It was honestly a bit of a spontaneous decision to pick up this mission but as soon as he caught sight of the flyer, Angelo knew that he had no other choice but to tear a tab off the bottom of the poster, claiming the details on the last remaining slip for himself.

It had been a long time since he had first heard those tall sailor tales, sitting on the deck of a creaking old fishing boat underneath the stars as he was taught which ones to follow. Years since he sat on the loose roof tiles of their home with his siblings, pointing out constellations and spinning their attentions around his little finger with their myths, yet Angelo was still besotted by the mass of twinkling lights that illuminated the stretch of inky night sky. Stars, the moon and the pokemon associated with them, the pay was a nice bonus but the idea of potentially getting to see some Beheeyem was enough of a reward in itself.

By the time his partner for the mission has arrived, Angelo is already at the scene, stretched out on his stomach atop a hill overlooking the farm; sun setting behind the trees and casting a dark purple glow. Discarded near a bush is his bike, tucked just out of sight and nestled into his side, wrapped up in his removed jacket, is a cleffa who peeks out of her cocoon with big, shy eyes. Angelo turns on his side and props himself up into a sitting position as he notices the other mission applicant approach, hand coming to balance the small bundled pokemon as she squeaks, knocked off balance from him moving.

“Hey,” he utters in a quieter volume than usual, lifting his hand up in a lazy wave as the person emerges from the night, before it moves to pick at a strand of grass that he notices casually hanging from his hair. “You here for the 'Wool and Ewe Ranch' job, too?” Right on cue, a chorus of bleats from the Mareep and Wooloo below echo from the bottom of the hill.
