As another Wooper came across their path Razz begun to wonder if walking along the river was the wrong thing to do. Sure it made it simpler to encounter a few pokemon as eventually they'll all need water, but as of yet only one pokemon of interest had come up. With a whistle to his pokemon he ordered them to divert their path, seeing if they could possibly encounter more active pokemon.

Looks like changing paths was a good idea, not really for the pokemon, but for the berries they found which made his pokemon excited. Too excited as even one from his pokeball came out to pop out his Chikorita. "What are you doing out?" he questions before the leaf pokemon seems to pout at him as if he should've known the answer to the question already. She joins in on the berry eating for now, Razz allowing the break before a Trapinch decides to pop it's head out surprising Laurel and making her panic. [break][break]

With the use of NATURAL GIFT Chikorita radiates an icy blue energy. Well good thing about the berries at least, he thinks to himself as he captures the Trapinch.

"You happy now?" Razz chuckles at the Chikorita who just smiles now with a belly full of berries as he returns her to her pokeball. After he looks to see if the other two were content before heading out, leaving another Bergmite to eat their meal as he had no interest in it.

Razz was glad to have returned the plant to her pokeball as what felt like out of no where an Arctozolt decided to stomp in. Though rather than feasting on the berry bushes it attempted to gobble of the bergmite who was just looking for a snack. Thankfully his pokemon were still out and before the odd bird could chomp down Dodger got in the way holding it's jaw open and allowed the bergmite the chance to flee. Afterward Dodger pushed back the fossil pokemon before using an Aura Sphere to send it flying.

With the Acrtzolt taken care of another pokemon popped up from the berry bushes. A Duramaka popping out and jumping at Razz forcing the ranger to catch her as she came out him with some tears in her eyes. The small ice ball seeming to be trying over something or another, maybe the fossil pokemon had be causing trouble than just trying to eat the earlier bergmite? "Umm its fine?" he tried to reassure as he puts her down. [break][break]

Again she babbles on before showing off her arms, looking kinda sad as she looked at them before looking up at him as if he could understand what she was getting at. Though he had no clue, so he could only look to his pokemon for some type of clue. Dodger waving his arm as if he knew as the aura pokemon took a pokeball from him before tapping it on the Duramaka. Dodger goes on about something, and the only thing he could guess it being about making her stronger.[break][break]

Who knows, all he knows is that he was getting cold, "alright time to go for now"
