Luckily for Chu-e, the next path he went down had his prize: a Buneary. This one wasn't cute and pink like the first one he had caught but that didn't mean it wasn't adorable. It had barely stopped on the path when he flung one of his safari balls at it, catching the cute little thing before it had even realized what had happened. Just one ball left! He was doing good. A lot better than the last time he had come in here. That trail ride had seemed to take ages.

Ew, another ghost. Chu-e was so excited over his second successful rabbit capture than he almost ran right into the thing's plasma trail. He just huffed at the Duskull, which stared at him curiously, as he picked up his now filled pokeball and turned around to head in another direction. This place was like a weird maze, only with no walls. He could still see the safari entrance in the distance but there were so many weird gazebos and bridges it made getting around kind of hard. Oh well, he knew that someone would come get him when he ran out of balls. May as well journey deeper!

Chu-e came to a stone bench and sat down. He sighed, his feet were starting to hurt in these wooden shoes... why had he thought wearing them for something like this was a good idea? Maybe he had a rock for a brain. As he rested, he glanced up, seeing another Drampa pass by overhead. This one did a fancy little twirl in the air which made him grin lightly. The stars were so pretty... Chu-e decided he would just sit here and observe the area around him for a while. See if anything came to him.

As it turned out, Chu-e had picked a pretty good spot to sit down! The bench was on a little raised hill. While he couldn't see super far into the distance, he could look down and observe some of the wildlife. Another Tauros was a ways off, grazing peacefully in the field. He had never seen one of those pokemon look so calm before. He wondered if Bramble might like to have a friend. Maybe that Tauros he had caught earlier could stay in the pen with her until he figured out what to do with him. For now, though, he simply observed.

It looked like there were more spots in the distance that showed the Duskull were haunting the area. He wondered why so many of them had been released in with the rest of the pokemon here. All of them except the Duskul seemed to have a theme. Maybe he just wasn't thinking hard enough about it. Oh well. As long as they all stayed far away from him, he would be perfectly fine with just watching them.

Another Tauros? They seem to be getting really worked up down in the field. The one from before and this one step fighting, more animalistic than like a battle. He can see them charging at one another, horns clashing as they vy for the title of being the strongest. Chu-e wonders what they're fighting for. As far as he was aware, no Miltank or similar pokemon were in the safari for them to impress. Maybe for their own egos? Instinct? Whatever it was, it did make for an interesting watch.

About the time that Chu-e was starting to get up and move on, there was a rustle from the grass and another Buneary fell out of the bush, skidding to a halt in front of him on it's face. Well well, they were just throwing themselves at him at this point. Not even checking to see if it was okay, he tossed his final safari ball at the pokemon. Yes! Other than that tauros that had almost gutted him, he had gotten three whole bunnies for this trip. It was wonderful!
