Oscar recoiled as the falling wall gave off a horrible stench. It was a familiar smell, the scent of a world left buried for a very long time. Oscar  recovered from the assault on his senses, just in time to notice the little goodies that fell out of the wall. Oscar helped himself to his fair share before proceeding forward with his party.

True enough the way forward was dark, but with the help of Alexei it didn't take long to shed some light down the corridor. What they found was an underwater passage, which made Oscar recoil. He had not wanted to get wet today, but if that's what gets him to more treasure he might as well move forward regardless. They just needed a way to breathe under water.

Oscar pulled out a pokeball and released his discolored dewpider, Clavis. He picked up Clavis by the waste and whispered into his bubble. Clavis seemed displeased by what he heard, but nodded nevertheless. Oscar held Clavis out, "Everyone grab a Water Bubble."

Oscar helped attack Clavis's bubbles to his companions before giving himself one and returning Clavis to his ball. At the back of the line, Oscar would reluctantly dive into the underwater passage.

As soon as the last round of attacks hit the wall, it crumbled. Maverick was quick to step back, letting the dust and dirt settle before he noticed that nothing but darkness was revealed. He had his umbreon, but her glow rings would not prove enough light for safety for the all.

Luckily, one of his team mates had a pokemon that could light up the area with easy. But the light only revealed more troubles, spotting that a deep cavern of water stood in their way. The man pondered to himself, trying to think if he could even hold his breath for that long. His team mates yet again came up with a solution, proving water bubbles of air to aid in their swim. And once the man placed the bubble on his head, he drove into the bone chilling water after recalling his other creature to safety of his ball.

Warm colored flickered at the surrounding underwater cave, his team mate summoning a creature to attack a pile of rocks that seemed promising to let them through. But after the rock type attack hit, the rocks seemed to needed a little more push. Reaching into his pockets, the man summoned his water type creature known as Poseidon. The dragon and water type pokemon appeared to have been through a lot, mysteries scars littered his entire body and the kingdra seemed leaner than normal. He still recovering from his former trainers abuse but anyone would tell he seemed like he was in good hands now.

“Use hydro pump!” The man shouted in his small air bubble, slowly running out of oxygen with every passing second. And although it was slightly muffled, the pokemon understood. Taking in a deep breath, a stream of power water shot form his mouth at the rocks. And in not time, the rocks appeared to be breaking away bit by bit. Suddenly, anxiety filled him. What if his Kingdra wasn’t strong enough to break the rocks? Would they drown?

Oscar grunted loudly as he exited the water. No one had warned him this job would get so dirty, yet in his heart he knew he should have seen it coming. The water didn't bother him so much, he had swam in worse, but damn the feeling of wet clothes clinging to his body was wretchedly uncomfortable. Oscar popped his bubble and stepped forward, determined not to let this obstacle bring him too far down.

Oscar looked upon their new room and found plenty of places to search for more goodies. He wasted no time in getting started, bringing out a pokeball and releasing his Grimmsnarl: Darkside. Darkside chuckled deviously, looking to his master for orders. Oscar was quick to give them, arbitrarily pointing to one of the closest walls. "Ummm, there. Use Play Rough." 

Darkside let out a ghoulish cackle as he smashed himself against the wall, flailing his limbs madly. Oscar folded his arms and admired the commitment, though he hoped his eager goblin didn't end up hurting himself.

As soon the man broke the waters surface, he gasped desperately for air crawling out of the water. He shivered in his wet cloths, warm gaze flickered to the rest as they surfaced safely with him. "Is everyone okay?"

It was only once everyone was out of the water that the man got to his feet, returning his kingdra to his ball. He whispered thanks to the creature, shoving the ball away in his pockets just in case he needed him later. Popping the bubble around his head, his turned his attention to the room they were in now.

Oscar was quick to take the lead, sending out his creature to attack their next barriers. Following his lead, the man reached into his pockets to summon his own creature to assist. The grimmsnarl stood tall, arms crossed over his chest as a wicked crazy grin spread across his lips. Maverick nodded to the beast, knowing he hasn’t fully forgave him for what he made him do before. “Reaper! Follow their lead and use play rough!” The grimmsnarl leaped forward, bracing himself as a pinkish glow surround his frame. With all his might, the Reaper slammed his body into the rocks before backing away to let others have a shot.

Apparently, playing rough with the wall worked. It crumbled with the last hit from Alexei growlithe, Maverick carefully step back to let the wall fall apart before him. It was strange yes, but it worked so thats all the matter. Seeing as that was taken care off, the man nodded Reaper in a job well done. He recalled his beast, shoving his ball in his pocket for possible later use if needed. And once everyone was ready, Maverick collected his share of items and pushed forward to see what was behind lucky wall.

However, upon breaking the wall that stood between them and moving deeper into the cave, another obstacle stood in their path.

Warm gaze took in the vase chasm before them, noticing that a bridge like structure stood between them and the next area they needed to break through. He examined the land bridge, feeling as though he personalityly didn’t trust it. “I don’t know about you,” he mumbled, pausing to peeked over the edge to see how deep the fall would be if the bridge failed, “But I’m not willing to test that.” A chill ran down his spine at the thought of falling to his death, moving several feet away from the edge. Plucking another ball from his rooster, the man summoned his own flying creature to help him across. Mounting her before taking off to the other side.

Once on the other side, he waited for the rest of his team. There, they continued their dig. Recalled his flying creature and summoning another pokemon, the infernape stretched upon released and turned to his master for orders. “Use Close Combat right there where they did.” Sovar nodded, shifting to face the wall. His fist took on a reddish glow, drawing it back and punched the wall has hard as he could muster. However, it appeared it wasn’t enough. Moving away, he let someone else give it a shot.
