While she wasn't the best at battling, she could've, hopefully, put up a well enough fight to gain some experience from it. "Argos!" She called out the large turtle, who revealed himself onto the battlefield with a mighty roar. "I'm counting on you!"

As his hand cupped over her own, she could feel her heart beating faster and faster. The sheer love she had for him was bubbling over by the moment, and her breath hitched in her throat as she locked eyes with him. The moment would've been nearly perfect, minus the whole 'drunk' part, until...until that happened.

"Drago...nite...?" She muttered out with a confused expression until, finally, it hit her. With a flushed, embarrassed face, she abruptly tore herself away from him. "You...jerk! You dummy! You idiot! This...ugh!" Unable to do anything other than screech in sheer, flustered anger, she stormed out of the room. What was she thinking, mingling around with this drunk dummy? Ugh.

"Y-yea b'cus once that one guy and I get married," Noelle drawled heavily over the words, "kyle's gonna be sooo lonely!" She sounded as though she were about to cry again. But, thankfully, she seemed to get her drunken emotions under control enough. "Which is why you g-gotta...you gotta marry em'! H-he has dog breath, I-I know but...but...he probably kisses really good. Like..aallgghhh," she began to stick and flicker her tongue about in a rather gross, descriptive manner of how she imagined Kyle kissing anyone.

Eyes heavily lidded as she tried to fight off an intense wave of tiredness, she clung onto Bryony, even if it resulted practically dragging both of them deeper into the steamy depths of the hot water.

"P-promise me you'll...do it..."

Even as she was coddled and comforted, her sobbing didn't stop. "y-you'd be such a cute couple though! like...like his charizard and y-your swablu...perfect for one another! B-but its like..." Her hands gestured wildly, as the pinkette tried to place what she was feeling into words. "its like shoving a square in a circle!" she suddenly screamed, as though having an epiphany.

she fell quiet soon after though, as her head rested on bryony's shoulder after stopping her ugly crying. one would've thought she fell asleep, had she not suddenly perked back up with a whole new load of nonsense. "w-wha about kyle? he's cute! you're cute! i think...you'd be good for each otherrr?"

The girl let out a soft breath of relief - the catch was a success! Bending down to pick up the ball, she blinked at the sight of the a pink...thing staring at her, rather intently. "Uhm...hi," Noelle waved at the munna, the psychic type simply hovering about before turning and disappearing. What a weird encounter...Eh, it was fine though. She had a larvitar! Smiling and holding the newly caught pokemon tight to her chest, she wasn't sure how much time she had left here in the 'zone. But, why not see what else she could find?

A loud - very loud - whine erupts from the woman's lips when she's denied a 'quick feel'. "Wha...what?" She slowly blinked, "whaddya...what..." She could barely string together a question as her brow furrowed, looking down at her own chest before back at Bryony several times, as though trying to piece something together.

"O-oh...I think Chance is more of a...of a...uh 'junk in the trunk' sorta guy a-anyway! Y-you're totally in love with him, right? C-Cause he's so...so strong," for some odd reason or another, at the mention of the man, the girl's eyes began to water until she was full on sobbing. "H-he's so...so strong Bry. I think...I think you'd be great together but what if...what if he's too strong??" She was babbling about literally nothing as she full out sobbed about god knows what. In her mind, it made sense though, she swear it did.

"Y-you get what I mean, B-bry?!" Please say yes.

Oh, she...shouldn't have said that word. Even in his drunken state, that sole name could make the man seethe with anger. It was almost a bit funny, actually. Wincing as she was abruptly crushed against him in a hug that could make a bewear proud, she sputtered out in a slightly flustered state at the notion of being 'locked away'. He didn't...want Chancellor to seal- er steal her? Despite the insanity of the whole thing, it was sweet. Somewhat. She couldn't help but grow a bit warm and flustered, if just because it was Mateo of all people saying it. "we...don't have to do all of that - i mean...uhm...we're getting married, right? so he can't steal me anyway," she tried to reassure him, but, it was hard to keep a straight face.

up close like this...he was really adorable. especially when he acted like this. it just...

"If you do a good job picking up all the pieces, we'll go from there," a playfully teasing smile grows onto her lips, but, she really did mean it. she didn't have any qualms about being touchy with strangers...which, she likely should've been but...eh. eh. "going hungry sounds awful," her eyes were nearly the size of the moon itself at the thought. despite her questionable financial status, given her own family's status, it wasn't as if she couldn't just request funds from home. it was more of a...pride thing, at the moment. the moment she stopped being able to afford her monstrous appetite though, she was positive that 'pride' would go down the drain.

"huh?" his question was met with a blink and then an almost bitter smile. "I was trying to grow a gracidea flower 'cause they're super pretty and i wanted to give it to someone i really care about but...this is impossible. did you know you can actually drown a plant? or that it can 'catch on fire' if you use sunny day to give it some extra sunlight? amazing!" bitter sarcasm littered her voice until she let out a dramatic, choked sob, "i've...killed some many flowers in the past week that i actually feel terrible."

It was hard not to grow a bit pale in the face at the sight of the mighty garchomp - seriously? He...couldn't use someone like Siren? The pinkette gave a glance down at her own dragon-type, but, all she felt emitting from the young pokemon was one of confidence. She had to trust in him, just like he trusted in her. Seeing the land shark's devilish grin though...It was a really good thing she had Peach on standby.

"Nero," she spoke out to the deino with an oddly determined and serious look, "I believe in you." The words were a bit sappy, but, the meaning behind them was immense. the deino let out a little huff, but, nodded, staring up at the far larger dragon with an undeterred look. "garchomp's are really fast, right...? So let's - Nero, scary face!" The dragon leered towards kanē with a frighting expression and bared teeth.

That rosy tint on her cheeks only grew as he confirmed, in his drunken state, that yes, she was pretty. Although, his next question did spur a little giggle from her lips - she couldn't help it. Although, that giggle quickly silenced the moment she felt his breath near her ear, his lips nearly touching it with each slurred word he muttered. "Very pretty....prettier than Kyle and Chance...Beautiful-" She couldn't help but gush out in nothing but sheer adoration for the man...even when he was as drunk as a sailor.

"Do you....like me? Like like I mean - like..."

She was definitely going to hold this over his head.

'O-Obedient...c-cutie?!' Her mind was spinning. She was positive her heart was beating loud enough for all to hear, and her face felt warmer than a fire type. What...was going on? She didn't...mind this closeness. She should've, yes, she knew, but...dammit, she earned this. All the stubbornness she'd put up with from him...this felt...nice.

Soon, they lie in bed together, nestled close to one another with her head resting against his chest. From the rise and fall of each breath he took to the steady beat of his heart...god, it felt so surreal. Not to mention, each word he uttered made her heart doing a flip in her chest and her face become a shade darker. Should she record this? She definitely should've recorded this. His 'offer' was tempting, incredibly so. But she...didn't trust herself. If she got drunk as well, arceus knows what would happen.

"I think you drunk more than enough for the both of us." Noelle waved off his offer, even if she was internally fuming at it. She should've just accepted it, dammit. Think of the consequences later. She didn't move away just yet though, she wanted to relish in their closeness for a bit longer. And so, with her head still nestled on his chest, she glanced upwards at him.

What if she just...

"Do you think I'm pretty?"

There was absolutely nothing wrong about taking advantage of the situation. Not a thing.

The pinkette glanced over - and seeing him fast asleep, let out a breath of relief. Good. Now she could - "E-eep?!" She let out a startled little yelp when her wrist was snagged, and she was abruptly dragged atop of the man. Now...in any other situation, she would've been thrilled. And in some sort of way, she was. Her heartbeat quickened and her stomach twisted in the most wonderful of ways but...yeah, no, this wasn't it. He was drunk. This wasn't one of her fantasies coming alive.

...That didn't mean she couldn't secretly enjoy it a little still, right?

"We're going to be married one day...so, nope! Not one bit. You're stuck with me." She answered with a cheeky little grin before cringing, "mateo - how much did you drink?"
