A Zigzagoon darted out a bush and into his path. Chu-e paused at the same time the pokemon did. They stared at one another, deep into each other's eyes. Was this the pokemon he had been looking for? That he knew in his heart of hearts would be his and join his team? Would they forge a close bond that other trainers would be jealous of?

Nope, because the Zigzagoon fucked right off and back into the bush as quick as it came. Which, like, kind of sucked, cause Chu-e actually really liked Zigzagoon and wanted one for a Linoone later, but it would be okay. He could always find one elsewhere.

Hunting Normal

A few more steps down whatever path he was on and Chu-e thought out kicking a rock. Then he saw a really weird white rock and picked it up instead, because rocks were the most interesting thing to him right now. A moment later another pokemon tore from the bushes, big fat tears in it's eyes and reaching up hopelessly for said rock. Well, good timing on the Happiny's part because Chu-e had been about to chuck it's stone as far as he could.

Instead he leaned over and handed the rock back to the pokemon. It squealed and placed it back in it's pouch, relieved it was there. While it celebrated, Chu-e took out a pokeball and tossed at it. The pink pokemon never saw it coming.
