Chu-e was almost to Fortree. That was good. He didn't have anything to camp out with and he was getting pretty tired from all this walking already. Maybe the doctors had been right and he shouldn't have rushed into this so fast.

Currently, he was sitting on a flat platue halfway up one of the larger hills. He really just had to get to the top and then walk a bit more and he would be there, from what he remembered. But he was so tired! His side was aching and he had only stopped here because a coughing fit had took him over.

His Igglybuff was sitting on his chest from where he had flopped back in the grass. At least the ground was nice and cool. He idly blinked up at the sky and watched the clouds as he waited for the burning ache to die down some. Anyone who got a look at him from a distance might think he was a body.

What a great work trip. Colton thought mockingly of this whole trip to Fortree city. Colton's boss asked him to make a trip to the town on the other side of the region for a meeting they can't make. So they sent him as his rep, which wouldn't be an issue, but the problem was that everything has gone to shit.

First, his boat ride from Mauville was very late, and his ride to Fortree got stuck in some mud, and he had to walk the rest of the way there. That Colton remembers is a very long hike as one can guess he barely walks anywhere outside due to his job, so his feet started to ache and get blistered by the time he got to the half-way point-so farther still, he was a complete mess. Colton was pathing using his Sawsbuck to help stabilize his unsteady and painful steps until he just couldn't do it anymore.

Suddenly, Colton stopped mid-step and started to be an overdramatic baby and cry as he went down on his knees and looked at his Sawsbuck and said, "Go on without me I can't go on any longer-holy shit is that a dead body!" Colton's dramatic speech about living on without him was cut short as he spotted a figure lying in the grass with an Igglybuff looking ready to eat him!

Colton looks around freaking out not sure what to do he has never seen a dead body like this before what does he do!!!!

Chu-e, since he was busy dying and being a dead body, did not notice the weirdo and his sawsbuck. Pompom, however, did very much notice them and stoop up, hopping up and down and waving her little arms to greet the new friends, a giant smile on her face. She was a sweetheart who did not know a stranger, after all.

"What are you up to, Pompom?" He grumbled, slowly pushing himself up to sit. At least Colton wouldn't have to worry about a dead body any more... Chu-e glanced over and was in the process of raising his hand to also raise his hand when a pokemon smacked him on the back of the head, followed by another, larger, pokemon chasing. A Gossifluer and a Heracross. The Heracross seemed to be chasing the flower pokemon for some reason.

They had both decided to run circles around the man and his Igglybuff, which was grabbed and pulled to his chest. For their part, the two wild pokemon didn't seem to particularly care that any of the humans were there. "Huh..." Looking over to meet Colton's eyes, the man had a very 'I am so done with life' look on his face before he called out. "Ah... a little help...?"
