The Calcifet Vineyard at Meteor Falls had seen better days.[break][break]

Despite it being at the fringe of the conflict, the war at Meteor Falls had ravaged it weeks earlier. Some progress had been made in restoring it since then, but its eastern wilderness (leading up towards the mountains) was still considerably worse for wear. It was, quite frankly, an eyesore, and the ambassador had commissioned the League personally to help restore it with him.[break][break]

Utilizing the same Tsareena he had used when Sakura had come to help restore his vineyard, the dark-haired royal put on his farmer's hat and pointed ahead towards a patch of territory marred by blackened grass and splintered trees. "There, Lysithea. Do your work." He nodded, grabbing a wheelbarrow by its handles afterwards as he proceeded to collect burnt branches and other debris that could get in her way.[break][break]

The Tsareena, in the meantime, huffed as she looked over her shoulder at him. She definitely felt he could have asked her a bit more nicely, but raised no fuss beyond the thought. Instead, she leapt into the air and descended upon that blackened grass with a revitalizing TROP KICK.[break]

Sabine was only here to snoop, and as such, she did not come wearing any clothes befitting a hard-working civilian. She's dressed in one of her expensive, form-fitting dresses, fingernails freshly manicured, and her hair pulled back in a professional and hair-sprayed fixture.[break][break]

She looks completely out of place amongst the debris laying about, the wheelbarrow covered in mud, and the young man hauling broken branches from one place to another. In fact, her nose is so wrinkled in disgust it may very well freeze that way. Sabine stares at the Tsareena as it performs its trop kick, but she doesn't appear the least bit impressed.[break][break]

"Don't you have hired hands to do this sort of work?"[break][break]

The woman side-steps a fallen branch, tucking her dress closer to her before it gets snagged.[break][break]

The kick serves to sprout new flower buds and a wave of fresh green grass to surround them. Remiel turns to find Sabine unimpressed, and sighs when she's asked her question. "I've given them two weeks for the holiday. They are not bound to service as the help in Calcifet Palace are." He explains, noting that his Tsareena has stopped and turned to regard his sister instead.[break][break]

The prince gestures for her to continue, but Lysithea hardly spares him a glance. There's indecision in her eyes; a dash of rebellion. She doesn't think they should be doing this either. Even so, she bothers to wave an arm, summoning a SWEET SCENT that serves to pollinate and hasten the growth of the flowers. The act requires very little effort on her part anyway.[break][break]

"If we leave these wilds in ruins," Remiel continues, a bit more lecture in his tone as he steps forward. "It will invite pestilence, sister." Picking up the branch threatening Sabine's dress, he tosses it towards a pile nearby. It will be burned to a crisp later.[break]

Sabine leans on one heel, only mildly impressed by the display and the direct result of the Pokemon's abilities. The grass and flowers that spring up from the decayed, burned earth are honestly quite beautiful. She doesn't say this out loud, however, and instead chooses to refocus on Remiel.[break][break]

"Two weeks? Mother barely gave our 'help' two days, brother. You've grown soft, living here."[break][break]

Her nose crinkles, visibly disgusted, but she continues to approach the man even despite how filthy he is. As she does, however, she finds herself side-stepping to watch Remy pick up and dispose of the branch she had just avoided.[break][break]

"And that affects us.. how? This sounds like a problem for anyone but us."[break][break]

The Tsareena exudes its QUEENLY MAJESTY after it realizes Sabine has turned away from her, and stomps the ground beneath her feet once more (TROP KICK) to try and regain the attention of the two siblings. Unfortunately for her, they seem rather preoccupied with their conversation, even as berry bushes and cabbage patches rise from the soil miraculously.[break][break]

"And yet she wondered why she received such little applause at her speeches..." The prince mutters, tossing clapping his hands clean of earthly residue. Meeting Sabine's look with his customary indifferent stare, he nods westward. "As I'm sure you know, my estate lies close by. If we allow this area to fester, it shan't be long before it reaches my vineyard and effects my crop."[break][break]

He walks over to a hoe sticking out of the ground nearby, and pulls it out with one strong pull. "But perhaps you wouldn't understand. Are you still living out of a hotel?" He inquiries.

Sabine does not notice nor care about the Tsareena and her attitude problem. Her focus is wholly on her big brother and how utterly disgusted she is to be victim to his indifferent stare. It reminded her so much of mama's, and it made her skin crawl. [break][break]

"Again, dear brother, I don't see how that's your problem. Surely you have servants and gardners you pay handsomely to take care of your estate, inside and out. This is beneath you, as I've already said."[break][break]

Of course, the woman's face would soon grow hot with exasperated rage when he turns around, hoe in hand, to insult her own living arrangements. She gasps, struggling to compose herself, and instead sputtering and tucking her chin with haughty indignance.[break][break]

"You.. you're so mean! It isn't my fault you despise me, and every time you look at me all you see is mother."[break][break]

Tears well up in her eyes, but it is uncertain whether they are crocodile tears.[break][break]

Remiel scoffs, swinging his hoe down upon a bundle of dark, malignant-looking roots and leaves growing out of the ground. Obedience. Humility. Much like the poisonous weeds he attacked now, her people's hidden disdain gnawed away at her reputation, until she was left with no other choice than to rule the way she had: namely with manipulation, intimidation, and an iron fist.[break][break]

His heel presses into the blunt end of the hoe as it stomps it in deeper into the tainted soil. His muscles tense, taut and tight, as he pulls it down and slowly begins to dig out the rancid weeds below. Then his sister begins to cry, and he rolls his eyes, releasing the hoe from his grasp and straightening in posture to face her.[break][break]

He's about to tell her off; send her back to the black Benz she arrived in and make sure she knew he didn't believe her charade one bit. But, rather annoyingly so, he catches a glimpse of her: Bean, tears welling in her eyes because the girls at ballet tripped her and her ankle still hurts. He sighs, because then he feels like Bean's older brother again, the boy who had come to pick her up, ordering their chauffeur to drive them to Atkinson's for ice cream against their mother's wishes.[break][break]

"I... that's not true... ok?" He struggles to say, cobalt eyes flitting away to look at a stupid tree nearby. He almost brings himself to apologize, but just barely keeps himself from doing so. "But enough about that. You... came to see my vineyard, right?"[break]
