THEME

The first pairing had been akin to a delicate duel, with Turtonator and Zeraora dancing back and forth, exchanging blows with daring, wit, and speed.
This fight was a shitshow. Blastoise staggered around, shooting off more reckless Water Pulses that soared well above Kommo-o.
  The clanging dragon had been hit by one of Megs's better-aimed shots, but had recovered and sent a sphere of force straight at Blastoise. "Get outta the way!" Zac shouted, not very helpfully. Megs did the best she could given her confusion and lunged...straight into the Aura Sphere.
There was a detonation, and she was thrown back in a tumble of shell and bruised, blue skin.
     "Whoa! Okay let's call it there." Zac said, rushing over to her side. "You okay girl?" He asked, checking her over. There was no reply. Megs had fainted. Zac patted her broad head and returned the Blastoise. "Great work," he whispered, proudly. "She needs a bit more practice. Grew up a bit too fast and isn't used to her new form yet." Zac explained, beaming at Kaz.
    "I think this battle really helped her!"

Blastoise was hit with Aura Sphere
Blastoise Fainted!

neither kazimir or kiryu were ready to see the sight of the blastoise jump into the aura sphere like that. both of them winced when they saw it fly back and land with bruises all over from the attack, a bit of guilt built up in the dragon's stomach as it followed its trainer to check on their opponent. as the pokemon was returned to its ball kazimir couldn't help but hold a worried look on his face as he wondered if he went a bit too far in the battle itself, he knew that he wanted to show zac that he was tough but not at the expense of their pokemon.

it was zac's smile that put that worry at ease inside and just seeing it coaxed a smile out of kazimir as well as he explained his blastoise was newly matured. "yeah some pokemon are like that when they evolve. i have a charizard that acts like a bratty charmander sometimes too." he followed his reply with a laugh as well before holding out his hand for a shake, "well why don't we head over to the center to get our boys patched up and grab a bite. i'm starving man."
