed Fen was as awestruck by Kyogre, and it did take Sailor a moment to recover as well. While Fen handled the photos, Sailor started a voice recording for their records (which they would write up a transcript for later), "Kyogre has breached the water in front of us. It seems as though it hasn't been disturbed by any League trainers, and there are no noticeable, visual differences from our last records. The Legendary Pokémon seems uninterested... It's looking at us." [break][break]
The Rotom phone continued to record, "Grandpa, time to leave." Théo started the engines again and Sailor stumbled backwards, catching themself on a seat nearby, "Kyogre is following us in its sight but it hasn't moved... Wait, there are orbs of light appeared in the surrounding water. Oh Arceus, I think it's--" The first beam of light just missed their boat but Sailor was of the opinion that it was a warning shot.[break][break]
They dropped their phone, which would continued to record what happened next.

Sailor nodded, impressed. Not everyone was good with numbers, so it was always fascinating to meet someone who was skilled with them, and Sailor knew it pointed to Frank being smart.[break][break]
So, better to be paired up with him than some brain-dead grunt.[break][break]
Sai sighed and entered the room, Obstagoon close on their heels, scanning the side of the room they'd picked. Frank seemed to find nothing and Sailor couldn't see anything either, "Noth--" A loud bang drew their attention and Sailor turned but didn't see what it was. However, Obstagoon had and chased after the culprit.[break][break]
"Great." Sai mumbled as they hurried after their Pokémon.[break][break]
Obstagoon left the baths and chased the Misdreavous down the hallway and into a store room. Sailor followed and went to flick the lights on -- of course they didn't work either. Had to be something to do with whatever Pokémon was behind all of this.

Obstagoon has no problem hitting the Cinderace and avoiding the attack it retaliates with. Then Sailor nods, "Use Fury Swipes now you've closed the distance," Obstagoon let out a snarl and kept himself close to Loki.[break][break]
Once, twice, thrice... Four times, Obstagoon lashed out with sharp claws. He aimed for the face and chest of his opponent.[break][break]

Perhaps a Hatterene wasn't the kind of Pokémon Sailor was looking for but they knew how popular such a Pokémon was -- they'd be able to trade it for something they wanted. [break][break]
Sailor gestured with a lazy flick of their hand, "Deal with it. Obstagoon, use Scary face. Weezing, use Double Hit and Crobat... Hm, a Confuse Ray." All three Pokémon nodded to acknowledge their instructions and attacked the Hatterene as one.[break][break]
If they had attacked one at a time, the fairy type probably would have had an easier time fending off Sai's 'mons. As it was, they were good at working as a unit and took the Hatterene down easily. Sai smirked and tossed a ball, "Great work."

"We're on the look-out for a ghost type." Sailor reminded the small team of Pokémon they brought along -- Obstagoon, Weezing and Crobat. Each of them answered in their own way and Sailor snorted, "Alright, keep your eyes peeled then."[break][break]
The route they were on was near the Safari Zone and Sai had been tempted to stop by there to try their luck with whatever Pokémon had been spotted there recently -- from the bulletin they'd seen, there were some that would suit their preferences.[break][break]
But that was something to worry about for another day as Sailor continued on their walk and hoped something decent would show up.

"Sounds good, I'll look forward to it." Sailor smiled and made a mental note of everything Cillian had told them. It was going to be tricky but Sailor was always up for a challenge... It would just take some preparation and care and they couldn't just rush into meeting this new mark.[break][break]
Sailor sighed, "Yeah, sorry I can't stay longer. I have a big project coming up so I need to hurry back to the office and work overtime for that. But we definitely have to meet up again soon, maybe we can see each other in a few weeks for a catch-up?" Most of what Sailor said wasn't code but the request for a meeting in two weeks was genuine.[break][break]
Even if Sai hadn't made progress, they could still keep Cillian updated with that they had done, "Sorry, I'd better go before I get into trouble with my boss." They laughed as they stood up, taking their drink with them to toss into the bin, "I'll see you later, bye." [break][break]
No one seemed to follow Sailor as he slipped through the crowd and out of the Night Market -- a relief. They had a lot to think about and their first stop was going to get Fenelle's help with digging into the new mark once Cillian passed forward the information.

If their grandfather was aware of their conversation, he didn't show it on his face and seemed wholly focused on the waves. Sailor snorted. Listen, it was kinda cute when their gramps got excited or hyperfocused on stuff like this.[break][break]
"Yeah it's hard to tell with him sometimes but he'll have our back if things get hairy too." Sailor smiled at Fen and ruffled der hair a bit too, knowing dee might take revenge for it.[break][break]
They nodded as Fen signed about the League idiots -- hard agree. But soon they were where they needed to be and Théo slowed the boat down. He didn't drop the anchor or cut the engine (he wasn't stupid) but kept them idling. "You kids do what you gotta do. I'm here if we need a quick getaway." His signing was very basic, so Sailor filled in for him for Fen's sake.[break][break]
Sailor rose and went to the bow of the boat, "What are we supposed to be looking for any-- Shit." Kyogre breached the water not too far from their boat and Sai froze. It was incredibly humbling to see a legendary Pokémon in the flesh but they were glad to see Kyogre didn't seem to have any interest in them.[break][break]

So he was after the filters? Sounded easy enough. Not that Sailor was going to be complacent because of that. They took each job as seriously as any other.[break][break]
"Would I be here if I had a problem with that?" Sai commented, not even looking at Oscar but scouting the rooftop and seeing a few options for how they could start the break in -- and spotted Oscar was already at the door. They smiled, it was nice to have a partner who knew what they were doing.[break][break]
Sai followed and headed into the building. They moved down the staircase with light steps, coming to the first exit onto a floor and cracking the door open. The hallway was clear and they nodded at Oscar.

As the Ranger sent his Cinderace forward, Obstagoon let out a pleased yell and Sailor snorted, "Alright, you gotta win this. I want that phone. Obstagoon, use Headbutt!"[break][break]
The dark-normal type wasted no time in charging at the Cinderace, aiming to land the headbutt on its chest if possible. Sailor crossed their arms, giving off an air of boredom as they watched the fight begin.[break][break]

"Something like that, yeah." Sai smiled, unbothered by the choice of phrase. They had used it for themself plenty of times before, and it wasn't entirely wrong either. They just hoped it wouldn't change Frank's opinion of them or their ability to contribute to the Organisation.[break][break]
So this guy was pretty new to the Org? Sailor didn't comment on that but raised a brow, "Finance huh? So you like working with numbers?" Sai was okay with maths -- enough to get by. Just don't ask them some stupid multiplication or to solve some weird algebra.[break][break]
Sai slowed to a stop just as Frank asked about the sound, "So you heard it too? Might just be a grunt who did something stupid." They shrugged and started in the direction of the Baths.[break][break]
They pushed open the door but the lights were off -- odd. Sailor reached in and flicked them on, only they didn't come on. More groaning sounds could be heard, coming from further into the baths and Sailor squinted, "Can you see anyone?"

Sai laughed a little a the Primeape, "Zeus? Cute." But whether they meant it or not... Up to Thea to decide. She said goodnight and Sailor parroted it back to her.[break][break]
A few moments later and a grunt came by and dropped off the cargo -- a crate with some kind of 'mon instead. Sailor would have the details sent to their Rotom Phone via some encrypted channel but for now they just got their Obstagoon to lift the crate and carry it.[break][break]
As they turned to leave, Sai spotted the same girl nearby and waved goodbye to her with a smile. Nothing suspicious, nothing weird here.[break][break]
But she did seem the interfering sort of Sai kept their guard up.

As usual, their grandfather was being cryptic and Sailor merely rolled their eyes (with fondness, because Théo was one of the few family members that they liked) and they joined Fen. Obstagoon sat nearby, arms crossed as usual but he seemed to enjoy watching the waves going by so Sailor didn't disturb him.[break][break]
"Change? I hope not." Sailor replied to Fen with a shrug. They hoped this was going to be a simple job. Go there, check on Kyogre or whatever, and then come back again. They were making good progress towards their destination, and Sai glanced over at their Grandpa.[break][break]
Next to him was his prize-winning Skunktank, "What do you think?" They signed at Fen, their gaze dropping back to their sibling.[break][break]
Sai couldn't even recall another grunt taking about checking on Kyogre so that had to be a good sign, they hoped, "Hopefully there's no League busybodies here today, either."

Meanwhile, Sailor took out their own phone, snapped a pic of the situation and sent it to Fen to enjoy. No doubt, their sibling would be rooting for them to win this match-up.[break][break]
